Obasanjo achieved not only a breakthrough in the entertainment industry but the banking industry; telecommunications industry, manufacturing that eventually grew other industries.

Tinubu has killed the manufacturing industry as the breweries are on a loss making streak, aviation is gone, the telecommunications industry is in deep ICU with mtn , airtel and glo in loss after loss streaks, the banking institutions without forex is gone.

In a shot while eateries will be history, the national grid as at now is down. The transportation industry without fuel is serious strained. That construction industry is contracting . Lagos has lost most of the companies that made it what it used to be.

It’s a good demand for local businesses. They will have to up their competence and sanitary skills to match other international businesses that provide catering services to international flights. Definitely a good move if you ask me. It’s similar moves like this that ensured our entertainment industry rose to prominence within Africa. We used to waste resources flying to South Africa to shoot Music videos. Today all of that is done in Lag. Big Brother Naija used to be hosted in South Africa. Government directive made them bring it local and all the attendant benefits that have accrued from it

Oga use your brains. Patronize local caterers does not mean serve Iru or Amala. It means the food must be prepared in Nigeria by Nigerian caterers even if it is foreign meals. It means don’t come with your food prepared abroad for the outbound flight.
