My own father attested to the fact, that's enough proof for me, let no one deceive you.
There ain't no way your own father, even grand father can tell you for sure unless you are 100 years old. For Gods sake, slave trade stopped in the 19th century(around 1860).

1. Right from the word go you shld have an idea what you want her for; a serious contender for future partner or just a FWB while you look out for the real woman. If she's in the FWB bracket you're extra careful because getting her preg is the last thing you want. That's why there are condoms.

2. Forget it, once FWB forever an FWB. Nothing more will happen unless i get struck by lightening.
It's people that talk like this that usually get shortchanged by an undercover love. I hope you are being sarcastic sha.
RomanceRe: Fwb? by TopBooty(op): 9:59pm On Apr 27, 2008
Impossible. Once she drops into the FWB bracket she never comes out
Things change, people change and sometimes the way you define people might change if you really make time to know them. If some people can marry a stripper, why can't you consider your fck buddy?

Again, what if she gets preggy?
Christianity EtcRe: Indigenous Religion by TopBooty(op): 9:57pm On Apr 27, 2008
Check your history books!!!!!!! My great great grandfather partook in it.
Who wrote down what happened during slavery? Your uneducated great grand father or the white man himself? What makes you think he'll attest to the truth in the book for future references?
Christianity EtcRe: Indigenous Religion by TopBooty(op): 9:56pm On Apr 27, 2008
@ topic.

I learned in primary school about the missionary Mary Slessor who stopped the killing of twins in Calabar and I do not have to offer sacrifices (both animal and human) to please a god.
Did they also teach you that oyibo kidnapped jaja of opobo(probably from ibo or calabar) at the same time  because he questioned their invasion of their land?
Christianity EtcRe: Indigenous Religion by TopBooty(op): 9:53pm On Apr 27, 2008
i don't know any babalawo that speak in tongues
What then will you call all those tadatadatada they speak to conjure the spirits? Nigerian language? What is speaking in tongues?
Christianity EtcRe: Indigenous Religion by TopBooty(op): 9:52pm On Apr 27, 2008
mmhh slavery? I don't think we needed western religion to gladly sell our brothers into slavery, it was quite voluntary.
Did we sell them all or were they kidnapped?
RomanceFwb? by TopBooty(op): 9:43pm On Apr 27, 2008
FWB means friends with benefits.

Ever had one? What do you think will make a woman agree to have such male friends? Is it becoming a pop culture in Nigeria?

If you are a guy, will you ever consider proposing to a woman that was your FWB?
PoliticsRe: Kwara Imports 800 Cows From SA. by TopBooty(op): 9:40pm On Apr 27, 2008
If cows are not producing enough milk, then something is wrong somewhere. I think they need to do a lot of investigation on the cows they have now and try to make it work.
No, just like you breed some fowls for meat and some specially for eggs, Cows can be genetically modified to produce milk in quantities that are higher than normal.
PoliticsRe: Kwara Imports 800 Cows From SA. by TopBooty(op): 9:37pm On Apr 27, 2008
In today's advanced world, these things pose little problem as companies breed specifically for clients and their location. Take for instance Obasanjo's farm. The farm inputs breeders from all over the world, even the usa which we know is not really on the equator. Many farms in africa now import from as far away as china. I believe this is a big move in a positive direction, keeping in mind that this is a private move and not government but chances are high that they did their homework on both sides.
You may have a point if this is a private deal and has nothing to do with govt but I must tell you that if the govt has a hand in this, they are in it for the profits from the deal and not the milk.  As such, they can arrange and execute the cow business in one week. No be Naija? Again, Will you blame SA if they sold you cows that will eventually die? Will you refuse to sell your goods because the buyer may end up not getting a better deal especially when the buyer is as notorious and rich as Nigerians?
PoliticsRe: Kwara Imports 800 Cows From SA. by TopBooty(op): 9:32pm On Apr 27, 2008
Glad you added that cause I went searching for more information on this and how the Kwara state government is now involved in diary farming. Question though, why in the world is this being announced by the commissioner and not the farm personnel if this is actually a private deal?? I mean how did the government get into this one?? Considering the money came from the bank and not the government and it is really privately owned. I want to understand how deep the government's hands go when it comes to private companies in that country.
I wonder o; You just spoke my mind.
RomanceRe: Romance And Social Class by TopBooty(op): 9:30pm On Apr 27, 2008
Trust me it works both ways (guys n girls)
True, but most guys don't necessarily consider social class as long as the woman is preety enough for them with correct boobs.
RomanceRe: Romance And Social Class by TopBooty(op): 9:28pm On Apr 27, 2008
it's only black people that looks at class. the quuen of England married someone less than her, imagine a queen marrying a prince and not a king and she is the head of many countries today.
Margaret Thatcher was a prime minister for so many years. If that was any of my sistas am sure you would have got rid of the man self becouse you are no longer compatable. Same applies to men.

LOOK AT THE TRUE MEANING OF LOVE AND STOP THE CRAP. YOU LOVE SOMEONE BECAUSE YOU WANT TO BE WITH THEM NOT BECAUSE OF THEIR BLOODY SOCIAL CLASS. NO WONDER THERE ARE SO MANY ROBBERS TODAY.

CLASS THIS ,CLASS THAT, ALL IS VANITY. HAPPINESS IS MOST IMPORTANT.
That's a faulted argument. White people practice the social class system very well. I hope you know that it's not only money that defines a social class. Did you even check why most noble white families will rather die than allow their son marry a jew, hispanic or black?
RomanceRe: Baby Mama Drama by TopBooty(op): 9:26pm On Apr 27, 2008
baby mother is baby mother.

