A young girl identified simply as Shakirat was killed and her dumped by unknown people in Osun state.
Salemgists gathered that the young woman who went missing since Wednesday March 9 was found lifeless in an uncompleted building.
According to reports, her lifeless body was later found around Oke-oore in Iwo Local Government Area of the state.
A source said:
“She was last seen Wednesday afternoon and her family members became worried when she did not return in the evening,” the source said.
“Her corpse was found behind her mother’s shop very early on Thursday. Some police operatives later came and took the body away. We later learnt that they took her to morgue in Iwo General Hospital.”
The sad development is confirmed in a statement released by the spokesperson of the Osun police State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola.
He assured that police had commenced investigation into the incident.
Wives of the soldiers that were killed during an attack by armed terrorists took to the streets to protest in Kebbi state.

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have intercepted no fewer than 294,440 tablets of Tramadol, Diazepam, Swinol, Rohyphnol and Exol-5 along with other illicit drugs in major operations in Delta, Bauchi, and the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos, while a total of 41 suspects were arrested in raids in Abuja and Kaduna state.
In Delta, one Christian Onah,42, was arrested at Isele- Azagba junction with 23,160 tablets of Swinol and 66,000 tablets of Rohypnol, both weighing 71.6kg while conveying the drugs from Benin, Edo to Onitsha, Anambra state. In another arrest, a commercial vehicle from Onitsha going to Ibadan, Oyo state was intercepted at Abraka junction, Asaba on Wednesday 2nd March with 78,000 capsules of Tramadol; 5,000 tablets of Diazepam and 97,500 tablets of Exol-5, while a suspect, Olaniyan Sunday, 42, was arrested. At least, a female suspect, Patricia Saduwa, 42, was arrested with 233.7kg cannabis during a raid operation in Orogun community close to Abbi town in Kwale LGA, Delta State on Friday 4th March. The raid of another house in the community same day led to the seizure of 123.7kg cannabis while the owner is still at large.
In Bauchi, operatives acting on credible intelligence raided a warehouse at Gadar- Maiwa, Ningi Local Government Area of the state, where 542.5kg of cannabis; 6,800 tablets of Diazepam and 12,400 tablets of Exol-5 were recovered on Wednesday 2nd March.
At least, 30 suspects were arrested at Malali area of Kaduna during raids aimed at destroying drug joints across the state. A suspect, Usman Dahiru was arrested with 24kg cannabis concealed in two sacks of used clothes on Thursday 3rd March along Abuja-Kaduna express road, where another suspect, Abdulrazaq Rabi'u was also arrested with 100,000 counterfeit US dollars while on the same day, operatives in Anambra state recovered 38,862 red star cartridges along with 13 cartons of illicit drugs when they raided a warehouse in Onitsha. In Abuja, FCT, 11 suspects were arrested and 81.2kg of drugs seized in a major raid operation on Saturday 5th March in black spots like Torabora, Karu Abattoir, Jabi motor park and Forest.
At the Lagos airport, one Audu Muhammed was arrested at the SAHCO export shed on Saturday 5th March with 1.550kg cannabis concealed in golden morn cereal packs meant for Dubai, UAE. Two days earlier, Thursday 3rd March, a suspect, Olalekan Wasiu Ayinde was also arrested at the export shed with 4,980 capsules of Tramadol; 600 capsules of Rohypnol and some designer drugs concealed inside locust beans and hidden among food items for export to South Africa.
Meanwhile, a principal suspect in the importation of 451,807 Captagon tablets weighing 79.119kg in September, 2021 at Apapa Seaport Lagos, Nwoku Princewill Uche, 36, has been taken into custody after six months on the run. Known as Jihadist drug, the consignment was the first ever recorded seizure of Captagon in West and Central African Sub-Region. In his statements, he claimed to have met the person who gave him the job on LinkedIn while he was paid N5m to clear the container. He then used a third party bank account to process the Form M for the clearing of the illicit consignment.
While commending officers and men of the Delta, Bauchi, Kaduna, Anambra, FCT, Apapa port and MMIA Commands of the Agency for the arrests and seizures, Chairman/Chief Executive of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) charged them and their compatriots across the country to remain vigilant and on the offensive until all drug cartels in Nigeria are completely dismantled.

A young lady who is presumed to be a married woman lost her life in Buea while attempting to get an iPhone for herself.
Salemgists gathered that the deceased woman came to Buea, Cameroon to further her studies but ended up in the cold hands of death.
According to sources, the woman met a young man who promised to get her the most recent IPhone. But it was learnt that the iPhone the man promised her came with a price, and the condition was that the woman must have an intimate affair with him.
Not minding her marital vows, the lady who wanted the Luxurious mobile phone by all means accepted to go down with the man.
It was gathered that they both had intercourse. After the affair, the lady started failing sick. Even with intensive medical care, she wasn’t getting any better.
Even on her sick bed, the woman was still hoping for the iPhone but the man was nowhere to be found.
Salemgists understood that the hope of the woman getting the iPhone was fading but that was not all, the sickness was getting worse.
The lady who was left with no hope of getting the iPhone and getting back on her feet decided to let the cat out of the bag.
Realizing that she is in a deep trouble, the lady decided to confess everything that happened to her family members.
Unfortunately, she died shortly thereafter, leaving behind her husband, a child and family to mourn.
Armed men suspected to be cultists invaded a burial ceremony in Ebenebe, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State and killed about 16 persons.
Salemgists gathered that the incident happened today, Saturday, 26th February, 2022 at the burial of Ozo, a suspected leader of a cult.
A source said while the corpse of Ozo was lying in state, some suspected cultists arrived the scene and sacked mourners, shooting at them.
He said the 34-year-old deceased who was killed in December at Amansea Area in Awka North was also killed by suspected cultists.
The source added that the incident left Anambra residents in fear. He said the injured mourners hit by gunshots were taken to the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital at Amaku, Awka.
Confirming the said incident, the police spokesperson in Anambra, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, said “a burial was going on when some people suspected to be cultists invaded the area and started shooting”.
He said, “I do not have details of casualties now, but I will keep you informed once the picture becomes clear.”

Enugu State Commissioner for lands, Hon. Chidi Aroh escaped assassination attempt in Anambra state yesterday, Feb. 21.
Salemgists gathered that the Commissioner escaped death after his car was attacked by unknown Gunmen.
It was learnt that two of his police orderlie were gunned down by the invading gunmen during the attack. Officers killed were identified as Inspector David Adabu and one Inspector Solomon.
According to sources, the incident happened after they were allegedly ambushed by the gunmen while returning from a visit to Anambra State.
