they've changed the pattern. Now you must have an account with them before you can request for the card. I just opened an account

I applied for their Visa Prepaid Naira card yesterday without having an account with the bank.
The customer care said it will be available in the next three working days, she said she will call me once the card is available.

Their card is not instant like UBA Africard.

I still strongly believe paypal won't just wake up one morning and limit ur account(from my experience), they must have noticed something with it first.

I've been using my paypal account for close to two years now without any issue.
There are best practices when it comes to paypal and as long as u stick to those practices (from my experience) u are all good.

That ordinary $5 u are referring to is actually over 20 mins of audio that u spent ur precious time and effort transcribing..

Please, kindly share your experiences on how to avoid PayPal blocking someone's account.

If you are finding it difficult to get 5, 4 or even 3 ratings on QA platform, stop looking for someone to mentor you.
1. Go and read thoroughly:
a. QA FAQ that contains the rules, guidelines and the DOs and DON'Ts
b. QA Sample Transcripts.

2. Avoid calls with British accent, focus on American calls.

3. Duration for 3 mins call should be 1 hr, 6 mins call is 2 hrs, 9 mins is 3 hrs, and so forth.

4. Go to slack(query desk) and learn from people there.

5. Study sentence structure, punctuation, grammar, etc.

6. Always utilise google to get names of companies, brand, etc.

7. Look at the glossary for clues.

Looks like QA is overwhelmed. Lots of my calls have not been rated since last week plus ones I already did this week.

Do you transcribe short calls? Air strike calls are always like 15 mins call. They can waste release tokens like mad.
I noticed their calls always flood the platform around 5pm to 9pm.

Qa has been frustrating me lately. Right now I just spent two hours on a call, only for it to tell me the call has expired. And I had about 52 minutes left.

You left the call for a while? And also refresh your page while transcribing in order to always get the correct timing.

To be clear, the functionality you're describing is something we've had suggested to us. and I believe it's in development. We're very focused on building the best product in the space, but we still have to prioritise new features. To reiterate, you're looking for the ability to highlight multiple accounts and see the top metrics for all highlighted accounts. Is that right?

That's why there are no calls on queue. There's an avalanche of new entrants who just cheated their way in to make easy money Moments like this I can understand why Transcribeme and the other platforms make passing their test a really hard thing to achieve.
I have an unrated call that's 11 days old right now, which is unprecedented.
She basically said they're overwhelmed with transcripts, a lot of which is actually poor and stressing out the Qas.

Are you on Transcribeme? How is the platform? I'm trying to see if I can join them.

The branch I got mine also did address verification before they issued it out to me. Just let them verify, within one week or so, everything would be settled.

I think if you go with utility bill like NEPA bill, they won't do address verification.

I think transcription should be verbatim except when there is grammatical error then you can paraphrase.

My first 25 mins audio and I got 5 rating. But it is not easy. My body is aching me. I utilized the 8 hours time.

Sure. Phone is 100% convenient for me. I can just stroll to a cool environment, under a nice shade and transcribe while receiving fresh air. Lol

Please, what kind of browser do you use on your phone to transcribe, any method you are using to make phone convenient?

for people like me that use their phones or tablet for transcription. I found a new keyboard on Play store that combines the alphabet keys and also the desktop control keys. this will make it easier for you to type faster and also reduce the amount of time you switch interface while typing. the name of the keyboard is " Hacker's keyboard " it gives the user a chance to modified the layout to suit his job. is just 2mb on Play store. the screenshot below shows how it looks like on my phone.

Mine is different from yours.. did you make any changes when you downloaded it or is it not this one?
