Unknown gunmen resumes security operatives killings in the Southeastern part of the country by killing three police officers

Wikigists learned that the incident took place at a police checkpoint near Ozudaa Market in Achi, Oji River LGA of Enugu State.

It was gathered that the gunmen opened fire on the checkpoint this afternoon, 15 April 2025, killing the three officers at the spot.

The gunmen also set the vehicle belonging to the Nigerian police force ablaze, making the incident an planned attack.

As at the time of this report, details of the attack are still sketchy and the Enugu State Police PRO, SP Daniel Ndukwe is yet to comment on the matter.

A heated argument ensured between former minister of education, Obi Ezekwesili and the senator representing Ebonyi North central senatorial district, Sen. Onyekachi Nwaebonyi.

A video posted by News central TV and sighted by litegists shows how Obi Ezekwesili and Senator Onyekachi Nwaebonyi were exchanging words during the argument.

A woman who is yet-to-be named has reportedly stabbed her son, who is still a toddler to death for reasons yet to be ascertained.

Trendygists gathered that the incident happened in Abeda-Mbadyul settlement in Logo Local Government Area, within the volatile Sankera axis of Benue state.

According to reports, the woman who is pictured in the attached image, seated on the floor beside her deceased son, stabbed the child to death in the early hours of today, November 11.

In response to the incident, the Nigerian Police acted swiftly and apprehended the woman. Preliminary reports hint at the possibility of mental health issues affecting the woman.
