Why is the society more tolerant on lesbian women than gay men? Lots of people frown at gay men but turn around to only raise an eyebrow on lesbian women. Is it because women are higher in number(according to world statistics, except china) and having more lesbians will reduce the number of women competing for a man? or is it a sexist thing? |
bY hAHAHA,Best response yet. It's only a blind man that will not see that there is a big difference betweeen Northern Nigerians and southern Nigerians. I personally think that Northern Nigeria will do better if they merge with Niger and Chad because they are technically the same type of people. Southern Nigerians are more akin to majority of the Ghananians and Camerounians, |
A real man is someone who is able to take care of himself, his lady and still got some saved up , not a man feeding from mouth to mouthSome men that feed from mouth to mouth cannot help it and I don't think it necessairly makes them not real. |
who ever said marriage between people of different social class don't exist or is doomed to fail need to wake up. only the stuck up, lazy and people who munch off papa and mama do and think like that. well most of themI think what they are saying is that men always have this inferiority complex in them if the women belong to a higher social class, as such, the marriage fails. |

List the names you like so much. i.e names you wouldn't mind to give to your children or just generally love. What of the names you detest so much? |
a bottle of cold starTell all these Nigerians oh because all the drinks they quote here are hardly seen in Naija pubs. |
when moral virtues of the children fall then the parents are obviously to be blamed for "good" teaching, If we continue in this manner, i just wonder whether our so called parents who have been ruling this country will expect us to now bell the cat when the center can no longer hold.word |
HOW ON EARTH WOULD A MAN GO FOR SOMEBODY THAT IS ABOVE HIS SOCIAL AND ROMANCE CLASS? THE MARRIAGE WILL CERTAINLY CRASH.Some marriages like that survived. What if the difference betweeen their social class is not that much? |
To All The Pizza Lovers Here: PIZZA WILL CLOG YOUR ARTERIES BEFORE LONG; STAY OFF THAT POISON OR AT LEAST EAT THE VEGETABLE ONES. |
How many people have the so called electricity in DRC, Cameroun and even Ghana? Electricity is a luxury in those countries and the bills are as high as what is obtainable in the west. Privatisation will be a good step towards alleviating our power woes but are the Nigerian citizens ready to pay the difference when the bills start coming? |
Am sorry oh but I can't not date/marry anyone below my level. My future plan is to proceed forward not backwardsA man below your level can still move higher with time as long as he has prospects, can't he? Are you suggesting that those men that married women that are lower in their social class made a big mistake? |
Bannanas and plantains are high calorie foods. It's not advisable for you if you have a weight problem. |
I hope our leaders listen to them and repent from their stealing sins. |
Great Religious body prays for rain From Saxone Akhaine, Kaduna THE apex Great Religious body in the north, the Jama'atu Nasril The Great Religion (JNI) has attributed the late coming of rains in the northern states to the sins and other social vices of Nigerians, while directing all Great Religious Ulamas to immediately engage in unrelenting prayers. advertisement In a communique issued by the JNI yesterday, the religious body pointed out that unless there was ceaseless prayers by religious leaders, the consequences that may visit the people for lack of rain this season could be devastating. The communique which was signed by the Public Relations Officer of the body, Malam Umar Zaria Ahmad urged Nigerians to desist from all social vices in order to pave way for rainfall. "The Ulamas were also called upon to intensify prayers for timely and adequate rainfall but warned Nigerians to desist from all vices". Besides, the body argued that the recent meeting chaired by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji The Great Prophet Sa'ad Abubakar III, noted the high cost of food items across the country, saying that the situation is disturbing to both the government and Nigerians. The Moslem leaders however urged the government to, as a matter of urgency, "arrest the situation from further deteriorating. "This includes appropriate preparation to mobilize farmers to produce more food by timely provision of farm inputs with subsidy". On the issue of labeling The Great Religion as promoting terrorism, the group stated that the accusation was baseless. "The meeting rejects in unequivocal terms the lebelling of The Great Religion or Moslems as terrorists, especially by the western countries". It also condemned the continued suffering of Moslems World-wide and prayed for God's "intervention to alleviate their sufferings". http://odili.net/news/source/2008/apr/24/25.html |
Not overly much concerned because i don't like the thing too much sef. . .i like my poundo and eba just fine. That one don increase too. My only problem with the food prices is that while it may come back to normal everywhere, it can never go down again in Naija. Whatever goes up in Nigeria, hangs there even if you bring a ladder for it. |
How ex-gov Peter Odili, Anenih, Onyuike-Okereke, others got oil blocs - DPR By Otei Oham, Correspondent, Abuja Former Rivers State Governor, Peter Odili, Senator Lee Maeba (PDP, Rivers), former Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Tony Anenih, and former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara, are among those who got oil bloc contracts between 2005 and 2007, a report by the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) said. Another former senator who equally benefited oil bloc contracts, the report added, is David Dafinone, an accountant. Director of DPR, Tony Chukwueke, had forwarded the report, tagged "DPR 2005, 2006 Mini, 2007 Bid Rounds," to the National Assembly just as members of House of Representatives resolved on Tuesday to probe the agency, alongside the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for alleged discrepancies in their operations since 1999. Members of the House Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) are currently studying the report, which they said on Wednesday would be useful to the 26-man panel raised by the House to conduct the probe. A member of the panel, Halims Agoda, who moved the motion to quiz the two agencies, said members were set to begin the probe, and there would be no sacred cow. Those the DPR report also named as beneficiaries of the contracts are the Director General of Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE), Ndi Onyuike-Okereke, late Senate President, Evan Enwerem, wife of late Head of State, Ajoke Murtala Mohammed, and those it simply identified as Bayelsa Chiefs. According to the report, the Rivers State Government, under Odili's administration, used Zerock Oil and Gas Ltd while Bauchi State Government, under Adamu Mu'azu, used Radiant Oil and Gas Ltd as local content vehicle companies to acquire deepwater bloc contracts. The oil blocs, the report stated, are in the Chad Basin, Benue Trough, Anambra Basin, Niger Delta Onshore and Continental Shelf, and Deep Offshore. http://odili.net/news/source/2008/apr/24/702.html |
Why do most ladies feel belittled and reluctant to date a man who belongs to a social class lower than theirs but guys don't have a problem doing the same as long as the girl in question is lovely? Could it be that women are more picky and materialistic than men? Do you think that social class should balance averagely for two people to have a successful relationship? In Nigeria, ' abeg go find your level' is a slogan frequently used by more women than men when it comes to relationships. Am I wrong? |
