^^quite a lot of chinese were in africa a few centuries ago, and never returned home.

i'm sure many of them probably intermarried with the locals.

as per your post, you seem to be typing out of fear or is it experience with some racist chinese.

the thing with asians [chinese in particular] is, they arent easily intimidated and they can hold their own even with whites.

how much more blacks.

like i said, i've met friendly and handsome asian guys but i keep my distance because of the ethnic tensions between both races [blacks and theirs].

the main stereotype i heard about chinese/asian men is they tend to be players, just like black men.

in which case you would be the pot calling kettle black.


as per the racism part- yes we all know it exists but asian men living in other countries do date and sometimes marry outside their race, although there's a lot of cultural resistance to that, like i pointed out before.

in the Caribbean especially in Jamaica it is common to see Jamaican black women with Asian men

i doubt it's like that.

the girl already speaks the language although she needs to work on intonation.

if you posted a video of yourself speaking yoruba [having learned it somewhere], i'm sure people would be just as impressed as they are with this white girl.

some people do have hair that long. Especially indians, i think.  Though in showbiz, i wouldnt rule out extensions.

Maintenance [eg washing, brushing, etc] must be achingly tedious, unless you just braid it native american style. [One single braid down the back].

there's just something about overly long hair that i find a little sinister. dont know why.

the main problem, i think, is the cultural bias against such unions, from both sides.

some unmarried chinese men in africa do date black girls [doubtless the ones elsewhere too, outside china].

however, i think due to family pressure, they might not marry them.

the families seem rather strict about their sons marrying within their race.



many of the asian men i've met have been pretty cool and friendly.

however, i've heard a lot about ethnic tensions between blacks and asians as well, so i try to keep my distance.

about the shortage of women in china- i think time or somewhere had an article on how vietnamese women immigrate there as wives for those who need them. Or was it to one of the koreas- cant remember.

this first love thing is overrated and energy zapping.

i dont understand the use of pining away or interrupting someone's life over a crush or crushes from aeons back.

rosy view of the past when in actual fact it wasnt necessarily so.

of course we all like getting that woozy feeling but still.


i read one biography where an 80 something year old man went back to his village in europe, after spending  40 or 50 years in the US, to find his childhood sweetheart. He got the shock of his life after he tracked her down where she was living. A 70+ year old lady answered the door and he was so tongue tied after realizing who she was, that he just turned around, and got on the next flight back to america.

I myself was amazed he'd actually thought the girl would remain the same way she'd been 40+ years ago? Are some men really like this?

of course the guy had been unhappily married for 30 or 40 something years, but it still seemed weird. He hadnt married for love either, so maybe that could explain the whole thing perhaps.
