djpoepe: In this hustle, the win is actually in your ability to sell! You might even own a bad ass domain name but if you don’t sell it , then it doesn’t add value to either you or the end user. In that light I would suggest we talk more about ways of selling - buying domains is very easy actually and it can put someone in a trance of continuous buying ( even names that won’t probably sell) I support this. I see people come here to ask various questions ranging from buyers disappearing to buyers having the upper hand in the negotiation process. If a sales guru can put us through on ways to sell better, I believe it will go a long way. A sale is a sale when the buyer pays, not when an agreement is reached, not when he makes an offer, the sale is only closed when the buyer pays. |

ayomide32: guys I just received an offer of $1200 for my domain gamerinfinity.com what do you guys think it's value is $1800 If you believe you can get that $1800, then you might counter but you should have it at the back of your mind, the buyer might not accept your counter offer and even walk away, but at the same you will definitely get another buyer but it might not be quick. But $1800 to $1200 is just $600 difference, I will say accept the offer. |

tranxo: Lol. Nobody said you won't sell and report the sales. Here is a learning ground and those that observe/listen more often, pick up nuggets of wisdom from seemingly ordinary statements.
When geo domains are the consideration, certain countries TYPICALLY prefer their own extensions.
Australia - .com.au Canada - .ca UK - .co.uk South Africa - .co.za France - .fr/.eu Italy - .it/.eu Etc.
The question then is, would you rather spend money registering .com for these countries, or would you spend more wisely concentrating your purchases on extensions targeted at the right communities?
The choice is yours sha. Baba leave am, he will learn by force. I also had the same mindset when I started, I learnt through my errors, he will also learn. |

edeXede: October
Ashevillearborist/com Asking price: $350 Sold price: $300 Dan, held for 24hrs
Ocalaflooring/com This particular sale followed the same pattern of my previous sale. I have noticed this same situation on my sales. Short story: I outbounded this name to end user using dan as my marketplace with a price of $350. I got no reply from any but got a mail from afternic the nextday that it has been sold for $800. Since this is not the first time it is happening, I have come to the conclusion that enduser trust afternic more than dan. Most prefer to pay thrice the price on afternic than dan. I held this name for 24hrs. Domain has been transferred but money still pending.
November
SeattleEndodontist/com
Bought this name and outbounded in october ending but no reply
Sent a follow up last week for $205, got sold before sending all mail
Sold on Dan, hold time 2weeks plus These are good sales. Congrats. |

cyriletifit: It has been resolved. According to Dan, they told me that they paid 50 euro to their bank to investigate the issue. I got my money 3 days after they told me that. So I will advice you to message Simon through the page you send the domain auto code to them and complain about the issue. Do this fast. Thanks. Although I already contacted Simon and he said they sent it. I think the problem is from first bank because they are still investigating it. |

Jayboltz: Good morning house, For those that registered free co//UK on LCN ,I contacted Laszlo from Dan and he told me Dan doesn't support push from LCN. My question now is; if we get a buyer, which market place can we sell on? Can we sell on the LCN market place? I listed the domain on Dan tho. I read somewhere that a push is possible within lcn so if you get a buyer, tell the person to open an lcn account and you do a push. But koko is to find buyer first. |

I Just read through the thread on namepros and I don't get why some people get wind up about what Rob said. The guy might be a little bit direct, Yes, he might even be controversial but you can't argue with facts. The guy is a good businessman and knows what he is doing. Leave all emotions aside, this is a business, thus treat it as such. Any interaction you have anywhere, respect yourself and treat yourself with dignity. Shalom. |

cdor777: The Columbus Day celebration should work to our advance.
We can compose a new sale letter that contains a discount offer with respect to Columbus Day.
"Hello Paul
Trust you are having a great day,
In the spirit of Columbus Day celebration, I have decided to offer you the domain name "AustinDentist.com" at a 30% discount.
Proceed to AustinDentist.com for immediate acquisition.
Best Regards" Correct. I just sent a mail reducing the price of one of my domains to an end user who seem reluctant to pay after agreeing to a deal. Probably the reduction in price will force him to pay. I encourage domainers to try it, you never know what might prompt the end user to buy. |

fergusen: Who is a serious buyer? When I put a product up for sale, I want to sell it as fast as possible. The landing page should be designed in such a way as to remove anything that might stop the buyer from purchasing. If you understand consumer behaviour, you will understand why epik displaying appraisal is bad (for my domain names). I have 4 domains I have agreed price with various buyers from last week and none has made payment so far and all the domains are parked on dan, I don't know what the problem is but it might be from Dan or it might be the buyers, I don't know. But if any of those buyers really want the name, they would email me and tell me the challenges they might be having with the transaction. When there is a desire, the buyer will ensure he gets the name for a reasonable cost not to talk of $200 to $500 price domains. I wish you Goodluck and hope you sell those names when you change market place. |

Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by tosan200(m): 10:23pm On Oct 08, 2019 |
fergusen: I strongly think it is.
That aside. If I was a buyer (ignorant about domain name valuation) I will be wary and hesitant to purchase a domain with $0 as appraisal value. Then if you were the buyer, you are not serious about buying the name. A serious buyer will not look at that before buying a name. If there is a need/desire from the end user part, he or she will go ahead and buy the name regardless of what an automated bot tells them. |
