Not everyone may be familiar with the name Mia Khalifa, but for those that watch adult films, she is quite popular and was once one of the most sought after porn stars in the world. In a new interview, the ex-porn star reveals why she stopped acting adult films.

She had an interview with Lance Armstrong, who was also a renowned cycling super star that got  banned for long-term doping, and got stripped of seven Tour de France titles. Well he currently run a Podcast and he is gaining more popularity with that.

Mia Khalifa however opened up to him saying porn career had to come to an end when she began to receive death threats, and not just from regular people, she got them from ISIS. The Lebanese-American concluded it was time to move on.
In one of the video she acted in, she was spotted wearing a hijab while performing her duties. This angered the terrorist group and they reached to her through social media, and issued some chilling death threats at her.
Mia explains to Armstrong: “They photoshopped a picture of me being beheaded and threatened that that would happen to me,” She further revealed that she had to be strong, not to show weakness, “Because you can’t show weakness. That’s exactly what [ISIS is] looking for. I really try and just make it look like it rolls off, but I’ll admit, it gets to you after a while.” Mia was featured on Lance Armstrong’s podcast that he describes as “how we Bleep up in life — either we Bleep up ourselves or life bleeps us up — and then we figure out a way to establish a base and move forward.”
Shocking enough, her porn career only lasted for about three months. It all started when someone approached her at Fuddruckers in Miami. She had just done her boob job and she felt it would be an avenue to make more money, she said to Armstrong. “I thought about it for two weeks and made the mistake of saying yes and going in. As soon as I started to gain popularity, that’s when I was like, ‘Get the Bleep out of this’ … this was not what I was trying to do whatsoever,” she revealed.
“I just wanted to let loose and rebel a little bit. It didn’t validate me. Nothing like that ever does. That’s not what you should be doing to try and build your self-esteem.”

She also tried to explain her motive for doing it, she was trying to rebel and let loose, and then she hit fame, but she came out of it pretty quickly too, thanks to the death threats from ISIS.

He is accused of carrying out the shooting rampage with a semiautomatic AR-15-style assault weapon that he legally purchased from a licensed gun dealer last year, when he was 18 years of age.

Nigerian Musician, Maleke Moye today dragged telecommunications giant, 9mobile to the Federal High Court Ikoyi presided over by Hon Justice Faji on allegations of intellectual property theft and commercial exploitation of the said stolen intellectual property.
Maleke who is the Edo State Chapter of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN sued the Telecoms company for the unauthorized used of his intellectual properties.

The suit which was recently instituted against the telecommunications giant is asking for the payment of damages to the tune of 500million Naira for the unauthorized copying, theft, sale and continuous resale for of sixteen different music tracks of Mr. Maleke as ring tunes on its website for a period upwards of seven years.
The plaintiff who spoke in court today lamented the huge financial loss he had suffered over the years due to the brazen display of recklessness by the telecommunications giant. He lamented further that all attempts to open communication channels with 9mobiles parent company were frustrated hence his resort to the law for remedy.
According to the artiste: “I am a performing artiste and I believe these are my intellectual properties being used by another organization without my consent. They thought I was no longer active in the industry and felt they had the liberty to use my materials without due consultation. We actually reached out to them for amicable settlement, but they refused to give me and my team any audience and so we dragged them to court. I believe the court will decide and justice will definitely prevail” Maleke went further to talk about the loss Nigerian artistes incur as a result of copyrights infringements on their materials: “It is quite unfortunate that a lot of Nigerian artistes don’t understand their rights and obligations in the industry. That is why we ask them to join associations and leagues, but no they would want to do it on their on. No organization has the right to use your property without having an agreement with you” The matter was adjourned till a later date for continuation of hearing.

He also raised the alarm over what he described as the enslavement of Nigerians in foreign countries through the activities of human traffickers, saying that the situation was an indication that something is clearly  “Wrong in the way we manage citizens’ security, border security as well as international cooperation and collaboration.”
He spoke yesterday in Benin City, Edo State, at the all stakeholders’ Senate Roundtable on Migration and Human Trafficking.
He said: “I must stress, however, that this is not a blame game. The idea is to collaborate in a responsible manner, to make certain that agencies in Africa, Europe and the wider world are not failing in their duties on this issue.
“Let me make it abundantly clear that Nigeria is willing to collaborate with all countries of the world on irregular migration. With our international partners, we should be able to work out a carrot-and-stick approach that gives our people the incentive to stay on the continent and thrive.
“Every human being deserves his or her own place under the sun and for many, that place under the sun is here, in Africa, but they have to stay in order to find it.”
