Last week, a number flashed me, I checked up the number on Truecaller and it was marked as Spam with the name Rcard, I knew it was them. It called back that it sent an sms to me mistakenly that I should forward it back,I said no I haven't got any sms. When the sms entered, I tried loading them, both pins were incorrect. Having heard their gist on how the baba will start praising you over the phone and before you know it , he will start prophesy for you. I called the number back that I have got the sms, he said I should send it back, I said no need, that I tried loading them that the cards were fake.
I cut the call, sent him an SMS and called back, guy just dey para for me for phone, say I wan chop baba card abi, I just dey curse am. Throughout the call I was mindful, would have cut the call if I started hearing nay incantation over the phone

I have no doubt, most Nairalanders are kids trying to pass jamb, so I really don’t get surprised anymore when I see a reasonable thread dominated with super dumb and foolish comments.

1. There is nothing like Africa has better immune systems. Africans don’t feed well, most of us feed on junks. You think you eat better immune system improving food? You should check again. More than 50% of deaths in the USA are actually blacks. As a matter of fact, black and Hispanic people are twice as likely to die from the virus.

2. You should be worried, UK, USA, Italy and many more had quite lesser numbers in terms of confirmed cases at this point where we are, even though we’re testing very slow. There is still no vaccine, and when there is, God will not bring it to Africa.

3. You lots have a funny way of belittling your God, maybe intentionally or unintentionally. I don’t see what kind of sin the west has committed that Africa hasn’t that your God will punish them and leave you out of it. The first church was built in Italy, up until the USA took over, they were the latest epicentre.

4. You’re all really stupid I must say. Most people think this is about politics till it dawns on you all and you start getting broken one by one.

Sometimes I jus dont know what to tell ppl anymore. Is it dat some of U do not know how to research on ur own to confirm stories before carrying dem on ur head? First things first, what experiences have u gotten from other countries dat is helping? D continent depends on drugs, test kits, and every other thing from d developed world. D continent instead of being proactive stayed and watched until d virus spread before dey reacted. How many hospitals in Nigeria for example is ready for an outbreak of any kind?
Now to d main issue u raised, There are NO VACCINES YET so which one are dey coming to test in Africa?? When will u ppl stop peddling dubious and uninformed ignorant comments about? Secondly other countries are testing trial treatments while all we know how to do here is peddle very ignorant stories and claim to b religious while we are wicked even to ourselves.. Thirdly vaccines are NOT USED TO TREAT DISEASES, DEY ARE TAKEN TO PREVENT DEM SO DAT PPL BECOME IMMUNE TO DEM... Meaning sick ppl cannot take take vaccines but treatments. There are vaccines for meningitis, Polio, even typhoid fever..

Secondly, whether some people would believe it or not, the economic situation of Nigerians in their millions have gone from bad to worst as they now go around without food in their stomach. Little wonder there's a sharp increase in armed robbery cases across states. A typical example is the link below that shows a man who fainted in Lagos this morning as a result of hunger after trekking a long distance to seek help somewhere. Hunger is real! It's very real!
