can i change to another related course? I doubt that because you applied for TRV stating the intention to study a particular course and your TRV may be refused or granted based on that. However, if a TRV is to be issued (as a result of not meeting up with the resumption for 13th)a new acceptance/admission letter will be requested for from CIC, the chosen course in the new letter might influence the decision of the CIC. Please note, this is just my opinion o, gurus in the house might shed more light. |

You can differ your admission bruv, then continue working and apply for study leave when for the next session. My school resumes on the 9th too but my TRV hasn't been approved yet hence I differed my admission till May. |

I know there's a slot where you are allowed to add documents after submission.... It should be somewhere on the online account page.
But since you already submitted that of the deposit, you may choose not to bother unless otherwise a VO sees it as a requirement to fulfill unconditional offer.... in that situation they will officially request you to make payments and send proof.
Meanwhile.... Cic clearly indicates that payments of tuition is done at your own disposal (risk) unless they request you to do so.
In my own case, I made payments towards deposits but I just did not include in my application.

Brother I know someone that applied online without submitting a police clearance and the person is in Canada now. The things to be submitted are listed in the online application and police clearance isn't there. |

To the best of my knowledge... In as much as your proposed program is in tandem with either your UG or relevant working experience.... It is understandable that you require the program to boost and progress in your career path.... you should be OK... Finish the deal with a solid LoE!
The purpose of LoE/SoP cannot be overestimated... It is the only thing that represents and speaks for you where you aren't physically present... Let your LoE solicit on your behalf and answer any query that may arise during application processing.

My friend's wife studies PGC HRM @ Niagara College in Ontario... I only knew yesterday and was so curious to know her UG course... Alas, she studied BSc Human Capital Mgt (same as HRM) in UK for her UG ... They just relocated from the UK after securing their citizenship last year!..
I am made to understand it's a highly paid job and on category 'O' on the NOC list in Canada.... The kind of jobs citizens would clamour and give limited chances to immigrants...

I applied for a Canadian student visa online in Sep, I also did the bio metrics that same month. It was after that I got a mail that my application has been refused with the following reason(s) That I might not leave after my studies and also highlighted was the purpose of visit and present employment (which is business). So I reapplied on the 6th of Oct with paper application and I added some documents ie landed properties,coy registration docs, letter of explanation my kids birth certificates and statement of personal net-worth. The application was submitted in Lagos. I applied for an 8 month certificate program. I have been tracking my application on VFS platform ever since but for 3 days now the system is saying NO RECORDS FOUND. Please I want to know if this is normal

Dear all, I'm really sorry to derail the thread but i just thought to ask for your prayers for a friend who told me about this thread, since we are a family here. Her moniker here is chrissybaybee. She had an operation for appendicitis shortly after she received her TRV. I never even knew until I saw a mutual friend of ours today who told me about it. I kept on wondering where she was because she wasn't picking her calls & replying to her whatsapp & text msgs & then her phone was switched off completely. I thought she had travelled. The last time I saw her was at coldstone creamery, ikeja and we got talking. I told her about my visa stuff & she told me to go on nairaland 'traveling to Canada' & also watch out for michV, mikymiko, thesoj & all. She said she just got her TRV through the help she received here & above all God & was planning to book her flight. Please I ask that you all pray for speedy recovery for her so she can go live her Canadian dream. I think her school resumes in January. Thank you. May the good lord give her full recovery. 3 Likes |

Greetings to the house. Silent reader here. I'm slightly worried. Applied via Paper route around Oct 10...Linked to online exactly a month later. No correspondence so far. Do the VOs prioritize applications from Universities over Colleges? Are there people here who have applied since October too? It'll be nice to know if I'm alone in this.
NB- I and a friend applied together (Lambton College and Conestoga College)... We have not gotten any feedback since we submitted.

i am humbly sorry but if may ask,why HRM? What's your UG study and present work experience? From the research i have made,HRM is even a distinct discipline on it's own being taught in the universities in well developed countries.people tend to say it has relationship to some programs but outrightly,VOs hardly see the relationship or need for such program which often result to "purpose of visit" unless a cheerful VO would see the correlation more especially to your present work experience and the reasons in ur SOP to your career.i don't mean to heighten ur fear please but many have not succeeded with this very program.i would sincerely advise you work on other alternatives while waiting just incase. Well I read Economics in school hence I was able to explain that there are branches of economics like labour economics and managerial economics which are core functions in HRM, I have also worked as a recruitment consultant for the past 3 years, suffice it to say that recruitment is another core function of HRM I would have loved to apply for an MBA but I didn't make a 2 1, I would be delighted if there is any other course you can recommend that is related to what I studied as an undergrad And thanks for your advice |
