OboOlora:You're shooting yourself in the leg bra! 1. Buhari has made Nigeria ungovernable 2. 2023 is for general election 3. There are three major contenders 4. Obi is the most agile, least corrupt, most adept at following up with modern leadership challenges and most frugal 5. Nigeria must choose a leader by 2023. Would you rather say that Atiku (with all the stains against him) or Tinubu (ill-health and controversies) rule Nigeria? Nigeria still has to follow a path though Buhari and APC messed it up. The sanest path is choosing Obi. |
tinsel:If you have a clean skate, forging any of your credentials won't be easy. |
SKhanmi:Not having children doesn't tantamount to ruining ones life. Some have children and the children ruined them. What do you say about that? |
duro4chang:What makes a spell, a spell is that the person under a spell does not know he is under a spell.... |
Moh247:Na by force that Asiwaju become president? If he's running away from ordinary debates, can he handle a complex nation in dire need of a healthy, intelligent and patriotic president? |
Franzinni:In Malcolm X's voice. |
Patriotsleague:The white man is the biggest hypocrite no doubt. What do you call the black man then? What do you call them for what they did on 20/10/2020 at Lekki Toll Gate? What do you call APC for what they're doing now and their followers? What do you call the 20trillion that was printed while the economy of the country was gagged? What do you call a leadership by black man that cannot build a standard hospital where presidents and potential presidents can get treated? Instead, the English King was asking our president if he has a house in London with the frequency of his visitation? What do you call the black man who supports the white to enjoy their technology but blame them for every other thing that is happening to them? Man, look in the mirror.... |
Parachoko:Stop all these rubbish. Nigeria's president is Nigeria's president. Which one is FG led by a Muslim man? The money released to Niger Delta, is it in the law or not? If it is and you're applauding Buhari for releasing it, you're a hypocrite. |
Slurity:As much as your argument is sound, it should be noted that inflation doesn't mail anyone in Nigeria. Who could have thought that petrol would cost around 300 naira in Ibadan even though there's still fuel subsidy? Did anyone receive a mail for that? Did the government inform us last year that they were going to initiate economic measures that'll lead to what's going on currently? I'm not supporting UNN on this. But Nigeria is in a desperate position. We just have to take whatever comes. If we can fight it, we do. If we can't, we whine and get quiet. My own is that we must change the leadership system next year. |
sirnewton20:The problem with this statement is that ignorance doesn't just affect an individual, it throws a whole nation into darkness. Just imagine if Nigerians are 80% literate and academically sound. Education has gone beyond an individual will and if in a nation, the people have no desire for education, the government there should be worried. Some states are easy to govern in Nigeria. Why is it so? A large part of their population are educated. |
Excuses as usual! That's his symbol. How much of real growth did Nigeria achieve in his 8 years? Yet, he keeps on bringing excuses. |
Tinubuadvocate:Well done. You're well schooled. Nevertheless, Tinubu will not be voted into power come 2023. That's why you spilled your bile against the Igbos in your first paragraph. I'm not Igbo and I don't need to be Igbo before feeling the heat of a hailing country because of irresponsible, defective, malignantly corrupt leadership system. They became worse than what they came to correct and so, in 2023, they will be out whether you like it or not. Soon, Nigeria will have a stable system where political leadership positions will be too hot for ineptitude of the present sort. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Neither does staying in the country singularly improve the economy. If it does, Nigeria should be should to shoulder with Brazil at least. It's difficult ti hope in Nigeria and some of these people selling properties to travel aren't even doing it for their own sakes. They're doing it for their kids. Do you know how tough it is to raise kids in Nigeria especially if you're a lower tier civil servant or you're a small scale business owner? Think if thousands of unemployed graduates who are being frustrated everyday. They said agriculture was the way out, how many large scale farmers who came from the abroad were killed in their farms in Oyo State in the past four years? Believe me, japa enmass isn't cool but it takes a stone hearted courageous person to japa from Nigeria considering the limitations they face. |
kahlide:Buhari came to take away the remnant of that glory.....now one Mr Emilokan says he will continue from where Buhari stops. Their devices will not work. God will put them and their associates to shame. The people will rise and the thirst of Nigerians in sending the APC out will be fulfilled. |
Bobbysmicky:You're responding to someone that is uttering gibberish just like this master. Most of them time, the mouth reflects what is in the brain. |
oneolajire:The good side of this is that Yoruba women are always assertive in their husband's house. You can't cheat them there and you'd go free like that. The bad side is that some of them without self control may easily fight and pack out of their husband's house. I think among the three tribes, Yoruba women are the most assertive in marriage and it's due to their understanding of how marriage is meant to be. You work, and I work to bring food to the table. |
