Jackass or Jackal, w'ever!  angry

U can say wateva u wish, Talk is cheap!!! angry

This was far from Arsenal’s best performance of the season but it did illustrate, perhaps more than any other game this term, the type of qualities we possess to win the title, I didn't see Manyoo do that today!!! I respect Fergie as a manager, but today, he flopped big time!!! He definitely shd learn frm Wenger!! grin

AIG - Arsenal Is Good!!!  grin grin grin

Nairaland GeneralNairaland Is No. 1 Website In Nigeria by topkin(op): 10:02pm On Dec 28, 2007
Congratulations Seun Osewa!!!   cheesy cheesy

In the spirit of counting our achievements at the end of the year, I took a trip to www.alexa.com to rate Nairaland and I was ecstatic at what I saw.

Off all NIGERIAN websites (websites owned by Nigerians) visited, Nairaland made No. 1 and overall made No. 17 of all websites (both foreign & Local) visited in Nigeria. --- http://www.alexa.com/site/ds/top_sites?cc=NG&ts_mode=country&lang=none

Seun congratulations once again. You are one of the most popular Nigerians!!! Suffice to say that you merit this and the sky is your limit. I'm an addicted Nairaland member and will continue to be. It will also surprise you to know that off all the thousands (probably millions) of websites in the UK, Nairaland ranks No. 4,850 and No. 21,859 in the US!!! That is a staggering position, it really makes me happy!!! --- http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details/nairaland.com

You need to go through these staticstics, it is purely wonderful to know over 31,000 people visit Nairaland daily!!!

Seun, props to you. You have made Nigerians proud and may God richly bless you. All hail NAIRALAND!!!  cheesy cheesy cheesy wink
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nairaland Admin Questions and Answers by topkin(m): 11:58pm On Dec 26, 2007
Seun, when you post a new topic, how do you tag it "New" and is there a way u can make it more noticeable/give it a high priority level?

Why do some posts make the home page and some don't, especially if the one that does not make it to the home page is a replica of one that was posted before?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Your New Year Resolutions For 2008? by topkin(m): 11:42pm On Dec 26, 2007
I think New Year Resolution is a culture that was handed down to us by generations past. The reason why people don't keep it is because the society/economy is a dynamic one. The circustances surrounding when a resolution was made will differ later hence resulting to an envisaged plan not being attained.

Personally, I think daily resolutions endure more than new year resolutions.
CultureNew Year Resolutions: Is It Necessary? by topkin(op): 2:22pm On Dec 26, 2007
Have you ever made a New Year Resolution and kept to it or achieved it? Partially or fully? Do you think it's necessary to make one? I have seen people make it and have never been able to fulfil it/them. Is it just the culture?

I guess I'm of the opinion that Daily Resolutions endure better than Yearly resolutions.

Let's have your view.
ComputersRe: Problem: Some Websites Not Opening With Starcomms by topkin(m): 10:59pm On Dec 24, 2007
Funny enof I don't use any of Starcomms/Reltel or any CDMA. I stick wit my Glo line and alternate it wit MTN at times. I prefer the MTN though cos of the speed but I use the Glo more often cos their GPRS network is seldom down. They are not perfect either though, but I have the flexibility of using it anywhere I travel to, even in my Village where I am now.

So maybe u guys should try them. It's N12,000 monthly. Cheers

InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by topkin(m): 4:26pm On Dec 22, 2007
KINDLY ADVISE ME PLEASE:

I have some good cash now which I would like to divert into the stock market hopefully next week and I'm hoping to use the cash by Feb/March next year. I don't just want the cash to lie there, so I want to make some returns on it, at least, before I really need it. I'm hoping to make @ the least 50% gain on the investment.

Pls, kindly advise me on the stocks i can buy now so i can make some good returns by Feb/March next year. Especially penny stocks/companies that are closing their books by this month or next. Thanks
CareerRe: Best Place To Start A Career? by topkin(m): 3:59pm On Dec 22, 2007
I don't tink there is actually a particular place to start up one's career. Basically it depends on you and your orientation. Some people won't mind starting "small" (believing you shouldn't neglect small beginnings), while some (like me) will not settle for less. I turned down some offers even WHILE I WAS STILL SEARCHING cause i believed it was not a good start for me. Its not the company name that matters but you as an individual and your prospects in that company. You may get a job that has nothing to do with your career and you see no way it would mould u or even come close to moulding u into the individual u want to become.

I believe you should just be focused and know what you want and don't waste time to go for it. Best of luck wink
Nairaland GeneralRe: Please Ban Me Before Nairalanders Kill Me With Their Ninglish by topkin(m): 1:35pm On Dec 21, 2007
I must confess the way people construct their grammar, use and spell words on this site is terrible. Sometimes I wonder what type of institutions they attended and where they learnt their English! It devastates me to read some sentences atimes, it's really poor, very poor. sad

The spellcheck option is there to correct errors, people should put it more into efficient use. Maybe it will help.

make una no dey kill us for this site!!! angry
Nairaland GeneralRe: What Has Nairaland Done For You? by topkin(m): 9:28pm On Dec 19, 2007

RomanceRe: Trust In A Relationship: Should It Be 100%? by topkin(m): 12:07am On Dec 19, 2007
I believe TRUST is relative. It depends on the situation and the persons involved. U may trust someone wholeheartedly on certain aspects and not in some aspects. But basically it's not advisable to trust anybody 100%, even ur shadow.

Love all but trust none!!! wink
BusinessRe: So Much For The MTN Private Placement Offer! by topkin(m): 11:59pm On Dec 18, 2007

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by topkin(m): 11:24pm On Dec 16, 2007
Arsenal may not be the finished article just yet, but in recent games against Liverpool, United and now Chelsea we've proved we can breathe at the highest of altitudes. Gunners for Life!!!

Chelsea on the other hand had their moments in the game, but despite recent results this just isn't the Mourinho vintage. They used to be a machine, now they're just men. Eminently beatable men.
SportsAll Hail Arsenal! by topkin(op): 10:45pm On Dec 16, 2007
All Hail The Gunners!!! We have conquered our ENEMIES!!! Who said the Gunners are not gunning for the Top. Even if people believe we might not retain that TOP spot, we are savouring our WIN against the "Almighty Blues" who are not mighty afterall!!!

ManU watchout, u may be at the top, but it is just for a moment!!!

Arsenal for LIfe!!!
