You will agree with me that taking a loan in Nigeria is very difficult especially from banks.

They will not tell you the hidden charges until you are in their "trap".

Am a graduate of mechanical engineering from the UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA with special interest in gas transport network (aspiring gas pipeline engineer)
The blowing up of pipeline is making headlines because it majorly affects power generation, so if there is a way to stop from affecting power generation it will make less headline and will be meaningless for the fools( Niger Delta avengers) Engineering solutions of this magnitude are very expensive but are worth it
My solutions is that all gas faired gas plants should as a matter of urgency build a gas storage facility capable of storing enough gas to power there plants for a month. With this any damage in the pipeline should be fixed within a month
This solution is expensive and will increase the cost of doing business in Nigeria but it's better than giving in to the demands of a militant groups, government should never bring its self down to the point of negotiating with militans group it will give others the impression that the government is weak

Gov Rauf Aregbesola has been heavily criticised concerning payment of workers salary in recent times, but that seem to be the only criticism I hear about him. These days, I still see news of him commissioning projects in Osun state.

Gov Ayodele Fayose seems to be the most vocal of all governors in Nigeria. Though I haven't seen a project commissioned by him other than a borehole and streetlights, he still makes Nigerians remember Ekiti state.


There are some governors who make it seem like their states aren't governed by anybody at all. I hardly hear news of any sort from their states. Could it be that we don't hear from them cos there is nothing in terms of development to show? Below are some of them.
