Well, should I say luck for you on those sales. One thing I know is that those end users are whimsical, they just need one excuse not to buy the domain anymore. They change minds within a blink of an eye. It is good as the man points those lapses out so that they can be corrected.
Luck is part of this buisness. When an end user wants to buy even if Estibot says $0, if he/she wants to pay $1000 for the name, they will pay. It's as simple as that.

How many names have you sold at epik?
Why I will be changing my nameservers from epik to other registrars.

After doing series of outbounds, I discovered one of my epik parked domain has over 40 marketplace visits (epik shows you number of park vists, whois check and marketplace visits for your domain names). Yet no one proceeded to buy. Price was also attractive. So recently I decided to prob further.

My discovery:
Epik displays estibot appraisal for every domain in its marketplace. The implication of this is that when a buyer vists the marketplace to purchase your name, they see the estibot appraisal (epik shows them) , which isn't a true reflection of the domain value. Imagine your name priced at $350 and epik-estibot appraisal is $50 or even $0. As it is in my case for one of my domains.

Aside the estibot appraisal, they also show some other stats about your domain which can inhibit sales.

undecided
I don't think that's what is hindering your sales. I sold four domains within the promo period, some went as high as $400 and most were appraised by Estibot at $0. These stuffs don't matter, when an end user wants to buy, he/she buys.

You'd only be notified on PayPal that you have been refunded, the refund goes directly to your bank account.

It happened to me, I couldn't find the refund on my PayPal balance, I received the alert from my bank after about 5 days.
Update :Mine has been refunded.

Thanks for speaking out. At least now we know I wasn't making baseless complaints. Sadly no one here seems to be proferring a solution.
Even their appointed rep on this thread has ignored my mentions. No qualms.

Messaged rob on NP. He posted the same screenshot sarah sent me showing processed transaction.

I Want to just let it go. But honestly it doesn't make sense.
I get your point bro. I hope it's rectified.

They claim they refunded it to my in-store credit then moved it from there to my credit card.
I'm having same issue as yours at the moment. Bought a name but someone else was faster, they said they've refunded the money to my PayPal account but I can't find it there. Although I can see the refund going from my instore account to my PayPal account but the problem is its not in my PayPal. Don't know what's going on. Make I dey watch.

Lol. But why the hate and frustrations? Buhari effect? Then go to international business. Domaining is one of them. Seriously you won't feel what's happening in Nigeria if you get it right because you will be making sales back to back if you have a great portfolio. 2sexy, hayKay2005, treasure28, BrandUche, ollybode and many others are some of those guys that have soared high in this business. Nigeria economy is not that working is not for them.

I noticed that some newbies here sounding pained and disrespectful are yet to make a sale. Then Re-strategize. Read more even outside this thread or possibly get a mentor, not necessarily me but get a person with PROOF of earnings to avoid wasting of money and time. And then be obedient and ready to learn.

Some comments are better left unanswered. I do that most times when I see your matter is not relevant at all.
@ AYORICH, take note.

Same thing I noticed boss. Seems some people who have not made sales yet and have been watching the thread are actually frustrated because I don't see the need for the hullabaloo on this thread.
I implore those angry and having one personal vandetta or the other to let peace reign. Read and focus more on the domain business and you will make sales.

Hello,

As per ICANN rule, a name can only be transferred from one Registrar to another when it is at least 60 days old

Quick Fix Tell your buyer to create an account at Epik, then, you push the domain name to his Epik account

Regards
Thanks. Already made the push suggestion to the buyer, waiting for his reply.

How to Create, Modify and Update Nameservers and DNS Host Records on Epik

https://www.epik.com/support/knowledgebase/how-to-create-modify-and-update-nameservers-and-dns-host-records/
HI Cdor77,

I have a buyer who is trying transfer a name he bought from me outside Epik and he said, he is finding it hard to do. Can you clarify if names registered on Epik will have to wait for 60 days before it can be transferred? Please reply asap, this is hindering him from buying another name. Thanks

It was payed immediately I reached out to Rob (CEO, Epik). Prior to reaching out to Rob, the payment was delayed by account department due to the fact that It was my first sale on the Epik Marketplace

So, if your name get sold on Epik marketplace and the name has been pushed into the buyer's account, just contact Rob on Namepros, you will get your money immediately.

Wire transfer via Transfer Wise to GTB account is really fast
So I need to contact Rob before payment is made. Doesn't sound right to me. I already initiated this payment since Monday from my MasterBuck account. Are you saying I need to contact Rob to initiate the process?

Yes, Epik use Transfer wise for their wire transfer which works pretty fast particularly with GTB.

When your domain get sold it will be deposited in your MasterBuck account which can be used to purchase names on Epik or withdrawn into your account.

You can also make withdrawal with Crypto or Paypal
How many days did it take before you received your money into your Nigeria account after withdrawal from master bucks.

Sales Alert !!!

Maybe this would inspire someone.