Political jobbing always make people dumb and Nairaland is getting dumber by the day because there are more political jobbers, morsel grabbers than actual humans with rational brains. Someone has Obi as his dp and support a cause now meant every supporter of Obi supports the cause or is Obi championing the cause? You'd just be blabbing when you run out of ideas and salient issues to discuss. |
Acidosis:What is the federal government doing jàre? Building projects that does not touch the common man but increases our debts. Common projects like Lagos-Ibadan expressway has been in construction for how many years? Electricity has been in comatose for how many years? What is happening to security? Does the FG have any mouth to talk now? |
fkj950ax:All you listed there are not even the problem. The problems are much more than those. 1. Most public primary schools already teach pupils in the mother tongue. The problem is that most of the pupils find it difficult to cope with English classes in secondary schools. 2. Most of the public primary schools are attended by the children of the poor where the parents already communicate with them in their mother tongue and they speak the language of their environment. Now, English language would have been an opportunity to learn better for them but since they won't be taught in it, many of them would find it hard to cope later on. |
This is why it's good to have the Holy Spirit in you. Sometimes 'angels' may come unawares. Sometimes devil's may come in form of angels with sweet stories. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. |
Naira20:They know the oppressed will always applaud them for apologizing. Steal their money, destroy the economy, increase security woes and then come to apologize. A time will come in Nigeria when politicians would have resigned before apologizing. So be it! |
madridguy:Rather, say APC my party Buhari, my president. Support a new order so that these corrupt old politicians can take you seriously. |
Bluntguy:Aisha will overlook wetin? You want to know why the Tinubu family want to carry his body (if possible) to Aso Rock even if the man is unwilling? Power is easily misused in Nigeria and Africa. And the powerful will keep tramping the poor under their feet. |
LeoDeKing:The very fabric of APC governance is built on those dis-qualities you listed there and you still feel qualified to talk about those? Why are Nigerians rooting for Obi all of a sudden? You think it's because of ipobs or the Obidients mantra just came out of thin air? Your party, which includes Tinubu snuffed life out of Nigerians making the country difficult to live in. Nigerians are going to snuff your party and their gang of crooks out of Aso Rock in 2023. Just watch! |
Tinubuwins2023e:Cry as much as you want. He makes so much sense. The two tribes in Nigeria are the rich and the poor. The rich are a united tribe while the poor will cut their throats to have just a morsel of what the rich enjoy daily. You're one of the poor throat-cutter who for a morsel of ẹwà, àgbàdo and cassava sells your birthright and your own fellow tribesmen. |
Let Nigeria invest MASSIVELY in COMPULSORY, QUALITATIVE PRIMARY EDUCATION AND COMPULSORY QUALITATIVE TECHNICAL-BASED SECONDARY EDUCATION. Those who have the desire to go into intellect-based professions such as medicine, laws etc should proceed to universities. While the others continue to technical, hand or machine-based activities. |
CoronaVirusRelo:Knowing that the APC does not stand for anything godly, I come by the same Isaiah verse you quoted to declare that this time in 2023, Asiwaju Jagaban would be addressed as follows: "His excellency, the former governor of Lagos State, the APC national leader and the presidential contender for the 2023 election while speaking at his residence at Bourdillon Ikoyi....." |
nairalee:Y'all can now see that APC deliberately wanted ASUU to suffer. It's not because they have no money, it's not because what ASUU is asking for is too much but these guys don't mean well for us and how best can they show this? Make the education system suffer! And then, we come to Nairaland to misyearn against ASUU. |
plaindealer:Is there any car manufacturing company in Nigeria patronized by common people? How many of the so called common people can afford a brand new car either Nigerian or foreign made? Innoson is not there yet. But if Nigeria were to be a functioning country, it'll enjoy more patronage that'll force it into global standard. But used cars sell more than new cars here. |
Treasure17:Buhari that is not aware....in fact, he's shocked that this is happening under his nose. ASUU and Ngige, with Adamu Adamu are the ones fighting. Buhari is not aware. This cabalistic style leadership is what Tinubu people want to foster on us again. Their plans will never materialiaze. They will campaign and spend money but they'll not make headway. Nigeria will rise and crush all the devils that just want to be swimming in our money and power. |
And you think Osun state indigenes will fold their hands and watch. It'll be a wrong political move by the house if that happens. On another note, Adeleke is not the only one to be ruling with vendetta after being sworn in. It took Seyi Makinde many months before getting over Ajimobi. Only few individuals can actually govern without vendetta. Buhari is still blaming Jonathan till date. |
