EzeUche:
You are the one derailing this thread, by inserting tribal sentiment.

I am criticizing Fashola for his role in the flooding which was AVOIDABLE.
lagos is not your concern, so get lost.

you rarely ventured outside of your village even when in nigeria, so face village affairs.

just yesterday i saw photos of some places in nigeria that would make even a snail run away, so save your crap for those who are ignorant.

EzeUche:
With that way of thinking, no wonder Nigeria is in such dire straits. People become offended when a leader from their own ETHNICITY is criticized. cry
yeah, whatever.

go to your own state and shout there.

you're nobody in lagos and will continue to be nobody.

now, the thread isnt about you so kindly shut up and find some other pastime.
Politics › Re: Lagos Flood: PDP Demands BRF'S Resignation by tpia5: 3:00pm On Jul 15, 2011
anyway!!!!!

can jobless touts stop derailing the thread and go make noise in a gutter somewhere.

in the aftermath of the floods, what measures are being taken by the federal govt and sitting senate who collect their fat salaries from the national purse, to address the people affected by it.

any funds being donated to help them? huh
Politics › Re: Lagos Flood: PDP Demands BRF'S Resignation by tpia5: 2:58pm On Jul 15, 2011

EzeUche:
Stop being a lemming. In the West, they call it constructive criticism.

He has failed in this situation. And the blames is his alone, because the naira stops at his desk.

And you act like he is the only governor in Nigeria who is working. There are many, but their achievements are not highly publicize.
to people such as yourself, failure depends on tribe. For example, a hardworking yoruba governor is a failure to you because he is yoruba, even if he's working hard to give your lazy butt an improved living condition.

to other rational, educated, sensible and credible people who arent motor park touts, failure is wilful refusal to get your butt out of your chair and actually do what your job description entails which is serve your people, not embezzle funds that are meant for the development of your state.

so, this is why you remain irrelevant.

and if the woman builds her own house with her own money they'll still complain why didnt she tell them.

EzeUche:
Saint Fashola is not infallible. grin
well, since he's the only one working, he's the only one whose WORK is being criticized.

sign of a healthy functioning govt same as in the US and other places where school passed through people, not that they simply passed through school.

if you have zero and no work to show [as per majority of the other governors], then of course there's nothing to criticize.

far easier to just chop money, clean mouth and sit on your butt doing nothing but listen to sycophants singing your praises.

Politics › Re: Lagos Records One Month Rain In One Day, Says Expert by tpia5: 2:33pm On Jul 15, 2011
its time to begin to categorise housing like is done in Russia or other frozen lands - summer and winter housing. We can have dry and wet season housing so for those who cannot swim they pay only six month rent per year and move out in April.
hmm, sounds funny but some people do spend their winters in florida and the other seasons elsewhere.

just yesterday a huge sinkhole opened in the middle of a road in utah due to heavy rain but the educated illiterates we have in nigeria must just make noise anyhow because they like the sound of their own voices.

It could be fake i guess.

I learnt there's a power struggle in the church and it might be an attempt to discredit the man.

Quite disgraceful.

Why would you defend cheating in such an ugly manner as if your life depended on it.

Even if its your lifestyle, I think common sense should tell you keep your stuff to yourself until you're outed and caught by karma. Not that a whole bunch of lemmings would just start singing like canaries.

Not attractive at all.

More rain is coming.

pdp should be busy advising people to relocate from flood zones.

not necessarily.

i do see your point, but sometimes its not everything one knows.

you can think someone escaped unhurt, but you may not know the whole story of why they either escaped, or didnt.