I don't see how drama or issues can be avoided here.

Even if the baby mother wants the guy back, well, they have a child together, and no sane woman would attempt to come between a man and his own child.

if the guy assures you nothing is going on between them for now, then until he proves otherwise, you just have to trust him, since there's really little else you can do.

Some guys will stray regardless. Whether they have baby mamas or not.

At this point, I really don't see any quick solution to the problem. Just make sure you enquire about the child's welfare and wish him/her well. Send get well cards, gifts, whatever.

Since people have many reasons for breaking up in the first place, his baby mama could occupy a very ambiguous position in his emotions. Its hard to tell.
Good one.

RomanceRe: Romance And Social Class by TopBooty(op): 7:56pm On Apr 27, 2008
it's funny the women so hung up on equality have no problem spewing gender roles about men being providers and protectors when it suits them.
That's one of the advantages of the freeworld.
RomanceRe: Baby Mama Drama by TopBooty(op): 7:07pm On Apr 27, 2008
@Topbooty

You are at fault, what are you doing with a man that has a baby by another woman?? Why don't you give them a chance to see if they can get back together and so that the baby can have his/her father by their side. This is another form of child abuse. Can't you get your own man?? what the heck is going on in our society?? All this Baby mama/ Baby daddy Bull crap used not to be in our society.
Please o, first it's not me.
2nd, if a man had a baby with a woman, does that mean they must marry? If a relationship didn't work, must you make it work by force because there is a baby involved?
Does that mean the man must stay single for life because another woman had a baby for him?

3rd, it's been in our society just that in the olden days, thepractice of polygamy absorbs lots of baby mamas but now polygamy is no more en vogue, baby mamas abound everywhere.

Is Lola Omotayo not pregnant for Psquare? what will she be? baby mama? what about Tuface and his serial baby mamas? baby mamas has been in every culture and town before Jesus was born.

every woman wants her child to have a father. maybe she wants the man back .
but as long as she dose not get a new daddy for her baby she will not stop calling.
even a married woman calls her husband at work when the baby is sick.
every woman with her first baby is insecure.
is it not i nigerian tradition that mama in law comes to stayhuh
Majority but not all women sha. Those ones that got fertilized at the sperm bank sure don't need a father for their babies.

the Oba of benin is worse in my opinion. monarchies should be eradicated or at least made ceremonial
Ooni of Ife is a drug dealer abeg.
PoliticsRe: Haba (!), Deji Of Akure? by TopBooty(f): 5:35pm On Apr 27, 2008
I think Deji of Akure should not be blamed, he has judged wisely.
I don't think so but I still don't think this is enough to cast aspersions on him like what I've been reading here.
PoliticsRe: Kwara Imports 800 Cows From SA. by TopBooty(op): 5:30pm On Apr 27, 2008
The cows we have in Nigeria are all looking hungry and malnourished,  we need more of those better cows
Cows from adamawa and Co are not looking hungry abeg just that they are not genetically engineered for milk like the imported ones. I don't know why they didn't import calves anyway or are they scared of them dying? May be another state will embark on importing goats and dogs very soon.

and most men who don't show it,still cheat and do watever they want,as long as im a wife ,its better to show love when im a wife dan showing love to a lover(boyfriend as we all know it)i don't see any big deal in putting so much in my marriage and been a good wife
What makes you think that showing too much love to a boyfriend is not right while to a husband is right?
RomanceRe: Baby Mama Drama by TopBooty(op): 5:24pm On Apr 27, 2008
If there are distress calls every week and the child doesn't have a vital illness, then yes. It means she is ill-equipped to take care of the child.
Your phone records will not show"distress call", rather, it'll show that she called you once or twice during an unGodly hour per week and I'm yet to see a judge that will overturn a custody hearing based on that. Judges usually look at medical history especially mental, drug abuse etc Others that can be considered by the court are too difficult to prove. For eg, it's difficult to prove that your child is being abused sexually even when he/she is saying it. History has shown that kids are told to do so most times and prosecutors knows how to put fear in them. Finally, If you suspect that Okafor charges are going on between your man and his EX, your best bet may be to allow unGodly visits as a couple and not him alone. Men are wolves.

Ohh! you're even married to the guy or you trying to use that to prick me? lol Seriously, you think I pity u? Hell no. Instead I pity the baby mama.

Like I said, if u were in her shoes you'll feel that ruptured blister too.
Didn't they Bleep to have the baby? What makes you think they'll stop? Cause he's married to you? lol
Who said it's me? Does it mean that if two people make a baby, they must marry by force? it didn't work out between them, he left and made a commitment to another woman,so it's up to him to live up to it besides, why are you pitying the baby mama who is clearly causing trouble in this relationship?

CultureRe: Other Tribes(Youraba etc) Marries At Early Stage Than The Igbos Men Why? by TopBooty(f): 8:15am On Apr 27, 2008
its obvious you're igbo too so we should be telling ourselves kpele, but d kpele should be more on your side, because i have not brought up a thread like this before, but u just brought it out and its obvious u have a thing against d igbo guys, maybe one has broken your heart, and mind u im not fighting for d igbo men,im only using my marriage as an example,my husband was not old and grey when we married, rather he was very young, and so was i,so there was no time for a heartbreak for me ,so don't conclude about this age of a thing, because i know lots of them that got married very early
The igbos I know here married around 30 which is appropriate. One other thing I noticed about them is they see marriage as a very divine thing that should be everlasting. Good for them sha. I still think their style is better than the northerners that marry at 19 and before they are 30, they already have 3 wives.
