okooyinbo: I wonder why a lot of these young people on Nairaland keep mixing things up. Tapa and Nupe are always listed side by side when talking about Nigerian ethnic groups. However, Tapa is the same thing as Nupe. They are not 2 different ethnic groups. The NUPE people call themselves NUPE, while their neighbour to the south refer to them as TAPA. Get it?
