O ma ya yin lenu ti Agbaje ba wole( You will be surprised if Agbaje emerges as the next Lagos Governor), I still do not understand the hatred for Jimi Agbaje. Do you want him to support Buhari when he is a card carrying member of PDP. Let us stop the politics of hatred and tribalism. I am a Yoruba man and all we want is change of Government both at Federal level and at state level. I belong to the same profession with Akinwunmi Ambode and he is a senior professional colleague but I cant blindly support him having done what he did in Lagos as the Accountant General of the state. Let us vote wisely and let us embrace peace after the announcement of the result. |
I am an apc supporter but I believe you. aare07: |
I want to gladly make this "MISTAKE" The older generation keep saying the younger generation is about to make a mistake by voting for General Muhammadu Buhari come March 28th, but in fact, the younger generation is about to correct the glaring mistakes of the older generation. If the older generation is so infallible and sacrosanct, they wouldn’t have brought us into the unfortunate situation that the Nigerian state is currently facing. Nigeria is the only OPEC country that imports refined fuel, and they say Voting for the man who built three oil refineries (Warri, Kaduna and PH) and 20 oil depots is a Mistake...I say that's a mistake I will gladly make. Insecurity has been threatening the corporate existence of Nigerians since 2009 and they say that voting for the man who stopped similar insecurity and terrorism within months is a mistake...I say that's a mistake I will gladly make. Corruption and irregularities have marred our national fabric and slowed our general development from time immemorial, and they say that voting for the man who reduced corruption to its all time low is a mistake...I say that's a mistake I will gladly make. Inflation stands at more than 8% today and they say that voting for the man who reduced inflation from 35% to 3.2% under 20 months is a mistake...I say that's a mistake I will gladly make. Our federal roads are in a 'state of emergency' and they say that voting for the man who built more roads than the Nigerian government have built in the last 15 years is a mistake...I say that's a mistake I will gladly make. Our Naira has been witnessing a landslide devaluation (currently N225 to 1$) which has left a negative impact on the nation’s economy, and they say that voting for the man who maintained a steady exchange rate at N1 to 1.34$ is a mistake...I say that's a mistake I will gladly make. Nigerians are considered to be among the top drug traffickers around the world today, and they say that voting for the man who reduced drug........... Pls Nigerians, cast your Vote wisely. |
I thought I saw this alone and the same thing came to my mind. Gullible governor deceiving gullible people. If the fundamental issues are addressed, these old people wont even be doing this at the old age. Shameless Governor. emiye: |

The Committee of Pro-Chancellors of Federal Universities on Tuesday called for the immediate re-opening of all shut down universities across the country. This is contained in a communiqué signed by the committee’s Chairman, Prof. Kimse Okoko, released in Abuja on Tuesday. The communiqué was issued at the end of the committee’s meeting to discuss the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and other issues affecting the Nigerian University System. It stated that the call for the re-opening of the universities was unanimously agreed by all Pro-chancellors in the interest of the country. The communique directed all the Vice-Chancellors to comply with the decision. It commended the efforts by the Federal Government to address the major issues that led to the strike and lauded the personal intervention of President Goodluck Jonathan in the resolution of the dispute. It also expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the referendum conducted in all the branches of ASUU nationwide, which voted 60-40 in favour of the suspension of the ongoing strike. The communique explained that the committee’s decision was based on the negative impact the strike had had on the university system, students and the parents. It, however, appealed for the understanding from the leadership and members of ASUU to ensure speedy restoration of academic activities on campuses. Source http:///rKFtUGvsNR |

Nigeria is going to be treated to another round of Okija shrine saga, as witnessed in the days of Mr. Chris Ngige and Mr. Chris Uba during Ngige reign as Anambra governor. An agreement we can report has already been entered between the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate, Mr. Willie Obaino and the APGA National Chairman, in the event that he gets elected as the governor of the state. The agreement [see below] copy of which was seen by elombah.com reveals that upon his election as the successor to Mr. Peter Obi, who has brazenly looted the state treasury, Obaino will pay the sum of One hundred and twenty million Naira monthly to Umeh while he will pay another whooping Thirty million Naira monthly to Umeh’s National Adviser, Chief Austine Ndigwe, who was the witness in the agreement. The agreement which was fast forwarded to the date of Thursday the 20th day of March, 2014 confirms that Chukwuma Soludo disqualification was just to pave way for Obaino, as it noted that Obaino agrees that his emergence as the party candidate and ‘governor’ was solely the handwork of Umeh. The criminal agreement which is meant to loot the state also reveals that all political offices, both executive and appointed which shall be carried out by Obaino shall be determined by Umeh and Ndigwe throughout the duration of his tenure. Another part of the agreement is that all members of APGA board of trustees shall be appointed by Umeh in consultation with Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, without any interference from Obaino. A plot was also hatched in the agreement, that six months into the leadership of Obaino, he shall withdraw the certificate of recognition of HRH Igwe Gibson Nwosu (Eze Uzu Awka) as the Igwe of Awka and give the position to his ally, Austine Ndigwe. Obaino was also made to sign that the current APGA Deputy National Chairman, South, Chief Onwuka Ukwa will become the National Chairman, upon the expiration of Umeh’s tenure. With this action, Anambra State has already been sold to Umeh and his cohorts with ample support from Peter Obi, who is also expected to get kickback from various contract executed in the state. 2015: No automatic ticket for Jonathan, governors – Bamanga National Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, has ruled out the possibility of granting automatic ticket to President Jonathan and state governors elected under the PDP platform in 2015, saying the PDP belongs to the people and they are the one to decide what they want. He also ruled out the possibility of the party intervening in the ongoing leadership tussle rocking the Nigerian Governors Forum, pointing out that there is nothing like Governors Forum in the PDP constitution. He argued that the Forum is just like a social class formed as a result of freedom of association entrenched in the Nigerian constitution, therefore, they have the capacity to resolve their in-house problems. Tukur stated this at his residence in Yola, shortly after arriving the state for the first time since the declaration of the state of emergency in Adamawa. He assured Nigerians that the party will continue to intervene in any state where there is an internal wrangling within the party with a view to finding an amicable solution to the crises. According to him, the PDP is a big family and in any big family there will always be the good, the bad and the ugly. He expressed optimism that the party will not only overcome its challenges but will continue to earn the confidence and trust of Nigerians who he believes will vote for the party again in 2015 going by the numerous achievements it recorded since the return of democracy. He said the opposition parties have nothing to offer. The chairman further stressed that his mission in the PDP is to reconcile, reform and rebuild the party and so far his efforts have been yielding results as can be clearly seen in the return of so many personalities back to the party as recently witnessed in Nasarawa state as well as the return of former Governor Boni Haruna to the PDP. He denied any rift with the Prof. Jerry Gana-led PDP convention committee as insinuated in some quarters. Tukur described the latest show of shame in the Rivers state House of Assembly as a parliamentary affair and a culture in the legislative arm of government which is not only synonymous to Nigeria alone. He assured that the party will investigate the crisis and take necessary action |
nairaman66: Really? Know this Mr Mustafa- We haven't forgiven you for the dirty role you played during Abacha's regime! You may have been acquitted by this terrible Judicial System.. I am sure u dont knw what u re saying....i am a yoruba man from the same state with Abiola(MKO).. Re u God to knw or judge any man.....14 years in prison is not a good thing in a man's life....if the man had been sentenced under a good judicial system, he would ve stayed more than the period he had stayed....Do u knw how many people in prison without trial all in the name of awaiting trial......Let's our leaders change their attitude and we will have a better Naija....
