Skidoc:are you an armed robber? you do sound like one from your nl posts. |
I heard of a 60 plus British woman worth £7 million and bought a £500k mansion with a pool for her gambian husband in his early 30sno wonder we have some nigerian males cursing out every nigerian thomasina, dickina and harriet. who wouldnt, after tasting that kind of better life. all in exchange for a bit of panshing. not to mention you dont even have to work so hard to impress as you would with your own countrywoman? ![]() both in the bed and otherwise. She spends 6 months in Gambia and while she is away the gambian wife of her husband moves in to the house with her full knowledge as she accepted polygamya win-win situation i guess, until the woman's heirs decide to take up the matter. |
Ladyrsky46:well, her mum is entitled to her opinion and might possibly be speaking from her own experience. doesnt make her comment any less valid and neither does it mean her daughter will or wont marry from another culture. we shouldnt be so quick to trash other people's observations just because they arent what we want to hear. there are people of all races who prefer their children marry within their own culture. i dont necessarily consider that a crime. |
The new Govt in power is doing everything possible to force their citizens, who were hitherto living on social programmes, back to work by cutting down and in some cases totally removing these benefitsi just read the DC govt is doing the same. cutting off welfare benefits after 5 years. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/12/07/AR2010120707009.html?wprss=rss_metro/dc |
havent read the book yet. or watched the movie. however, i doubt the theme is anything new. |
ROSSIKE:australasians are not Africans, and the distance isnt so far if you consider the fact that melanasians are actually asians, so to speak. |
^^thinking that must make you feel so proud? ![]() do you have any actual achievements to list or are there none. |
I'll rather be with someone from a totally different race and culture and be happy than with someone from my culture and live a miserable lifedoes being with someone from your own culture automatically translate to living a miserable life? ![]() seems you're being rather close minded with this statement. mind you, i'm not saying you shouldnt date outside your race or country. |
the lookers are already looking for her replacement i'm sure. |
chiogo:you're probably right. i did some checking and it seems some kids also leave high school early and take the geds instead of getting a diploma. Thus getting into college faster than their classmates. i dont think that's the case here however. some states just don't place a minimum age for HS graduation.i guess. there might be some merit in the US system of keeping kids with their agemates but since there are children who test above average, exceptions do have to be made perhaps. |
Ileke-IdI:not trying to argue here but simply attempting to work out this puzzle. he came to the US at age 13, in 2002. he should have been placed in eight or ninth grade, with his agemates. to graduate 4-5 years later, at age 17 or 18. now, unless he took college level courses while in high school [he denied that though] or was enrolled in a special school that allowed him to skip ahead of his grade. the educational system could also vary by state perhaps. anyway, dont mind me. may he RIP. |
57, not married and he is not capable/ can't be asked to find a wife on his ownhe cant even ask the swazi king to find him a wife, assuming there are none in botswana? ![]() extremely weird. ![]() |
^^the other option is to figure out the ethnic composition of the yorubas in egbaland before what obtains today. we dont really have a lot of information about how Islam was established in the southwest. we know the history in northern nigeria and kwara, but not elsewhere. obviously it must have been through peaceful migration and integration, i assume [but could be wrong] since we havent heard otherwise. anyway, na them [politicians] sabi. It all makes for good powwow but does it matter, really. |
Ileke-IdI:it's generally not the norm, in the US. In the instances where kids are identified as brilliant for their ages, they might be enrolled in a special program or special school with others who are the same. Not sure if that's what happened here. bawomolo stated in one thread it took him 4.5 years to complete his first degree. And he categorically denied the possibility of getting an engineering degree in three years. rather puzzling. maybe it's easier in chicago, perhaps. |
kokoye:good one. so would you say they have a point? |
not a good sign. |

revomind:most times you can tell when someone is mixed. it's not just about skin colour alone but also other things like bone structure, etc. |
yoruba creoles arent concentrated in mainly one place as obtains elsewhere, so i think that's why it's so difficult tracing any non-black yoruba origins most times. They're simply shrouded in impenetrable mystery. by creole i mean people of indirect mixed ancestry. not sure what's the proper pc word. |
Has she forgotten the fundamental human right to movement.which is? ![]() |
so what next? ![]() UN has evacuated their staff, i think. i hope the logjam can be peacefully resolved? |
Abagworo:@ bolded. not necessarily. |
gbemi saraki [daughter] [img]http://kwaranews.files./2010/08/gbemisola-saraki.jpg[/img] bukola saraki [son] https://lh3.ggpht.com/_WS_AyxOgCQE/TFRQOrUEO1I/AAAAAAAAACA/uVsyt1btIao/Bukola%20Saraki.jpg dr. olusola saraki [guy in question] https://pmnewsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Olusola-Saraki.jpg they are clearly mixed with something [most likely fulani or maybe not] . On the egba connection- news to me but never say never. ![]() |
excoba101: excoba101: excoba101:knock on wood. i innocently checked your profile and what did i see. ![]() you people have serious issues and i wonder if you are beyond redemption. might be easier to just leave you to the wolves. |
Students from outside the European Union will be forced to go home after completing coursesactually, students used to voluntarily go back home after completing their studies. this was before nigeria's population explosion, economic crash, human trafficking, britain joining the EU, widespread globalization, etc etc. |
slyfoxxjoe:kindly stop making a mountain out of a molehill. do you want an award or what. abeg waka. [s]someone with a name like sly fox claiming he's a hardcore christian. yeah right.[/s] |
binhozie:anybody can search for a motive. he had friends on nl so i still fail to get your point. i think you need to redirect your anger into something more meaningful. unless there's something you know and we dont? |
binhozie:given the manner in which he was killed, does it make sense to say people shouldnt search for a motive? ![]() did he die @ 98 and surrounded by friends and family? ![]() i fail to see your point. |
^^nobody needs to know his taste. and if he thought someone did, then he didnt have to throw out jabs in that manner. |
^^the president was wrong for what he did and should be cautioned. and why a 57 year old man has consistently refused to marry, also needs to be investigated. isnt botswana right beside swaziland where the king has 1000 wives. so what exactly is going on. |
binhozie:please do not derail the thread. |
tensor777:the issues that led to his death most likely had no direct ties to his arguments here on nl- i can safely hazard a guess about that. he's been anti-christianity and an outspoken advocate of gay rights for years without encountering any problems. jealousy and envy cant be ruled out, not necessarily from the actual person who pulled the trigger, but also from others who didnt. there's so much involved here. one also has to wonder why exactly was he so militantly pro-gay? |
