Amberon11: There is a difference in what you believe and the actual truth.
Ask any doctor you know that or use Google and you will find out that there are cases that defy medical odds happening quite frequently. Examples of such cases include a clinically certified dead person coming back to life or a wombless woman being delivered of a baby. wombless woman delivered of a baby? It's likely a hematoma - blood clot under the skin and it usually goes on its own (reabsorbed by the body).

Kamikaze, suicide attack... It's the same thing. The pics do not look like an accident. Especially with that severed hand in one of the pics. Looks like the person was blown in pieces.
Kamikaze is Japanese for suicide bombers in the 2nd world war. They flew missile planes into their target, dying in the process. |

tojahh: If you've not even been this close, you'll open your mouth against these migrants. Yes I've been there, I went thru kano-Niger-Agadez-Duruku-Tripoli. It was a 2 months journey, stayed at Tripoli for 6months, was scammed of almost all my money by a Burger which the promise of crossing thru a vegetable ship (Balloon). After I lost all, couldn't cope as most of my guys went into begging and robbery to feed. I worked at a barber shop and earn 6$ everyday which was enough to feed and pay rent(we pay rent everyday).
I was not around when the house was bursted and everyone was taken to the prison facility on Sabha. Was my Kenyan friend that adviced me to leave Tripoli that night. He gave me 100$ and my boss gave me 100. I slept in the shop that night then the following day I worked at a car wash, raised some money for 2 days and I had to declare asylum and pledge to return to Nigeria my fathers land. They transported us in a land rover (16 persons) to port hay (east of Tripoli) we were handed over to police who facilitate our return.
My brother e no easy I tell you... Hell sef go hungry you pass. And yes am Edo. wow! See what you escaped. I'm happy for you bro. |

SmartyPants: Na bro this has little to do with our leaders. Didn't you read the part where a young man was dashed $700 to do a business and instead decided to use it to travel? Na... the problem is not with our leaders on this particular issue. I agree. People like to blame the government for everything, including our own bad decisions. It's greed and a misinformed view of the world that leads many to cut corners to try to make it big. |

Jeez! Sad reality. I wish those thinking of making the same journey would get to read this.
Problem with the majority of persons is that they hate people who tell them the bare truth. As far as they know, those are the haters that wish them bad. They want to hear that they would succeed no matter how unwise their course of action is.
After that nightmare experience, Nigeria is now a beautiful place to be back in. How ironic!
One doesn't have to put his hand in fire to know that it burns. |

Griezmann also impressed me very much. Number 2 on my 2016 list. Was unfortunate to not win trophies with Atletico and France.

Kunlexic: Dont just vituperate some1 u didnt know who he is and iam sure the provost will have born you 10x . Don't you see the uploaded picture of the screening summary report? this stupid sentimental nature is the reason Nigeria is this backward. A person is wrong and instead of calling him out you start telling the world how old he is? Who cares? Do you know how old I am? Regardless of his age, he cannot use a calculator properly. That's a shame considering his position. If you don't see anything wrong with that, well that's your business. We have pushed away our best brains for too long. |
Education › Re: Provost Of Health Sciences Oau Gives Reasons Why Mrs Aror Wasnt Admitted by toothyGrin: 10:38am On Dec 23, 2016 |
thinkative: regarding the ranking. she ranked 103 among the jambites. 100 students were admitted in all for medicine. but those 100 were not all jambites. direct entry admissions were included. ur logic here does not take the direct entries into consideration.
and I don't think its nice to call the provost names. he should be applauded for showing concern (if its really is true that the reply is from him). most university dons I know wouldn't care a hoot cos they know there's nothing anyone can do about it in this Godforsaken country! they made an error in her grading and are making up excuses for it, and the world should be giving them a pat on their backs. It's his job to show concern for issues that could give his institution a bad name. He's paid heavily for it. |

Nonsense! First of all, the provost does not know his basic arithmetic. Those grades he listed amounts to 50 points for 8 subjects. Now he repeated physics (where she scored her lowest) twice instead of adding the 8th subject. So her points should be somewhere above 50, which would give her at least 78.13% for O'level and 80% for UTME. On aggregate with that score, she'd turn out to score 79% which is above their cut off. Then he said she ranked 103 on the list of those who chose medicine as first choice (based on her wrongly calculated scores). In the same breath he added that there are 56 candidates who scored higher than her but didn't make the cut-off. So it means they gave admission to the best 46 candidates and handpicked 54 others who didn't rank as high as 103. Shame on this provost who doesn't know basic arithmetic! Shame on these Nigerian universities. |

Someone give this babe a scholarship to study abroad. If I had the power to, I would have. The young lady is brainy. She shouldn't be hustling to get into these whack schools which aren't even amongst top 10 in Africa.
That's how these stupid Nigerian universities reject good brains in favour of staff relatives and politicians' children, and the rejected ones go on to shatter records in foreign universities. |
Romance › Re: Why We Women Aren't Attracted To Men Who "LOVE" Us by toothyGrin: 9:55am On Dec 21, 2016 |
I read every word, and I'm not impressed.
Basically you beat aimlessly around the bush 98% of your post. Whoever the original writer of this article is, that is. There was no new answer to the question of why ladies do not like guys who are obsessed with them. Almost feels like you simply wanted to show show of the 'new' concept you think invented - needy love.
You also made alot of surprising assumptions. When did desire for sex become a 'love emotion'? What makes you think that when a guy sees a girl and wants to sleep with her, he is in love?
Then there is unnecessary generalization, lots of it. What makes you think every girl wants the same thing - a man to love who shouldn't love them in return? You can only speak for yourself.
The meat of your whole post is that guys that are needy turn girls off, which is true. Most persons, regardless of gender would be turned off by an overly needy person. However, you didn't state any real reason why, besides the usual "ladies want what they can't have."
When you say women are disgusted by needy love but are needy in their love too, you paint all ladies a bunch of confused souls who are incapable of seeing beyond their own emotions wrapped around them like onion layers.
In all, it wasn't really worth the read. You could have made your point in far fewer paragraphs, seeing as you really didn't have any new point to make. |
