Zombies won't believe this report. I am still shocked despite a critical analysis of the doom ahead some persons keep defending Buhari instead of seeing the message Forbes is trying to communicate.
Buhari is doing his best and laying up a good foundation for the future Nigeria to build. Obviously Buhari would have crossed to the yonder before Nigeria gets to the promised land.
Nigeria wil not break, not in 1000years. Our problem is too much ethnicity, nepotism and corruption. Buhari is laying a foundation for us to build.
What is the Population of Ethiopia? What value does Ethopia contribute to the World Trade Index What is the worth of Ethopia's FOREX and Foreign Reserve What is Ethopia's GDP
you can't compare this figures and pointers to that of Nigeria.
You guys should stop being gullible and suckers to every move made by Buhari.
APC and badblood against Rivers State. We all saw INEC did all they could to rig rivers election for APC. Dakuku and APC rivers chairman went all the way to protect an INEC REC that was caught redhandedd in election irregularities.
Buhari forget about the SS and Niger Delta. These people don't like you. You can't force change on them
benji93: Listen bro, i am not an economist, but listen to yourself, you sound as if you are not sure of your assertions, it is unheard of does not mean it is law , convention does not necessarily mean law. The world has adopted the us dollar as a reliable legal tender for certaian reasons, we cannot obviously conduct our oil transactions with other countries in naira. Our currency is not stable, the recnt brouhaha is just an example, however if any other currency can beat the US dollar to its appropriateness then you would see entities moving towards the other side of the boat.
You missed it, 'Our currency is not stable', can you mention one currency in the world that is stable. You need more information on commerce, FOREX, dollarization, International use of the dollar before you dispose my arguments. Do you know in the last 6 months China tightened its Foreign Exchange Policy - twice. Sticter than Nigerias. Don't read from investopedia. Rather read commercial terms and international trade from WTO domiciled source.
benji93: I would like you to clarify your point, by comparing 'I was the only one in Nigeria that understands the International Commercial Terms and Laws' and 'all international trade in the world is transacted in dollar', i can deduce that you actually mean that the use of dollar as legal tender is a law binding all members of the world trade organization. I would like you to tell me where you got that information from, cos i just read an article titled ''dollars unofficial status as the world's currency'' from investopedia a few minutes ago. I agree dollar is the most used currency in international trade, but there are reasons why the us dollar is prefered, which are reasonable, but in the case where another country's currency can assume all the characteristics of the dollar there would definitely be a tip over, some of us might not be cognizant of the more technical terms used in economics but we are not dumb, we understand it when something is logical, so please i would really like you to give me your source. then i can reconsider my thoughts on the situation at hand. Tnks.
Let me go through my incoterms and UST codes before giving you a cogent response, but it's unheard of by international principle to conduct international trade in a local currency. Crude oil is never sold in Naira
Abudu2000: why are these bloggers deceiving the public for Christ sake, the use of dollars for international trade is a policy already made and sealed in the UN, unless the country wants to face sanction no one can change that treaty,so don't get your hopes up....even if you want to import from China you have to convert to dollar since the world bank deals in dollars smh for Dollards!!!
Thumbs up man. I have been thinking I was the only one in Nigeria that understands the International Commercial Terms and Laws. all international trade in the world is transacted in dollars. It amazes Nigerians are falling for the cheap APC media stunt as usual. China wants to give Nigeria Yuan in exchange for a payback in dollars. China is so smart, give them yuan, protect their foreign reserve and the detriment of Nigeria paying back in dollars
APC should leave yahaya Bello alone to do his thing. Is there any difference between APC and PDP members. Are they not all the same. Atiku, Saraki, Et al,
Let him appoint those he his confident working with and men who can deliver to the people the dividends of democracy irrespective of their party.
International intellectuals are strongly advising Nigeria against her economic policies, Buhari and Adeosun are both forming sabi.
mutinationals are downsizing... Foreign investors are pulling their investments We are busy signing a malicious sub-standard technology import deal with China. I can't wait to see the Chinese flood our markets with sub-standard products and services.
Kemi shoe get size. You not even confident enough to show a full face pic despite quintillion tweaks n tune ups on your photo. Kemi abeg cut your cloth according to your material.
goodlifehyd: Here is a video of amaechi Defending the Lagos-Calabar railway before this same senators, moreover the money meant for the project and some others that were removed from the budget was declared floating and our beloved senators shared it among themselves as "constituency projects" and some people are happy about that smh for the youths of today
Martins301: The company is downsizing because of projected decline in sales. Rain season is generally bad for companies like Guinness. Once sales pick up, the situation will return to normal
I disagree, beer is no taste quencher. Objectively the foreign exchange policy is affecting many multinationals as they can't meet up their project earnings when converted to dollars. The only option is to downsize.
tankara1010: I warned about this to SE people....they will make sure that Billion worth of Sport Complex in SE doesn't happen. They are out to cut this Igbo man to size as the largest oil distributor in Nigeria...they have been plotting this! THERE YOU HAVE IT!
One Nigeria my brother. He is owing and indebted to many banks, AMCON did the needful. its not witch-hunting.
