The popular saying that 'never trust anyone except God' may have finally been heeded to by singer and MAVIN Records artiste, Dr Sid if his tweets yesterday is taken seri ous. This is because Dr Sid has openly reacted to the ripples cause by the controversial audio leak of a private conversation he had with Davido and some others recently. He has also expressed his disappointment over the issue. In the conversation, Dr Sid reportedly fumed that former Mohits boss, D'Banj was responsible for he (Dr Sid) not being known by music lovers in Nigeria like the Kokomaster. He claimed that D'Banj overshadowed him because of the fame he attained while both were still under same label. Reacting to leaked conversation, Dr Sid took to twitter and tweeted, "Hi tweeps, hope everyone is having a good day? Please permit me to address the issue of the recording that was released this weekend," he posted on the micro-blogging site. The singer continued, "I had a PRIVATE conversation with people I trusted (Kamal, Dbanjs' associate Evil, Godfather, Davido, B-Red). I'm entitled to my opinion and its unfortunate that this happened. Sadly, someone chose to record this private conversation and release it to the public. READ MORE SOURCE:http://www.naijaolofofo.com/2012/10/dr-sid-regrets-attack-on-dbanjs-audio.html

Just when we were thinking the D’banj-Don Jazzy saga was ending, yet another controversy has come up- this time former Mo’Hits-now-MAVIN records act Dr SID plays the leading role in the ‘never-ending’ movie. A secret recording which has leaked will stir up more controversies and give us a little more insight as to why the former ‘supergroup’ broke up with bosses – D’banj and Don Jazzy parting ways. Dr SID in the recording, is heard talking in a rather upset tone about how his former label boss D’banj’s personality was over-shining his and the rest of the crew members. ‘Why don’t they know my name? Because your brand and star is too much it is overshadowing‘, Dr SID angrily said. Wande Coal however had another opinion; he argued back and forth with Dr SID, explaining that it was D’banj that actually brought them to the limelight. ‘Guuuy, it’s not that, D’banj can help anybody, ….If not for D’banj nobody would have looked at Wande, guy I dey lie? Men, I don’t know‘, Wande argued back. Not convinced, Dr SID argues ‘Batman and Robin, who them dey call? Na D’banj na. D’banj did more negative than positive for my career‘. The date of the recording is not known but sources close to the camp say it is just a few weeks old. ‘It is a well known fact that Dr SID and D’banj have been having inside brawls even though he (D’banj) was the one that dragged him into Mo’Hits back then‘, a source close to the MAVIN camp tells us in anonymity. Some call u cultists Some call u thieves Initially u were worried about the shame of being stripped naked in full of the view of the crowd... The shame quickly turned into fear 4 ur life... They beat u so badly, u could not mutter a word... Your heart was saying "Please, please wait we're not thieves" but ur mouth would not move... You were tired, aching and gasping 4 the breath of life... You look at the crowd and u see children, men and women that are ur fellow country men... Shock met disbelieve... Your hearts cried 4 help. You were thinking it was a dream, that this cannot be happening. They are not going to kill us... You wanted to wake up so that u dream no more... But sadly enough, the dream was not an illusion but apparent reality... You shouted, Somebody Help! Please Somebody Help!...Click to continue. Your Dad was not there to feel ur pain... Your Mum was not there to hear ur cry 4 help... Your Brothers & Sisters...were somewhere on their daily businesses, while u were dying somewhere in Aluu community... You were so badly beaten. You were hoping just to die so that it will all end... Then came the Petrol...and u were thinking... No they wont burn us... No No No Nooo! The fire came... The sun became so hot... The Gambian President Yahya Jammeh has said that dozens of HIV and AIDS patients in the tiny West African state have been cured using his secret concoction of boiled herbs, Reuters reports. Jammeh first announced he had found a natural remedy to cure HIV and AIDS in 2007, stirring anger among Western medical experts who claimed he was giving false hope to the sick. “Who am I to expect that everybody would praise me,’’ Jammeh said in a state television broadcast on Sunday evening, announcing that 68 patients had been cured and discharged from a treatment centre. “Just as the Prophet Mohammed prevailed and established Islam, I have also prevailed to cure HIV/AIDS to the point that 68 are being discharged today,’’ he said. The World Health Organisation and the UN have said Jammeh’s HIV/AIDS treatment is alarming mainly because patients are required to cease their anti-retroviral drugs making them more prone to infection. http://www.naijaolofofo.com/2012/10/gambia-has-cure-for-hivaids-says.html

