People are curious about her birth mum, is anything known about her.
where is she from, did she remarry, etc.
Yorubas tend not to joke with such matters. |

Family › Re: What Does God Fearing Man Actually Mean by tpiar: 11:14pm On Dec 28, 2015 |
that's a bit too cynical. Besides, sleeping with a so-called "god fearing" has already negated the cheating part. Neither is godfearing synonymous with riches, a lady who wants riches wouldnt include it as part of god fearing because it isnt.
God fearing means someone who makes God a priority. |

I think I may be having a cultural dichotomy or something here. I don't understand why/how people get upset because they feel hurt their tribe/family/whatever wouldn't be considered suitable marriage partners. so, date someone else? or if you want to wing it, good for you. |

vayne: What if the sex was consensual? Children born out of wedlock are considered as belonging to the mother, in Igboland. Its the culture, or used to be the culture. As per your question, I don't see how a woman will jump on a man and still be claiming rape, as is common these days. Why would you assume it was rape, perhaps you are referring to a different context such as the civil war. |

I think that was in the olden days.
There have been at least two threads on nairaland within the past two years where non-Igbo girls were able to locate their babies who were taken to Igboland by their boyfriends' mothers. |

vayne: Why didn't he pay her bride price before engaging her sexually,he is the man!!
Besides, who knows she might have been subjected to sexual abuse/rape(as that is what men from my area are known for) for her to have left him after a misunderstanding.. Didnt the woman know he hadnt paid her bride price before sleeping with him and without protection too. |
