I applied for my kid Visa on Monday at Ikeja (standard ) and I got an NSF today asking for a document that shows I have a sole custody of the child or prove that the father will be coming to the UK too. Kindly note that I already included a letter of consent by the father to the application and also his passport.
I am already in the Uk doing my master since Sept and I just decided to bring to kid to join me

Kindly advise on what to do. I have reached out to two lawyers and they confirmed Sole custody cannot be achieve with 10 days.

I will advise you cancel and initiate a new one. I made an amendment on my Form A and it was stuck on Amend review till date. I was advice to initiate a new one because it’s pending on CBN and it could take for ever before they could attend to it.

Does anyone have an idea how long it takes CBN to review and approve Form A application after the applicant makes an amendment on the form. More so, will the waiting period continue counting or it will start all over? Because the application was 3 weeks on ADB_Disbursement review before the amendment was made

It can be any branch and any bank you have an account with. I did my BVN at GTB and I went to Zenith to link my BVN to my email.

You can use another bank but I will advise you to use someone that run a GTB account because of the verification process. They will need to contact your reference to verify some information about you. It is faster

I've searched YORK St John website but they don't have the courses I want. I want any course that'll increase my prospect of staying after studies e.g. Psychology courses because I'm targeting life after M. Sc. as Psychology is on the Job shortage list. It'll make it easy to get a Skilled job visa as that profession is in demand. The only one they have - Psychology of child and Adolescent Development is not accredited by BPS and as such you can't practice in UK.

I just got a refusal letter. Their judgment was based on my salary account(This was attached to prove that I earn in $$ because my savings was in Naira and it does not reflect my salary) Please note that I attached my savings account too which has about 4.5M and I wrote a letter to explain this
