The bank will only deal with the account owner . Ordinary they should work on your application without any prompting. May be you should hold on a bit and see what happens.

My visitor visa was approved and PR on January 11th. I submitted my passport to vfs in Lagos via UPS on January 16th and I haven’t gotten any email update on the transit of my passport. I sent an email to the vfs helpline and I got a response that it has been sent to the embassy and they attached my tracking number. That was on the 23rd. I think I am supposed to be getting routine emails about the progress of my passport in transit but I haven’t gotten an acknowledgment email that my passport was received at VFS until I sent an inquiry email to them. Ever since then, no response.
I have sent other emails and tried calling but yet no response from vfs and I am getting worried at this moment. I included all the documents required including the consent forms and paid for a 2-way courier.

I was wondering if anyone is experiencing something similar?
Please any suggestions of what I can do at this point?

Is it a business name account? or a personal saving account?. Either way it is important to document the source of the 25M either in bits of 8M or in bulk. That is the key factor.

You then back this up with a bank reference letter stating your dad is the sole signatory to the account. He should also do a sponsorship letter and notarized affidavit of support.

My tution is 8500 cad per semester, but I was given a conditional offer to make a deposit of 5000cads, but I decided paying the 8500cad
My Dad is a business man, he also has the CAC of the business
Note: that kind of amount has been deposited into the acct sometime last year for business purpose, becos the acct is more or less a business acct (but it's still a savings account). I could also get a reference it better to break the money into bits like 8m and keep depositing it while the inflow and outflow continues in that way? For this I can try and explain in my LOE in the sense that alot of money is needed in that acct to operate such a business.

I really do not think you should worry since they have given you the acknowledgement email. Your passport is officially in their custody. Check the email to see if there is any tracking ID ...use it to track the status of your passport on their site ;

My situation is different and its giving me concerns. I sent my passport on Saturday 21/1/23 via DHL PH and it was delivered to VFS ABUJA on Tuesday 24/1/23 by 10.15am . Since then, VFS has not even given me any notice of receipt of documents/acknowledgement email. I am worried about it. Please is this normal? Does anyone know what next I should do?

Does it matter if it takes long before I do biometrics?
In my quest to travel once to Abuja from East to do both biometrics and medical, I am now in a dilemma.

I once applied for upfront medicals, got a date and paid but later pleaded with them to hold on for me so that I can get a date for biometrics and travel once, they agreed and asked me to inform them immediately I get a date for biometrics. I applied on the 12th and got a date for biometrics on 20th of January, I have been calling them since then, but it seem they nolonger want to grant me the request... I have tried to apply for the medicals online and the available date I am seeing is 1st of February. The gap is much, I cant stay in Abuja that long because of work and expenses.

The only option left for me is to reschedule the biometrics close to 1st of February, hence I am asking if it matters if I do biometrics like 3 week after applying for the study permit.

Please help with an urgent response.

I think as a suggestion before ordering for CBSA or GCMS wait till its passed processing time of 9weeks. I ordered mine after 5 weeks mayb that's why it's not yet detailed even tou medicals was passed and eligibility has started before I ordered.
