Stay in the new one because the proximity is good. You don't need to trouble yourself since you're going back to school next year. 25k - 3k = 22k month. It doesn't worth it. Alternatively, tell the contact person politely to increase the pay to 30k if he really need you. If he refused, let it go after all you have nothing to loose. |

You should try to get the fund and wire back to them then send a mail that they should make amendment where necessary and if they refused just ignore it and make sure a copy of the mail was documented. Also, you should ask the accountant on the reason why the problem kept on reoccurring and if possible record his voice. Regarding the pension money leave it for them because even the funds in your pension account is not even accessible except you're able to provide all the problematic documents. Business / Re: What Document Does UBA Require by tosbobby(m): 8:37pm On Nov 14, 2021 |
1 Utility bill such as PHCN, LAWMA etc. showing your house address and less than three months. If the payment is above three months it is no longer valid. 2 Valid ID such as PVC, National ID, Int'l Passport etc. 3 Two recent passports Please note, if your current address is different from the address used as at the time you opened the account, the bank will want to conduct address verification (KYC) on the new address within 48hurs and during this period your account will be debit frozen. If the verification result says yes you live at the stated address, your account goes live and active. Also note that if the current address is the same with the old address then there is no need for KYC then your account will be upgraded and it will go live before close of business. All the best Thank me later. |

Business / Re: Price Of Typing And Printing As Well As Photocopy In Ile Ife Osun State by tosbobby(m): 5:13am On Nov 14, 2021 |
Why not go around your immediate environment and visit the business centres over there and request for typing and photocopy fee. You could play around with N500 by budgeting N100 for each business centre outlet. Also some of the vendors might be getting the printing materials cheaper. For instance at a supermarket I bought a pack of A4 paper for N2,000 one month later I discovered a place in Mushin where 500 sheets of A4 paper is sold for N1,400. 1 Like |
Career / Re: Setting Up A Barbershop Or Going To School Abroad by tosbobby(m): 4:32pm On Nov 12, 2021 |
Guy, If the barbering business can sustain you here in Nigeria you will not be asking this question. Traveling abroad is a good idea especially if you're still single. Over there, once you secure a casual job you can still enroll for part time studies and you still have upper hand because you know how to barbe. Option B is good The leaders have deliberately withheld the glory of the country. If you're single, please save committedly and travel abroad. |

It depend on your shipping agent. Send the picture to your shipping agent and ask if he can ship it in. The product is on Jumia and Jiji meaning it is shippable. Just make sure your shipping Agent is not a learner. 1 Like |

Hi, I think the introduction of eNaira is an attempt to measure up with the trending global digital currencies unlike crypto money although the consumption scope is locally. Movement of funds would become easier and probably failure-free and real time unlike the stress we often pass through when transfering to other banks. Introduction of eNaira is also to promote convenient cashless transactions especially in the informal sector where minimal amount of transactions are done such as buying pepper maybe N400, boarding Keke Napep and Danfo etc. The required formalities is very minimal unlike the opening of savings account where you would be asked to join the long queue, present utility bill, valid ID etc. Here it is paper free and validation is through you electronic ID like BVN. I think eNaira is also a threat to POS business the moment it becomes adopted nationwide as there won't be need to be withdrawing cash repeatedly. Motive of establishing banks and other fintech companies is mainly to make and maximize profit. I think the motive of introducing eNaira is not centered on profit making but to contrast bank anomalies like service failure. Actually the differences are much but I can't type everything here. 2 Likes |
Business / Re: How Can I Protect My Business Idea From Being Stolen By Potential Partners? by tosbobby(m): 9:35am On Oct 20, 2021 |
Tony is right Buy a laptop and build your programming skills as it is the only way to be in charge. Another thing, buy a domain and pay for better hosting plan and cyber security fee then quickly learning the basic ways to manage cPanel from YouTube. Also you can hire freelance guys abroad (maybe for $50) to help you write the website script. Later in the future, plan to register your business profile with CAC. Finally, do continuous research on how to improve your services. Safe guiding business is beyond signing legal documents rather work more on service quality and BETTER PRICE why because price is the major language Nigerians understand. Tony142: 1 Like 1 Share |
Business / Re: Save My Mental Health: How Do I Recover My Money From Wema Bank by tosbobby(m): 11:37am On Oct 18, 2021 |
Sorry for the stress bro. Go to any bank branch of the beneficiary and explain the issue to them and beg them to help you check the beneficiary account if the fund actually hit his account or not. Screen shot the debit leg on your account and show them politely, they will actually check for you. JB789: |
Business / Re: Save My Mental Health: How Do I Recover My Money From Wema Bank by tosbobby(m): 6:40pm On Oct 17, 2021 |
Hi, Did you try to check the transfer status? Reason is because funds in transit often reversed automatically or manually even without complain. Also what was the message on the ATM receipt? Did you press the beneficiary very well? What if he's not telling the truth? When you sent a mail to Wema bank head office what was the response you received? Know that every fund that moves through electronic channels cannot disappear. Your money is not lost provided it passed through electronic channel. |

