This your comment sha...e get as e be and e be as e get. It reminds me of all those Onitsha traders (Omata boys) those years that will go and pay dowry for a girl in secondary school and then take on the burden of her continued training up to university level because he wants to be married to a graduate, only for the girl to graduate and decide that she doesn't want to be married to an illiterate . I understand that you are speaking as a bachelor sha because the married men who really love their wives know that to have a happy home, wifey has to be happy first . Nobody talks about submission or whatever. Guitarlife: I cringe at the bolded. That was what my former spouse was tending towards, she had lived abroad too for a while, I actually walked away much earlier but she kept promising to change, well it got to a point she changed from promising to change to prooving to me that it was wrong for me to demand submission. I am aware both religions postulate that the man is the head, the west teaches us otherwise and the result is there to see, the highest level of divorce is in the western and North American countries.
Surprisingly, she was a "dedicated christian" and I assumed this shouldn't be an issue.
Summary is that I ran sha, if the west tells us the Woman is the head or encourages the dual leadership of the home it doesnt mean it is right, the results are there for all to see as the west as failed woefully in marital standards.
And demanding submission is not bullying @ the bolded, a ship can never have 2 captains and the fact the man is the head doesn't mean the wife is a slave either. |

@ the bolded...are you for real...Which advice are you looking for again...please quickly forget about this your Biochemistry thingy...from your grades you don't have affinity for it (in my opinion o). I'd look into furthering my studies in Computer Science if I were you as you even have the work experience as well...I believe you can sell your equipment xtosync: Was hoping for a lecturing job before PR dream started floating and now almost a reality. 9ja is really frustrating person (Had to go for a BSc in Comp. I did my own IELTS payment in the banking hall (Zenith Bank) as when I tried to pay online I got an invalid account number error. Just make sure the account number is correct and you do the transfer through any of their recommended banks...hope this helps coolangel54: Going to the banking hall to make transfer payment for IELTS since I don't have a mobile app, is it advisable? I am contemplating doing this because I can't go to Benin with the bank draft cos of distance barrier for now. Please, elders advise. |

Sandydav: Hello guys, please i have another question. I have just paid for my WES, can someone please help me clarify? How do i send my degree cert to WES? By courier? I had thought i would have to upload it and then my school will send the transcript but i don't see that on the website it only says to mail the document. Please see the post below for guidance nat138: Hello, you need to send your certificate separately to them, sign up for a free account on www.hellofax.com and fax the certificate to WES, their fax number is 1-416-972-9004. Sent mine this afternoon and it has already been received. Your transcript is sent directly to them from your Uni, except in situations where you have been given the transcript in a sealed envelop by your Uni then you will have to courier that to WES. |

Great news...I remember being worried for you then...thank God it has really ended in praise hifyty: Folks,
I have a testimony, we have passed our medicals, even though the CIC doc told us clearly, you would most likely be asked for further tests for your daughter. we give glory to God that is not happening. I dont know how God did it but he did it anyway. The good glitch that happened also moved our application into the IP2 gang.
Let me borrow the most popular phrase in here; It will end in praise!
Cheers |

To enter the pool you only need your ECA and IELTS result. The other docs are required post-ITA for the main PR application Hope this helps Femicrux: Hi guys,
I am getting my transcripts and English assessment ready to be able to apply. I am yet to create an express entry account. For documents like reference letter and police certificate, does one need to only scan and upload a copy to his/her profile, or is it required to mail a physical copy? |

Congratulations...this is really inspiring...thank God for His grace Ambidextrause: Hello Good People,
I got PUM today!!! And I wish to share my story as a testimony to God's glory and in the hopes that someone might be encouraged, inspired, and motivated. (This post may be a bit long. Sorry)
AOR was July 25, 2017
At first, my application was refused. And as I read the refusal letter with shivers down my spine, I figured the VO based his/her decision singularly on insufficient funds. I was beyond crestfallen. I could not even wish that on my enemy. It came on an afternoon and I thanked God I did not drive to work that day cos I would't know how I would have fared behind the wheels. More painful was the fact that the rejection/refusal came after 134 days of agonizing wait! I had been so expectant since I felt I had satisfied every requirement. Meanwhile, a spike in FOREX rates around early August 2017 had relegated my POF below the LICO by 330CAD. Can you imagine that?!
I bottled it up. Never opened my mouth to tell a soul. I did not want to share the heartbreak with my family and close friends who knew I was on this train. So I reached out to my e-friends on this platform, chief of whom are Blackbuddy, 40manlappy, and GlitteringStar for solace and advice. I felt the reason for refusal was flimsy -- they thought so too. I was going to appeal!
Now, up until then, it's not been a common thing to see a refusal decision reversed. But my case was going to be different as I went to God in my unspeakable pain and disappointment. I cast all the burden on him with hope and faith. As advised, I sent the first email and raised a CSE showing that I indeed satisfied the POF requirement, with updated POF attached. After 3 days, my appeal was rejected. It was so devastating but I kept my cool. While me e-friends were following-up and asking for updates, I only told them IRCC were yet to respond. I kept praying. One week passed. Two weeks. Nothing. So, I sent another email, trying to make them see my point. I was begging for mercy, as advised. Failed again.
I had given up, turning my sights on PNP as my CRS had dropped to 427 and no chance of having the draws smile on me. This was January this year. Then on one Sunday evening, Tosin, who also experienced same, reached out to me again, saying I couldn't just be quiet and be waiting or just give up. Then I heard a little voice saying I should try again. I sent another email on Monday but instead got a refund of my RPRF. Damn! I caught a cold that night. Managed to get home. Struggled through the week. Then God provoked me himself - a colleague of mine, who applied after me, got PPR. We congratulated him but I was very sad deep inside. Mine was coming, I shrugged. That night, I drafted another email - this time stating my utter displeasure and showing the unfairness in the refusal decision - and I sent it directly to the minister! I remember I said a silent prayer before clicking the send button: Lord, don't let this one return the way others did.
The next day, I saw a notification, my application had been reopened. I was asked to pay the 490CAD RPRF. I returned the money they had earlier rejected back to them. 3 days later, I got PPR! Now happening so fast I could barely remember the pains I had felt a month ago. I was overjoyed and broke the news to my family and friends - they did not know the underlying story, did not need to. The devil is a liar!!!
AOR to PPR = 184 days
I want to appreciate the selfless efforts of everyone on this platform. And to those of us expecting one thing or the other on this Canadian journey, God will make it all end in praise. Thank you all! God bless!!!
And Wura27 should be ready to add me to that WhatsApp group. |

...for the Egyptians [BC and IELTS] whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The day has come for us to be set free from these Egyptians. They have somehow given me some sort of mixed feelings though. Nevertheless, I am extremely grateful to God that my morale didn't wane down to a nadir.
