there are 36 states in nigeria o, you folks (original posters) have done kwara and ondo, is there enough megawidth for the remaining 34. |
the point here is there is (or should be) life after politics. its not good to make politics a do or die affair. |
this one is obviously on heat. |
DeLaRue: People, please what's Yoruba name for spinach. And, is the Nigerian spinach the same as the one in Europe - basically, can I eat it raw?yes, you can eat it raw. |
delarue see here, you're even asking the yoruba name for spinach: https://www.nairaland.com/1045149/yoruba-name-spinach please go and sit down. who sent you, btw? |
delarue you're the one posting the most on this thread. take a break, you're obviously up to no good and probably from some mischievous non-yoruba area. |
Is anyone else doubting this desola broad is yoruba? |
DeLaRue: London is not centrally placed. If proximity to water is what determines your choice of capital, then you're still off. You should head south then. |
DeLaRue: Whao! our state is now a buffer zone. I laugh o.The capital can be better placed in ekiti, compared to what you're suggesting. You can dream though. |
DerideGull: That is my point exactly. When I wrote unusual, I meant unexplainable rapport between Igbo and Ijebu-ode chaps too. I am talking of personal experience. The sudden and unsolicited friendship between the Igbo chaps and the ones from Ijebu-ode, Akure or Owo got me thinking when I lived in Yoruba land.Bro, which friendship are you seeing outside ijebu land? Maybe in kwara? If you want to find wives in the ondo axis because oil is being prospected there, just come clean and say you want to build intermarriages between your people and their people ( good luck with that btw). But no need to lie through your teeth in this manner. Or by friendship do you mean perhaps the younger hiphop generation who dont know their left from their right, are now having friendships en masse with igbo people? |
Desola: Is this an avenue to settle scores abi what? Moreover, what has okoro madu got to do with this now? Are you ovulating or pmsing or better still suffering from the effects of menopause? Because I no just understand this cattiness tonight o.Jesus Christ, you are certainly in a permanent psychotic mode. Go vomit on someone else, kindly take your animal character elsewhere. On top another person website you wan die, shows you have no life. |
DeLaRue: The idea that anyone in Ondo or Ekiti is sitting at home feeling cheated decades ago is ludicrous.Akure is not centrally placed, so making it the capital of a new sw region ( whatever that's supposed to mean), is not advisable for both strategic and logistical reasons. Towns and cities which are more centrally placed include ife, ibadan, etc. |
bokohalal: Edos see them as EDO N'EKUE! Let me see you overcome that. What does that have to do with who they are? Are you saying edos calling them something makes them edo? |
Desola Abeg sharap, you like to run mouth as if someone made you a spokesman for anywhere. Rubbish, its your type who will run cap in hand to the igbos you say you're abusing, in your usual pretentious manner. |
Desola: It is true!I am not from ondo dear. And neither am i going to engage in the vulgar back and forth you're known for, i have no time for internet cowards, find your level, i am not it. If an igbo man dumped you thus you want to deny any comity with igbo people on account of your crappy nature, too bad, doesnt mean a thing. |
bokohalal: Do not know if the British did. The natives and Edos called it EKUE. Some still do.You see them as edo or some such? |
Desola: Your own Ijebu or my own Ijebu?Abeg get a grip and stop embarassing yourself. So because YOU ostensibly say you dont like igbos, that means other ijebus stay away from igbos? Oshi radarada nworry e. And yes, which ijebu are you? |
Brownjay You are the one fighting everybody here over the op's post, so i'd say YOU are the jealous one. I'm actually a bit surprised all it takes to wow you is a house and car, you usually present yourself as rolling with the big boys. |
olas2u: Just look at what you term success in Life.Amazing right. |
Desola: Won tun gbe tutun de, oyinmomo.I dont know any part of yorubaland which interacts with igbos and actually loves them, more than the ijebus. They have a unique bond. |
I must say, i love the comedy of the thread though. Becomerich might have to draw up another map showing the republic of something which will be bordering the midwest ( republic of what was that now?) |
Christy G: op,wbb |
DerideGull: I am not surprised to read there is undercurrent thoughts that Ondo State may opt out of Republic of Oodua. While I sojourned in Lagos, there was unexplainable rapport that existed between chaps from Ondo State and their counterparts from southeastern Nigeria. During the period, it is very hard to see any Igbo boy dating a Yoruba girl. However when they do, it turned out the girl was from Akure or Owo.igbos marry ijebus more than any other yoruba subgroup. |
ireneidiva: I'm worried tooo o!e go better. |
and yes, train network is needed for the region. nigeria has to catch up with the rest of the world, bionic men will soon replace regular armies. |
what is needed is a clear plan and mission statement for the region. (Note: this doesnt necessarily involve everybody singing kumbaya and drinking palmy until nobody even remembers why they gathered in the first place. Goals can be worked on without sentimental derailing). for example, we need a healthcare headquarters which imo can be in osun. Build world class medical facilities (or at least standard ones) and make it a center of medical tourism, with a reputation for excellence. business headquarters clearly will be in lagos and ogun states. manufacturing, etc can be distributed across the region. With maybe a concentration in oyo state. education of course is a priority, but the govt schools need urgent rehabilitation and the design and infrastructure needs to be upgraded. i think ekiti has an edge in education though (high number of professors), maybe IT etc could be their forte. |
if anyone has all what the OP describeddoes he have a jet? is he using $10 million jewelry? does he drive a $250,000 car? does he have like 15 cars parked in his driveway? does he own five or more skyscrapers in choice areas of town? |
why would people be jealous of someone for having one house and one car? rather small minded to assume anyone would be jealous of such imo. as per his family, i guess mr brownjay has been fooled by the nlers who say they cant find anyone to marry, fact is they just arent ready to marry yet, not that they couldnt do so in a heartbeat whenever they want to. Basically, what I'm saying is settling down is not a herculean task, it just depends on your mindset. so please stop insulting nigerians or is it nlers by implying they have never seen cars or houses before? |
