Nairaland GeneralRe: Celebrating Olubusayo Awomolo ( Bawomolo) by tpia1: 5:34pm On Dec 10, 2010
I have to say it really bothers me that there are absolutely no leads in this case so far. Absolutely no suspects.
not surprising.

some of his fellow nigerians jumped me for asking a few basic questions about his career. So why expect anything else anywhere. People have too much to hide.

that's why they say kokoro to nje'fo, ara efo lo wa.

MzDarkSkin:
@tpia the posts that were deleted were the most postive and I am very digusted by it.
Its not so much the woman bashing that upset me you know. He insulted myself and Ms. Eve for being descendants of slaves. But who ever "cleaned up" this thread for what ever reason or agenda still taught me a lesson, if it can be avoided, then stay away from confrontation. smiley
^^ he didnt need to say that, moreso the thread isnt even a male bashing thread hence my surprise at the level of animosity.

confrontation isnt always avoidable but certain things are flashpoints and didnt need to be brought up in this particular context.

if he posted the comment on one of the numerous AA vs CA threads where everyone is cursing each other out, that's different.

slavery wasnt limited to the western world anyway- quite a lot of africans are also descended from slaves who werent shipped overseas.

^^let me repost

Never mind the fact that the posters and thread starters of such topics all entered this world through that stinky corridor.
your dna, your karma, who you are is in that stinky womanliness.

if you like, curse yourself.

i guess you're being forced to type.

the husband is rich so she can jumpstart her career anytime.

even carrie underwood didnt waste time before marrying.

since she [adaeze] was interested in marriage, might as well get it out of the way.

if she wasnt, that's different.

nice photo but it doesnt look like her.

@ topic

thread was cleaned up i see.

i still dont get what the uproar was about? huh

why were people taking it so personal?

there are countless threads insulting women of all persuasions, with emphasis on nigerian women right down to their womanliness which we are told is uglier and stinkier than other countries' own, and i didnt see this level of antagonism. Never mind the fact that the posters and thread starters of such topics all entered this world through that stinky corridor.

RomanceRe: Wanted: More Ambitious Women For Nigerian Men by tpia1: 3:03pm On Dec 10, 2010
Orikinla:
Such women are scarce in Nigeria.

Most of the Nigerian babes are looking for boyfriends instead of careers.

I am not dissing them, I am challenging them.

One of them who has just finished her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) asked me for job and with HND, I advised her to go for PGD and then MBA to enable her compete for the good jobs. But she was soon reminding me of how I left her in 2002 and that I have never taken her out.
I told her yesterday that she does not know her priorities.
I guess she is looking for a husband more than a career.

The right thing to do now is get her a good job to help her earn a good salary, and save for her graduate studies.

Lest you forget, I DO LOVE OUR WOMEN AND THAT IS WHY I CHASTISE THEM WITHOUT PAMPERING THEM.
it's called misogyny, sadism and just plain bad breeding. It's not your place to chastise anyone- face your life and let others do the same.

you're no better than mobo444 and i wouldnt be surprised if he's working for you.

your girlfriend needs to check herself and stop giving people like you the time of day.

there's nothing wrong with what she said, the only problem is she has lousy taste in men.

neither is there any reason for you to start abusing women because one girlfriend reminded you how badly you treated her.

i really wonder at the level of asocial people these days.

wow.

i do hope they arent actually AA because bukola in particular resembles them.

i heard there's another son sunkanmi (not sure of the name), whose photo is kept out of the public domain.

who are the mothers of these kids and why are they hidden.

i thought saraki's wife was from ondo state?

so many conjectures flying everywhere.

but even this alhaji wey dey talk, resembles fulani nah. In a way.

the last set of photos are in no way the same thing as the first one.

the point is:

show some decorum.

generally speaking, this kind of display is a red flag indicating problems somewhere.
RomanceRe: Wanted: More Ambitious Women For Nigerian Men by tpia1: 3:27pm On Dec 09, 2010
hmm.

the guy put his picture up then went on a misogynistic rant.

not a very smart thing to do, imo.

i'd suggest you delete your last post although of course you dont have to.

fear God sha.

karma may not catch you through a nigerian woman, but in the place you never expected.

nothing you typed which cant be found in any country.

if you're a club hopper then what type of women do you expect to see there? huh deeper life sisters or hijabs?

and you cant accuse nigerian women of whatever without removing the log in the eyes of you and your fellow men.

some churches do have very strong social structures and friendships.

especially those ones where youths are the majority.

true, there'll also be all kinds of whatnot going on under the table, but what's to be done about that.
