Religion / You Have Been A Shelter Lord To Every Generation by tpia6: 4:38pm On Sep 28, 2015 |
You have been a shelter Lord To every generation To every generation A sanctuary from the storm To every generation To every generation Lord Before the birth Of the world's great wonders And lofty mountains high Oh Lord You were there The Lord throughout all of time You've seen the years Pass in untold numbers As in a single night You've seen the lifetime of man Fade quickly before the light Our years go by before Your eyes You know our rebellious ways Make us wise to live holy lives In the balance of our days 1 Like |

Religion / Morning By Morning New Mercies I See by tpia6: 10:42pm On Aug 05, 2015 |
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” O God my Father, There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be. “Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!” Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided— “Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me! Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, Join with all nature in manifold witness To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. “Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!” Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided— “Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me! Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide; Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! 1 Like |

tpia6: coogar: as a moderator, which of these two posts are you supposed to censor and warn the poster about? Please use your brain instead of your joystick. tell coogar and your other gang to stop insulting me, i am not the one using filthy language and neither do i go out of my way to abuse others. soon now, you'll start shouting "use the report to moderator button", yet you are here on the thread, and offensive posts are staring you right in the eyeball. |

Education / Re: Is Intelligent Quotient (IQ) Inherited From The Maternal Or Paternal Genome? by tpia6: 7:39pm On Nov 29, 2014 |
@ topic like i pointed out before, its sheer laziness on the part of parents to assume intelligence should be based solely on genes. the bible says train up a child the way he should go. you are supposed to identify your child's abilities and help nurture him or her along the path you want them to go. for example, most sports people were exposed to their game at a very early age by their parents- this factor helped them develop an affinity for it and to perform well. likewise you have many nigerian celebrities introducing their children to showbiz while young- this is so they can gain experience and have an edge over the competition. but when it comes to intelligence, we are waiting for "genes" to kick in? if the men took some time out of their busy skirt chasing schedules (upholding their own version of what they call "african culture" ) , and the women reduced their "gossip time, gbeborun time", and used some of that allotted slot for their kids, you'd see the difference. and no, you do not have to be a genius to teach your underaged child! 1 Like |

innocent1: this sounds plausible. intelligence is 75% hard work, and 25% other factors. thats why you can have intelligent people making poor grades in school and vice versa. |

pickabeau1: is this a promise you intend to keep. she persists in twisting my name to prick.. (is that your problem) you watch too much p,orn. and, if you are offended by the name prickaboo, i can change it to something else. you might be lacking in that department i suppose. |
