Just know you always get what you pay for in renewable energy, if you pay too cheap you always get what you paid for in terms of it being unable to serve you properly. My inexpensive is not synonymous with very cheap. I simply mean reasonable, not on the high side. Especially if I go the DIY way. Example, sunking has an offering for 3 bulbs for 38k. I'll achieve same for far less. Thanks still.

99K? I am sure I can DIY for about half the price and achieve same.

The 32" TV alone consumes about 40-60w plus Gotv 12-18w
That's 78w using the upper range.
A 100ah costing about 40-50k should power these for about 6hrs all things being equal.
You will need an inverter which you can get for 15 -20k and an external charger for about 10k-15k (or do you want to use solar?)

I have already installed two 10 watts panels(parallel), 12v 7ah battery, 10amp cc and five 5watts DC bulbs for light. I just want to incorporate inverter for TV.
It would have been easier/cheaper if the TV was a DC TV, then you will not need an inverter - only battery, external charger and DC bulbs.

I am contemplating 40-80watts panel, 300v modified sine wave inverter, and 40ah battery.

The bottom line for me is:
Just something that will carry TV for few hours if the need arises without affecting the ability to power bulbs too. Any suggestions/modifications?

You better off buying, say luminous 12v inverter about 50k with one 200ah battery at say between 70-90k. I guess it can serve or buy the 99k Luminous Delite Package

I want something inexpensive. My ma hardly watches TV so it is a waste to setup something large. I just want her to have light 24/7 and have means of powering TV if she decides to watch TV.

How much is this.

Thanks. I visited the link and was able to update myself. I saw it at a friends house and thought of buying for my mum due to it's compact nature. But 24ah battery? That is too small for 32" TV for a pensioner who will watch TV for long.

Pls what is the make of this. And is it an inverter or? Saw it somewhere with a small inverter placed on it.

1. preferably wash your panels very early in d morning before sun wake or late in d evening sun down. I don't wash panel when sunny.

2. what type of inverter that burnt d shop? I ask because people do or buy or install whatever they like or cheap cheap and call it inverter to give d business bad name

The usual mopping stick. If it isn't long enough, you can extend with some metal or wooden pole. Soak it well in water and/soap and scrub away.

Has anyone ever dismantled this sunking box? What battery is in it, Li-on?

This is dry season and I need to constantly clean my panels. Pls do I need to disconnect the panel from the CC before cleaning with water or I can just go ahead while still connected. My question may seem stupid as someone may ask me, "do you disconnect during rains or don't you know it's tantamount to rain falling on it?" I ask because splash ing water on it is sudden, cooling it almost immediately and it getting hot again in minutes unlike during rainfall when weather would have cooled it off first and then gradually heat up as sun come back up

Incidentally a medicine shop in my vicinity got burnt few days ago; story is the inverter caused it though i have not been able to get true gist. My colleagues who I've been advising on the beauty and sense in solar are now skeptical. How do I convince them?

Use an mc4 connector. If you don't know how get someone to. The money you think you are saving will still be spent when issue comes up. And trust me it won't be convenient.

You can't satisfy every customer but at least let the majority speak good about you. Sir, if you are about dealing a deal, no matter how the customer treats you, you will exercise patience because "na I'm pocket I wan pick, make I no allow village people spoil my show". Use that same patience for your after sales too. Pardon my saying it but your tone shows you as boastful and arrogant. What I deduce from your writeup is this: "how much is your money self, I deal in millions"

A seller who is accused of all these allegations should defend himself to safeguard his business interests.
