I guess you don't know anything about government, the arms of government are independent, the national assemblies have done their job through lobby, but for the president to assent to it, he's gonna consider so many things. Considering the fact the FG already has her own programme for creating job for unemployed youths gulping billions of naira, I.e Npower and the rest, I don't think the president will want to add another burden on his head...its the plain truth. Just last year NPF was told to recruit just 10,000 personnel even up till this moment, the exercise is yet to be complete and now we talk of peace corps who had trained up to 200,000 because the training actually started many year ago....where dem wan recruit them??

My broda d thing tire me. If u go to any of d offices of the civil defence around u'll jus laugh. Why not expand the scope of d civil defence and give dem more functions dat way dey'll employ more. It's clear d Peace corps thing is d brain child of some ppl somewhere as a form of compensation because it is yet to b justified in anyway.

They are not paying a dime...my sister was a trainee, after she was postedand expecting to be paid a stipend, I can tell you categorically that she has received nothing so far...she still takes care of transportation and other personal needs...PC is a fraud

It was very obvious that the national assemblies made it look real...those passages couldn't have been done without normal nigeria factor(money). All I know is one thing is for the bill to be passed and another thing is for it to be signed into law by the president...but like you said...there is gonna be role conflicts between them and civil defence
