The purpose for bvn validation is because is to disqualify multiple holders, by making sure your details correlates with that in the bank, and it's found once in their database. Nobody can operate two accounts, whosever does that is automatic disqualification. This therefore entails that no one can ever change your password without having access to your email. And anybody that does that and fill in wrong bank details which doesn't correlate also lead to automatic disqualification.

This issue emanated from the First npower registration you did, you must have mixed it up therein. Just write them with the registered email - npower@nasims.gov.ng - it might take forever, but they'll surely attend to you.
