Christianity Etc › Re: Nigerian Nurse's License Withdrawn In Uk For Calling On Jesus For Help Story By by tpia5: 5:07pm On Nov 05, 2011
There's something weird about this story.

The boy's mother had enough presence of mind to tell someone to shut up but not enough presence of mind to pick up the phone and call an ambulance? huh

Very strange.
Islam › Re: Why I, As A British Muslim Woman, Want The Burkha Banned From Our Streets by tpia5: 5:03pm On Nov 05, 2011
Let's not change the topic.

Sweetnecta, what led to this discussion is your tagging some people enemies of allah, and my response to you is how are you sure you yourself arent Allah's enemy.

Your presuming to know what Allah does or doesnt want, who he does or doesnt accept, is just that- a presumption. Putting words in Allah's mouth is what you seem to be doing here, to all intents and purposes.

As per quoting the koran or hadith- i generally dont engage in long tedious arguments which weary the soul. If i start copying and pasting long passages, then you start copying and pasting your own long passages, after a while we both lose sight of whatever the argument was to begin with, and then you start calling on enemies of allah when you run out of breath.

Anyway, my point is clear enough- when speaking for Allah, be sure you're not of yourself offending Allah by doing so.

^Again you presume to tell God what he will or will not do.

Sounds to me like you make yourself, not God, the sole authority.

If its about money money all the time, then what about the professors training them in the various med schools- shouldnt they also be money oriented.
Health › Re: 'Majority Of 15,000 Doctors Trained By UCH Work Abroad' by tpia5: 2:50pm On Nov 05, 2011
^Doctors do not make much money in the years immediately following graduation. Even overseas they dont make a lot of money during residency either.

The profession isnt supposed to be about having unlimited amounts of money- its about people's health.

There's actually no amount of money that can pay enough for what they do.

True, a good okro stew (ila alasepo) can be cooked with that amount.
Health › Re: 'Majority Of 15,000 Doctors Trained By UCH Work Abroad' by tpia5: 2:19pm On Nov 05, 2011
Developed countries typically hire professionals from developing countries.

India, china and the middle east currently supply more doctors, scientists, professionals etc to the west than nigeria.

The brain drain isnt good for the economy but for now there's little that can be done about that. I think nigeria should look into hiring foreign doctors to try and make up this deficit. There are doctors from less developed countries as well as the former communist ones who might not have a problem working in nigeria.

The saudi thing peaked at some point- many nigerians went to saudi for financial reasons- i think there must have been some sort of hiring incentive designed for nigerians in particular because of the high number of nigerians who went there during that decade.

Anyway, na you sabi-its your life.

i consider it an extremely wild leap of fantasy (not uncommon here) to assume just because a sculpture was found somewhere, therefore it is linked to somewhere else.

In the absolute lack of any connection between said sculptures but simply out of a desire for oneupmanship and the typical ignorant bad belle, quite shameful how some people want to display their jungle mindset which resists every attempt at civilization.

These jokers want to ignore the central african bantu connections to that region and instead want to jump on an area which clearly derived its own influence from a more northernly/westernly direction.

Na so e easy? huh

^If you indeed believe Allah is omnipotent and does as he wills, then you should also believe he reserves the right to consider whatever you're offering, as unacceptable.

Are you saying Allah is subject to you? huh

Therefore he has no choice than to follow YOUR leading? huh

I hope he was able to make peace with his roots because i think he was a bit unsettled about the circumstances of his birth though i could be wrong.

If deols is feeling too big to be courteous to you, then better move on.

She might not be aware nigerian men in general and yoruba men in particular are hot cakes more or less.

If the shakara dey too much then she should stick to sweetnecta and lets see how far they want to tutelage each other.
Islam › Re: Muslim Singles, Let Us Have A Talk by tpia5: 1:59am On Nov 05, 2011
If my liking her hurts her so much I think I have to let her be.
aw, isnt that sweet.
Islam › Re: Muslim Singles, Let Us Have A Talk by tpia5: 1:57am On Nov 05, 2011
i seem to have missed the fireworks sad but i think the reason why deols is angry at macltunji is because he tries to call her to order whenever she's going overboard on religious matters- ie when she's insulting people who arent muslims.

unlike sweetnecta who willingly places deols on the fanatical highway and encourages her in the same.

no offence to sweetnecta but that's what i noticed.

now, is it surprising deols snaps at macltunji but is all honey and spice to sweetnecta.

na so life be.

^^why not choose dr kitaun 1- 10 or something.

or keetaun, keytaun- you know, just something that makes for easy recognition, because i was going to unleash some very nasty effects on this hannie id.

thought it was a bad belle person.

as per baba suwe- ndlea really messed up this time. undecided

someone needs to get to the bottom of this. undecided

i suppose it would be too hard to think the blinking lights can be done by a human being.  Cover the light source with your hand or a cloth and that's your blinking SOS code.

it might also be too hard to believe actual people might be living or spending most of their time in, these dark and dangerous forests.

outcasts, cults, sick people, etc? huh

just my two cents.

i already asked before if babies who were thrown into these evil forests in ancient times, were picked up and taken elsewhere by unknown characters.

Fans and media follow three weeks of bowel movements
embarassing.

But a judge was deadly serious when she asked the comedian, who had spent three weeks in jail on suspicion of smuggling drugs in his stomach: "So you've been to the toilet how many times?"
embarassing.

18 or so bowel movements detectives have been closely monitoring
big shame. undecided

"detectives"? huh

its unfortunate that ndlea decided to play this very expensive joke. undecided

the war on drugs has been lost, thanks to jokers within the organization.

hope they're not nlers because that's where you normally find such unserious characters.

is this hannie the same person as dr kitaun? huh

thought it was some i.diot running mouth like people here are wont to do.

i just read some pages of the thread and found out you're supposed to be dr kitaun.

why not stick with that id to avoid unnecessary problems.

^^its all about home training, which you lack, and one can blame that on your witchy background.

this isnt your first time of attempting to scatter threads pertaining to yoruba.

na madness dey worry you- get help.

and on that note, carry your jungle mindset elsewhere and let human beings contribute to the thread.

now, if you respond to my post again, then you are truly jobless and a maniac and i will not be dragged down to your level.

so enjoy your conversation with yourself and whatever insults you throw out, apply to any XX chromosome in your dna.

proverbs 6

A troublemaker and a villain,
who goes about with a corrupt mouth,
13 who winks maliciously with his eye,
signals with his feet
and motions with his fingers,
14 who plots evil with deceit in his heart—
he always stirs up conflict.
15 Therefore disaster will overtake him in an instant;
he will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy
There are six things the LORD hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
17 haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
19 a false witness who pours out lies
and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
poster, take heed.
