Pls has anyone been to this country before Hungary, pls how friendly is the country, I got a conference invitation there, is it a country where one can Japa to and how easily can one get a job there, I want to use conference as a means to travel to get a job and stay there pamanently from Nigeria, is it advisable ?
The second question is can one easily navigate to other countries from there,
Thanks expecting your response
Bro I will advise you sincerely because I have first hand experience in Hungary. Years ago I lived in Budapest Hungary for 4 years, it's a very difficult country to survive as a foreigner due to language barrier, weather, economic is not buoyant compare to other western Europe countries, few blacks reside in the country managing themselves.

The citizens are struggling themselves to survive, some of the citizens go to neighbouring countries to work like Austria that they share borders with.

If you are not careful you might be forced to engage in illegal activities for survival.

If you are bend on embarking in this journey I will advise you to look into student visa route atleast you can work part time for sure especially from there you can figure out what next to do. I can connect you to a friend of mine that is redeemed a pastor that is if you eventually get to Hungary on a student visa.

Have a thorough thought about this and make the decision that best suits you. I Wish you the very best in whatever decision you make.

Guess you wanted to reply me. I haven't found any. I don't even know where to start or where to focus on. Zero knowledge about London and all it entails. So I need someone to advise on affordable locations not too far from work however E1 out totally of consider as accommodation is too pricey there.[/quote]Everywhere in London & the surrounding is quite expensive , well it also depends on your budget . You can stretch your search towards Tilbury, Grays, Purfleet they are close proximity to E1.

Hey people, if anyone is interested in getting some items from Nigeria delivered in 2 weeks time, feel free to let me know. My friend is coming and has two 23kg free luggage boxes (not bringing much because she wants to do bulk shopping). If you need anything (must be bought by her in supermarket, stores etc.. , she will not be accepting pre-packed items from your family or friends) just send the list and you will only need to make payment when your goods are delivered to you in UK ( serious and genuine people only should reply, no time wasters or fraud thanks).
Thank you. Can your friend help me get Mayonnaise in the supermarket?
I will need four (4) of the big size if that's possible & please let me know the total cost of it . The picture is attached below . Thank you very much 🙏

I'm happy for you though however people choose popular destinations due to so many reasons like no language barriers, diversity, sense of belonging , long term goal. I wish you a successful journey all throughout your stay in Chile!

I’ve never actually seen you share anything good about Nigerians as you must find a way to interweave a negative to buttress your point. Nairaland is a very public forum and when people google things about a country, this is part of what they see.

Big man I am interested in this topic because I don't follow religion anymore I believe more in humanity but my question is this :

If our forefathers were so powerful and highly spiritual as you said why were the colonists able to conquer them and enslave people.
Why did our forefathers decided to embrace the way of the west.
We have a long way to go because we are totally lost as a people.

@The man being oppressed by his wife, I'm sorry to be that guy but it's key someone cuts through this Hakuna matata nonsense some seem to be peddling here.

You must not allow anyone gaslight you into thinking there's anything normal about what your wife is doing. It's not your fault in any way even if you were the sole breadwinner back home. You did your role as best you could in those circumstances and now that circumstances have changed only someone diabolical will demand that you kill yourself with overwork and high blood pressure because you want to continue a trend.

It's also irrelevant if some people run things that way in their own homes. They chose to do so as a couple. You on the other hand are being conscripted into being a perpetually poor labourer.

The crucial factor here is not about the money. It's about the fact that your wife is blackmailing you financially, immigration-wise and emotionally. In fact the repeated emphasis on how she 'brought you here’ is an extreme red flag that shows she’s an abuser, before we begin to consider the refusal to tell you how much the debt is so you can contribute all while insisting you suffer financial hardship for an indeterminate period of time, presumably until such a time as she deigns to unshackle you at her leisure.

I don’t know the solution to your marital dispute as a whole, but I know that the solution to your being oppressed is to free yourself from her control, which in this case is being tied to her visa. She has all the leverage and no incentive to meet you halfway as things stand. Get your own visa and then have a discussion to try to fix your marriage overall. You’ll share she’s more reasonable then.

Do whatever you can. Speak to your work people and even apply to other roles with sponsorship if you must. In the meantime ensure you’re l constantly trying to make her see reason, but don’t slack on your plan B.

Best of luck.

PS. All the above is based on the assumption that you have told the whole truth here sha. If not and there’s something you have done or are doing that’s made your wife this way, please put all efforts into mending fences.
Well done 👏 . @ Op I'm begging you to listen to the above advice.

All I'm saying is that the way you do your jokes sometimes it's out of line, people may not tell you and some people may feel you're making mockery of them.

Honestly! The one surprising me is the ‘friend’ that came here to be laughing and sharing emojis about the possibility of her friend abusing his wife and/or being incarcerated.

And this is the same thread people want everyone to indirectly make their identities known. So that next time their ‘friends’ will be using their matters and real life identities to catch cruise in front of the whole world until the wrong eyes put two and two together.
I wonder ooh brother, some people just enjoy catching cruise with other people stories just in the name of "spicing upthe thread", that's very unfair.

I pity the person that brings such here to seek advise from some that don't have joy in their heart.