Domain Name: SeaExp.com
Purchase Price: $1 Netsol
Hold Time : 6 months
Sale Price : $200
Sale Type: Inbound
Venue: Afternic

I joined this thread December 2018, this was the second name I registered after reading the first ten pages of the thread I did some outbounds around April and may without a single reply then I decided to enroll in iykepromotions course which was great I later registered more names with multiple outbounds and only a single reply with a big NOT INTERESTED. I reduced the BIN to $150 on Dan and afternic cos I just wanted a sale no matter how small Honestly I was running out of patience cos even oga iykepromotions helped me with some names which are yet to sell so I kinda stopped outbounds and was following the thread randomly, Just last night I was checking my afternic email and boom the congratulatory message was there the feeling is quite awesome.
Special thanks to iykepromotions and other bosses in the house and the regular sales report cos they kept my hope alive. More sales to us all.
This is a domain name I thought I may never sell before it expires. Keep the hope Alive if you are also yet to have your first sale.
Thank you!
Congrats bro. I hope this will inspire you to register more names and get more sales. Domain money is sweet o grin

Do an express checkout when you want to checkout the domain from your cart. The money will be removed from your instore account.

Been a while a posted here, but have been steadily following the thread.
I am guilty of not reporting sales.
Let me just drop my last five sales

Newyorkadvertisingagency.com
Price $200
Hold time 9 months or so
Outbound.

Atlantainterpreters.com
Price $200.
Hold time: 7 months
Outbound

Sanfranciscobreastsurgery.com
Price $350
Hold time: 8 months
Outbound

Tucsoninsurancebroker.com
Price: $200
Hold time : 11 months
Outbound.

Brisbaneinjurylawyer. Com
Price : $50
Hold time : 7 months
Outbound

All this sales are from August till date. Purchased all of them during netsol $1 promo.

Funny how, days after purchasing each of this names, I did outbound for them, no response whatsoever.
Then months after, I decided to repeat outbound for them, before they sell. Not allike name get interests on first try.I would advise not given up after a first few outbound. You could give it time then do outbound again, this time with price. Sweet price between $150 - $350. And who knows, you might just be lucky.

I use bing as my search engine, and I try as much as possible to get to page 14 before giving up.

You can just take it slow, may be one name per day. A neutral person might say outbound it's easy, shebi it's just to be sending ordinary mail. But that shit is actually tiring. But just a single purchase notification mail from Simon. And you forget the stress you went through
So the cash prize ahead should be the motivating factor.

I think i need like two people for outbound sef. You do the outbound, the name would be for sale on dan.com under private seller. You take 35% of the sale price after dan commission.
Any interests, send me a message through my profile.

And thanks to the ogas in the house, you guys have helped alot of us without even knowing sef.

More sales to us all.
Congratulats bro.

Not here to argue, I just corrected a notion that not all end user change nameserver even after receiving the name..
No more no less.
That's very true, not all end-users change the name servers for the domain immediately after purchase but that shouldn't be an excuse for those guys at DAN. Those guys are way too slow for my liking. The first domain I sold at Dan, I had to literally take over the transfer process, the buyer paid and didn't take ownership of the domain for like a week and that was hindering Dan from paying me, it wasn't until after I messaged the buyer asking him why he has not taken ownership of the domain and if there is anything I can do to ease the transfer process, he then replied me saying he was waiting for his web guy who was on holiday, meanwhile Dan kept telling me the guy is not responding to their mails.
I don't know why they will collect 9% on sales if they can't be proactive about the business. My smoothest sale ever is still from Epik, refreshed my mail and I saw a message that my domain has been sold and the money is already in my masterbucks account. No stress, no back and forth.
Dan needs to improve on their service, their reponse rate is really slow.

Please you guys should stop dropping names here for appraisal, no one is GOD.

People might tell you the name is bad and the name might end up selling for a good amount. Even on namepros it happens alot. Where condemned names sell for good amount.

So please for the fact you liked a domain and bought it, pray that it sells.
I support this, names you don't think will sell might sell and the ones you have utter confidence in might just be looking at you in your dashboard like zombie, so buy and hope it sells.

That shouldn't be your ideology

You want to make money in domaining I guess, don't allow promos make you in registering quantity instead of quality, at the end you are the only one losing. I registered over 150 domains during netsol promo, of which only few can pass the great geo domain test. And many are expiring now. Funny enough 80% of this domains were gotten from expired domains. Aggressive Outbound has been done on their heads.

Secondly I am careful of the kind of registrars I use, let me tell you that most of your buyers in the U.S ist check the Whois of a domain to know the registrar and that's one of the determinant factors they consider before putting their money in line.

Some buyers even prefer to wait for a netsol domain lock to expire before they purchase.
I had a situation of a buyer been angry that I didn't tell her a domain was registered with namesilo, that she doesn't do anything apart from Godaddy. She left the domain at Dan escrow for close to a month. I was trying to sell her the second version of the same domain, and I know what I did before she agreed to buy the second one, at a reduced fee more than 60% reduction. Even till now we still communicate as we became friends after the transaction.

So why we all want to make money, let's put some factors into consideration as if we are equally the end users of such domain name.

#MY GOD LIVES
Quality over quantity anytime but for geo domains, I think you won't find quality geo domains that are deleted, it's either they are snapped at GD expired or backordered, so more or less we are left with average scraps which might sell or not. So in this instance quantity is better than quality.
PS: I just sold one of the names I bought from this promo.