Many people are yet to believe that the son of billionaire business mogul; David Adeleke popularly known as Davido was the brain behind the wave-making video 'ILE IJO' of estranged music partner of Square Records, MayD that led to his departure from ‘Square Villa’, owned by award-winning twin singers called P-Square and their elder brother Jude Okoye otherwise known as ‘Enges’. “How much is life worth in Nigeria?” was the question the publisher of Naijaolofofo asked, when some pictures were sent to our news desk from the scene of the gruesome murder of three students of the University of Port Harcourt, namely Ugonna, Tekana and Chidiaka. No. They were not Boko Haram militants and they were not suicide bombers either. If you care to know, they were also not armed, and they didn’t kill or harm anybody. Aside the sketchy information we got that they stole a laptop and a phone, the only thing we could see as presented pictorially, was a group of jungle justice executors, heinously and reprehensibly smashing the heads of some promising young boys, placing tyres round their necks and going ahead to set them ablaze. There is no doubt that Ugonna, Tekana and Chidiaka will curse the day they were born, considering their exit which Naijaolofofo considers most painful. It was a painful death. Naijaolofofo like other media organizations, abhors in totality pilfering or any kind of societal crime. We have been in the vanguard of the campaign against crimes in Nigeria, especially as found amongst our young men and women. We are also not oblivious of the fact that “stealing is stealing”, no matter what was stolen, and whoever that is found guilty of such crime must be brought to book by the law. However, the law says, “every criminal remains a suspect and innocent until proven guilty of the said crime. This is what the law says. It’s the law that guides us, hence we must all abide by it. It is against this backdrop that DailyPost wishes to state that the human community is not a jungle; hence all the laws of that guide the society must be applied as against the animalistic justice of the jungle. It is with this submission, that we advocate that those behind the gruesome murder of the 3 students of the University of Port Harcourt at Aluu community in Rivers State, deserve to face the wrath of the law. It’s is totally unacceptable and completely out of the ordinary, for some people to have taken the laws into their hands in such a barbaric way. The question bothering us is, why will our country degenerate into such barbarity, brute and sadism? Why has it now become a norm in our country that when a crime is committed, the individuals become the police and the jurists themselves? Why have the streets and the market square become our law courts? READ MORE http://www.naijaolofofo.com/2012/10/uniport-students-murderedquestions-aluu.html

Looking to maximize your BlackBerry battery life? We’ve got TEN simple tricks you can use that will help to ensure you are getting the most out of your much needed battery power. 1. Use Wifi when available – Turn Off Wifi when not in use Wifi seems to be the biggest influencer of battery life on newer devices like the Bold 9900/9930. In all of our tests and real world outings, having Wifi on and connected to a Wifi network was amazing for battery life. Using the Wifi network for data instead of the carrier network makes a HUGE difference in battery life (the radios don’t have to work as hard). The Bold 9900 can get a full “work day” of use and still sit at around 80% battery life come quitting time all thanks to Wifi. However when you know you won’t be using Wifi if you’re out for the day or somewhere where there is no Wifi connection, you can simply turn it off to keep it from eating away at your battery. This keeps the device from searching for networks and draining the battery. Long story short – if you have a Wifi network available … use it. If you don’t … turn it off. To Disable Wifi 2. Dim the Backlight When you fire up a new device, more often than not the backlight brightness is set at 70%. This is all well and good to start as you can see the screen clearly and everything looks great. Your natural tendency to want to see things as bright as possible may have you cranking it up to 100%, however this can more quickly drain your battery as the extra juice needed to keep the screen fully lit up eats away at battery life. Turning the brightness down (even just a bit) can help immensely to extend your battery. Personally I always drop my screen brightness to 10% and have never had an issue. Read More http://9janewzone..com/2012/08/ten-tips-and-tricks-to-extend-your.html |
