Residents found a yet-to-be named young man lying lifeless by the roadside in Imo state on Saturday night, Feb. 12.

Salemgists gathered that the deceased young man who was hacked to death by unknown men was found at Akalovo Emekuku Owerri, the Imo state capital.

As at the time of this report, residents of the area were clueless on how the body got there but many people at the scene believed that the man was killed during a cult clash.

The development was confirmed by the spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Michale Abattam.

The police image maker assured that the police will make a formal report on the incident as soon as possible.
