Religion / Re: Which God Deserves Worship Of My Friends IVF Baby When He Grows Up by tpia1: 5:18pm On Sep 29, 2014
Oduduwaboy: My friend finally has a baby via IVF (in-vitro fertilization) after 10 years of church wedding.
There is no kind of fasting & prayers he did not partake in. He gave all sorts of offerings, tithes etc He climbed all the mountains in faith. Nothing. Then he got tired at age 38 and wife was 36 years of age. He started attending an assisted reproduction technique clinic and within 2 years finally got the 'fruit of the womb' .
He now believes that left to 'jehovah' he will still be waiting and perhaps never have a child ( he used donor eggs). The wife named the child Oluwaseyi but my friend was not quite happy with that name; understandably i guess. So my friend has been asking me ' How do you bring up a child without a god to fear or how do you appoint a god for a child to worship when obviously no god was of help in 'procuring' him? He his slowly losing religion but can not yet label himself.
Dearest, loving, sweet nairalanders i come to you with an open heart, which god do you think deserves the worship of my friends baby when he eventually comes of age?

this your fictitious story could use a better script writer.

i think the only positive (if you want to call it that) is the buzz you get from the humping or whatever the affair comes with.

ie for most men. For women, its mainly the economic factor or the satisfaction of knowing you're pulling a fast one on your fellow woman by humping her man.

in addition, if there were no enjoyment, there would be no consumers.

some people would even prefer to "chop and quench" to "dont chop and dont quench".

solid3: I was driving somewhere along Maitama district in Abuja, I saw this gigantic bill board in front of Goodluck-Sambo Campaign organization Secretariat. I had to stop and take a snap shot of it.

The most surprising thing about it is the fact that they have reduced the Nigerian populace to a football pitch where all what they do is for fun and the onlookers.

This is Nigerian's future we are talking about and the best they could think of was to liken the Nigerian to an unserious football pitch.

bro, choose between football and chess.

the major difference here is one involves teamwork (aka contacts based) while the other involves solo and critical thinking in order to defeat your opponent/s.

XketchDesigns: Her.. I haven't watched, I mean why waste 1.5 hrs to watch a movie about a guy that dates his computer?

the plot is rather unusual.

Internship is awesome.. 7. I mean it's Vincent and Owen Wilson together!

sounds like an interesting storyline- working at google.

Noah is crap 1.. the writer wrote rubbish, he freestyled and made use of very little if the story. After 5 min I realised the movie was total rubbish, It was a waste of 2 hours. If they had based the movie on fiction, it would have been just ok! But trying to affiliate it with biblical story which they told about 20% and made up the remaining just made it a useless movie.

hmmm

Godzilla.. 3 the story is crap, they deviated form the original story. I get its a reboot. A perfect reboot is 'total recall' or 'robot cop'
This had to many Godzilla and the main one was ally of humans.. that's just wrong!

i also dont remember godzilla working with humans although its been long since i heard of the original movie.

Transformers. 4.. nothing new, just recycling. Same old, same old, only new faces, I still believe shai laBeouf was better at play the lead than mark.

yes, i was wondering how it would be without the main leads from the other movies.
