you are seeing all these tribalistic anti-Yoruba threads maligning Yorubas, right?

They've been trending for about a month now.

the Nigerians who are familiar with non-Nigerian cultures etc, why are you not making efforts to explain these other cultures when you see intentional misinformation on nairaland or even before?

. . . . . .
the picture was not taken in Nigeria and neither are the kids Nigerians.

you should focus your energy on finding whoever abducted these kids and holding them accountable for what they are doing.

awolowo in delta.
not the same.

This picture shows intentional neglect and malice and whoever took the photo should really be brought to book.

they even tied juju string around the kids' waists for heaven's sake.

I just hope it wasnt chain!

You can even see the kids are scared, and very frightened. Lord knows where their parents are.

I think this picture is current because where on earth did they get HD cams back then in 19.....this picture is too artificial.
it's probably a recent picture, what a pity for those kids being tortured like this.

How will they not grow up to be bitter and angry at society? huh

when they were intentionally deprived of basic care by adults in their circle.

Imagine taking such pictures and showing them off as if they are animals in a zoo.

lord have mercy.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Men And Their Foreign Spouses by tpiar: 11:29am On Jan 24, 2016
I'm always surprised with how many Nigerian men can get away with things while I'm stereotyped as the bad guy even if I'm not bad.
it's the system doing that.

but, you did not mention scamming at all, which Nigerian men (or Nigerians) are stereotyped with while AA men are not.

are you folks referring to people like mercy aigbe, mercy johnson, etc, who can respectively claim Osun state and Edo state by virtue of their marriage to indigenes of these states?

just want some clarification here.

lara oshiomole, etc.

Omotola, Edo state instead of Lagos?

calling your amebo questions silly means i am offended? huh

I simply asked who sent you.

Embarrassing that you have m on your moniker though, usually, its a female trait to be constantly pokenosing in other people's matter rather than their own.

but, since nl males are switching genders with females now, no biggie i suppose.

Some of these things are confusing ooo. I dont see this topic as daft at all. We dont really know it all.
Another that confuse me is this. If a married woman hasn't change her name legally and applying for a job or filling an important form where there are provisions of title, surname and names.is she to fill in 'mrs' as title while filling the rest with her former names?
why would you use Mrs With your maiden name? huh
PoliticsRe: Religious Organisations It's Role In Fomentation Of Our Failures As A Nation by tpiar: 11:08am On Jan 24, 2016
obviously, the country is not as big as we assumed it is, that's why people have to emigrate to find opportunities elsewhere.

To the Mrs in the house, which state of origin do you put on official forms (e.g) bank documents, travelling, sim registration...etc.?
very pointed question, in this day and age where husband is seen as a scarce commodity and "everybody wants to marry a widower".

plus hackers and stalkers on your case 24/7.

Not to mention last days when minimum of 7 women see it as a thing of pride to try to grab hold of one man.

FamilyRe: Should A Woman Change Her State Of Origin After Marriage? by tpiar: 10:29am On Jan 24, 2016
Bolade005:
I don't understand why Nigerians let stuff like this bothers them. In the Nigerian settings of today, your state of origin and even local government of Origin sometimes depend on the purpose to which you intend using it for.

For example, job purposes. If a woman is from Ondo and she's married to an Ogun man and there is a recruitment going on in Ogun, she could claim Ogun state and if the recruitment is going on in Ondo, she could also go back to apply. Infact it's an advantage.

Just like local government of Origin, I have two different certificates I use. For state or Federal recruitment, I use the local government with lesser number of graduates just to increase my chances.
why did I know somebody will always mention Ondo here? huh
