Happy birthday the class captain ..

Like every other day, I came on Nairaland this morning and it was more of bad news than the good ones on FP......even though there were good news, I didn't notice, because the shadow of bad news had covered the light the good news could have brought to my heart.

I got so worried and felt like something should just carry and throw me in a more peaceful and organized country.


Personally, sometimes I compare the stagnation and regression encountered in building the tower of Babel to building Nigeria as a nation and I think Nigeria is more confused and dismembered than the people who were building the tower of Babel.

Lets come to think of this....when God scattered the language of the people building the tower of Babel, they couldn't understand each other, they couldn't make progress, so they stopped.

Likewise Nigeria, when the white men who ruled as a unit and colonized us left us in charge, things went South... everyone wanted to rule, everyone was after his own selfish interest.

Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba, they all wanted to rule and it has been the same ever since. There hasn't been progress ever since.
The main reason why I said Nigeria is more dismembered is because we also have issues with Religion. Today you hear bombing North, tomorrow you hear kidnapping South.


A Yoruba man could either be a Christian or a Muslim, same for an Hausa man and most Igbos are Christians......even among the Yorubas or Hausas, there could still be religious crisis....take the current situation in the North as an example.

In my own opinion, I don't think Nigeria as a nation will ever work well......cos 2 will never work together except they agree...not to talk of 3 of which each of them is divided into 2.


So my people what's your opinion about Nigeria in relationship with the tower of Babel?