Nairaland! At times, I felt the platform was actually created because of me. Information gotten from here has really transformed me academically, morally and financially. I read minimum of 200 updates/topics here on a daily basis. At times when I have issue and I try to search on nairaland, to my surprise I would notice that someone also had similar challenge and had provided solutions as far as 2015. I got good paying jobs from this platform even when I was working towards been self employed I still found all the guides on nairaland. Also my mini importation and e-commerce skills were derived from nairaland. Still on nairaland, I got information on a particular freelance service which I chatted the person that posted the information and he said I would pay N2,000 to get the complete info., I begged him that I would pay N1,000 and he agreed then I transferred the 1k upfront. The good news is that from the information the guy shared with me, I have made over N900,000 in this 2021. We need people with insight and creativity to manage leadership positions in Nigeria. Nairaland is the largest domestic online forum in Nigeria. In conclusion, Nairaland is a Data Bank - NDB 162 Likes 9 Shares |

To me, this service plus FREE accommodation is suicide. You will not have time for yourself as you will be asked to work on Saturdays and Sundays after all you're enjoying FREE accommodation. Most FREE things are NOT good especially in this part of the world. N50,000 is less than $100 Nigeria is devalued alongside with Naira Think about it. 1 Like |

Having a good Rider is good but it is best when you ride yourself. Also you can as well talk to some logistics companies to always share with you some of their delivery items and you get paid that is if your custome base is not robust yet. |
Business / Re: My Goods Shipped Into Nigeria By A Shipping Company Is Missing: Please Help! by tosbobby(m): 11:46pm On Oct 13, 2021 |
Next time, always request for the picture of the package before the Chinese vendor ship out the goods to the shipping Agent, also request the picture of the same package before making payment on arrival of the package to Lagos office. Also, if the quantity of the goods is small tell the Chinese guys not to use small carton as items in small cartons often get misplaced. 1 Like |

Business / Re: I Mistakenly Transfer N10,000.00 To A Wrong Person I Don't Know. by tosbobby(m): 9:00pm On Oct 10, 2021 |
Go to any branch of the beneficiary bank near you and explain the issue to a customer service officer. Beg them and show the person proof of the transaction and they can help you to LIEN the beneficiary account of that amount especially if the fund is still in the beneficiary account. After that you will be asked to write a letter regarding the issue then they will help you to contact the beneficiary and explain the situation to him/her. So, if the beneficiary agrees they can either tell the beneficiary to transfer the fund back to you or they can tell him/her to write a short letter instructing them to debit off the fund. Ensure you visit the beneficiary bank branch early in the morning before they start getting busy. I mean ANY branch of that bank near you. If they tell you to go that there is nothing they can do, don't leave stay there and keep begging them. Saying there is nothing they can do may mean that they don't want to embark on the process due to the stress, so still stay there and beg them they will surely do something. I once witness a situation whereby a funds transfer officer in the process of entering the amount, he erroneously entered the transfer form serial number of 7 digit and the officer took the form and ran to the nearest bank branch of the beneficiary. Best of luck. 141 Likes 12 Shares |
