Family › Re: Is Being A "good" Wife Enough To Keep A Man ? by tpia5: 2:24am On Nov 14, 2010
marry someone who looks uglier
dangerous advice generally speaking.

being ugly is no guarantee a man will make a good husband.

neither extreme-too ugly or too handsome- is enough to keep a man, in itself.

some ugly men are the worst players imaginable.

When a man of such a vast mind and such depth of heart and perception writes such things. . . satire is eminently afoot.
there's a joke section for your idols.

poster,

if you ever opened a bible talkless read it properly, you'd have seen this verse:

matt 15

16  “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them.

17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body
duh.

Education › Re: Schools Report Finds ‘jaw-dropping’ Gap For Black Boys by tpia5: 4:02am On Nov 13, 2010
hiphop fans always take it personally when anyone says that.

asians tend to excel in science and math- either due to hard work or something. No one knows for sure.

blacks most times simply dont make an effort for various reasons including dislike of anything they consider "white" culture.

then the lure of quick and bigger money in other areas besides education.

MOBO444:
What kind of standard do black women want to even set, please we should just leave the black women were they are and were they will remain (which is behind).
i'm pretty sure your village and LGA must be a desert of sorts, ravaged by wild animals, and deserted by 95% of it's inhabitants because this type of cursed talk can only come from an accursed person.

Small time now you start wondering why you never see development.

which type of development do you want to see after selling your mother for coloured pencils.

were oshi.

OP, your list is shiit.

jarus did the same thing some years back and I wont tell you how highly annoying and irritating this stuff is.

you'd better take that list down if you like yourself.

imagine- you skip wilywily, environmental (emphasis on the mental), and other crazed xenophobes and you think you can just start opening threads anyhow to malign others?

Christianity Etc › Re: Images From The Christian Inquisition by tpia5: 8:00am On Nov 12, 2010
The truth is that Christianity was promoted through fear, torture, and death, in a series of continental inquisitions
not quite true.

Constantine did not adopt christianity using any of these tactics, prior to the era you speak of.

and the time frame you're referring to here, is known as the dark ages for a reason.

and i dont think the aim of the inquisition was to promote christianity per se, but more like an attempt to weed out dissidents.
Family › Re: Is Being A "good" Wife Enough To Keep A Man ? by tpia5: 7:45am On Nov 12, 2010
If really you do all those things you listed without compromising, most men including myself will always come back to their wife at home and when he's about going astray, his conscience draws him back that he is making a big mistake which automatically tells him to self correct himself.
not every man has a conscience and not all men listen to their conscience even if they have one.

being a stepford wife is no guarantee of anything, though it doesnt mean women should go haywire.

the only weapon anyone has is prayer.

ROSSIKE:
Can folks desist from using the word ''tribe'' to describe Nigerian Ethnic Groups please?

Some of those Ethnic Groups have populations of up to 40 million, more than 3 or 4 countries put together.

So it's highly inappropriate to refer to them as ''tribes''.

You do realise the days of colonialists, who introduced such perjorative terms to demean our great and illustrious people, are over?
i dont see any reference to tribe on this thread.

am i missing something? huh

Celebrities › Re: The Trouble With Women: Taio Cruz, 27, Musician by tpia5: 5:54pm On Nov 11, 2010
But I’m very much a one-woman guy.
not surprising.

He has that "aijoberi" look about him.

however, america will cure him of his "one woman-ness" pretty quickly, i should think.

My ex-girlfriend just didn’t believe that, and was fixated on the idea that I was cheating on her. I don’t think her friends helped. Apparently, they’d tell her: “He’s a musician — he must be cheating on you.” Yet every time she called me, I’d have time for her. I’m a homebody — it’s not like I’m out clubbing every night. She really had no reason to be suspicious, other than her own fabrication. I spent all my time with her, so it’s, like, what more do you want from me
not surprising either.

i grew up reading about thor and other norse gods, paul bunyan, tales from the arabian nights, sinbad the sailor, greek mythology and mount olympus, romulus and remus, etc etc.

so no, i do not have a problem with the story of oduduwa descending on a chain and scattering earth on the primordial ground.
