Dabiri "Dabiri"(Da-bi-ri/Da-ibi-ri)  means "first to discover a place and settle in" in yorubaland. It was from the arabs the yoruba got the name from just like many other yoruba names like Haruna (fulani) sekiru etc

Dabiri is more or less used among the indigenes of lagos, they are used among the Aworis, Egun and Ijebus. Most other part of yoruba land do not use it.

my dear you are wrong, we have many dialects in Alaigbo e.g Onicha, Ikwerre, Ngwa, Awka, Asaba, Okija, Enugu etc,  Dabiri/Dabere means "lean on" in Igbo language.

my brother i agree with you about T.A Orji but saying the Abia is the most underdeveloped state in Nigeria is a fat lie. Dnt mis-judge Abia state becos of one m.o.r.o.n called T.A Orji, you need to visit state like Osun state and see what is called underdeveloped, even Nnewi(let alone Aba) is more developed than Osogbo the capital of Osun state, lets not just go to Northern states becos that regions is worst in terms of developing,  Back to Topic, i think Chimaraoke Mbadinuju a.k.a Odera is the worst governor to me.

I am laughing. If Gowon should be truthful, he is regretting today about the pogrom that he perpetuated to the people of Eastern Nigeria in the sixties. People are dying every year in the North including Youth Corpers about 3-4 Yoruba, 2 Igbos, and 1 Ijaw Youth Corpers were killed in the North during the recent election crisis, many Yorubas were killed in Jos recently, they dnt care about ur tribe as long as you are an infidel they will kill you once there is any crisis, instead of us to be agitating for Sovereign National Conference or even True federalism we are here comparing Ojukwu and Gaddafi, whether you like it or not Ojukwu is a hero to about 40million Easterners while Gaddafi was a tyrant to 4-5million Libyans that is the fact.
