SHINJACRUSADER:Christians aren't looking for who to love them. Jesus loved everyone to the extent of dying to save people. Christians only became as they are because they accepted that love and one of the major aspects of good news is spreading love to people even when they hate you. They're not doing it because they want Muslims to love them back, they're doing it because Jesus commanded it. |
festacman:Saying Soludo isn't correct isn't the same as blaming Soludo. Perhaps Soludo's post isn't about Obidents at all, perhaps it is about Obidents. But I still insist. Who organized the Jewish mob against Jesus? Who are those that have been seeking opportunity to nail Jesus ever since they figured out that many people were listening to him? The 5,000 people he fed or the angry religious leader who Jesus called "hypocrites". I just see it as sanctimonious for these hypocritical politicians to mention the stories of the gospels instead of them to focus on good governance. 4 years is sailing by Soludo and he should be more concerned about making an impact that will make him more accepted in Anambra than Obi is presently. Do you know why I started liking Seyi Makinde? He figured out his hatred and criticism of Ajimobi is not enough to win him a second term so he focused on good governance. In the end, I can say that Oyo State people prefer Seyi to Ajimobi. Soludo should replicate that too. Time is going. |
ola6:The letter she wrote pained you? Okay o But a part of the same leaked files suggested that INEC deliberately used malfunctioning BVAS to conduct the election. Who then should trust the credibility of the election except the winner? Whatever happens Sha....Nigeria must sha survive whether it is Tinubu or Obi. We don't want vultures in government. |
But those who attacked Jesus are not headless mob anyway Jesus was attacked and condemned by the organized Jewish council headed by Caiaphas the high priest according to the gospels. So Soludo isn't correct. But why are people associating that with Obidients? I'm a supporter of Peter Obi but I don't support thee rascality of most Obidients. And lastly, there are political rascals in every party so don't come here crucifying the Obidents and praising other rascals. If Obidients have been gentle and docile, their mouths, zeal and vigour would have been demotivated a long time ago. Their sharp-mouthedness is why they are still relevant |
muyico:Madness!!! |
tinsel:I'm not siding Soyinka but it is stupidity to compare Soyinka with Adichie. Soyinka's generalisation belongs to that of Achebe, JP Clarke etc. Even though, Soyinka belongs to the top echelon of that generation. It's sheer stupidity to now denigrate Soyinka's pedigree because of his comments on Obi though I disagree with him (Soyinka). Soyinka is one of the few fathers of literature we have around and while some other may not be as popular, there are still a lot of writers who are more sound than Adichie. Adichie is a novelist and writer while Soyinka has almost all the genres and still got a Nobel when internet wasn't a thing. What about Femi Osofisa, Niyi Osundare etc. |
safarigirl:The problem is that we still have unemployed and underemployed doctors. Doctors are leaving and nurses are leaving government hospitals. These are well trained, mid-level healthcare workers. When they leave, the powers that be don't recruit new ones who are just coming into the system. Most of the new ones often have to survive on crumbs from private hospitals where they are heavily underemployed and underpaid. Now, these newbies lose hope and start clamoring to japa too. On the other hand, the few nurses and doctors left in teaching hospitals are now being overworked because their colleagues are leaving and the government is not recruiting new hands. Because they're overworked and the system keep worsening, they also start thinking of how to japa. The japa syndrome especially among healthcare workers is a lot of mess that requires serious and sincere government intervention to fix it. |
ola6:Intellectual laziness is me supporting a candidate I can trust more with power rather than another candidate who is apparently an abuser of power that you want me to support because he's from my tribe? If you have a good knowledge of history, you would know that bad governance especially in Yoruba land isn't about tribe. It's about individuality. When Basorun Gaa was threatening the lives of people of Oyo town including King Abiodun, was Gaa not an Oyo man. Can you tell an Oyo citizen of the time to vote for Basorun Gaa over an outsider that is proven to manage power well because Gaa is from your backyard? Who is now lazy intellectually speaking? |
haybhi1:The world knows who is more intelligent between you and Chimamanda. Unholy people that are economical with the truth! |
mariahAngel:They should just go to the NBS statistics and accuse it of being tribalistic. The truth is very rude and doesn't care about emotions Is the North not the most deprived région? Are there not wealth being locked underground in the North while violence has taken hold of the populace? Leave those delusional folks alone. They want the North to keep being poor as it is. |
lamdbull:Who cares? Most of them have been rubber stamp anyways |
Iamicekid:You can't conclude like that. Insomnia can be caused by psychological trauma too and I think you'd agree that divorce can be psychological. You even stated "regardless of any circumstances". |
Throwback:The one wey wan depart don depart. How can APC win an election and still be a restless as they were during the height of the campaigns. If Obi eventually gets to presidency, trust me, sycophants like you will have a hope of living in a sane country where you don't need to tell lies to live. |
Nice2023:How will you know who among the police belongs to the 1% you mentioned. I'm not a fan of the police either but trust me, we can't do without them. |
UnusualEmissary:If those obedients didn't "overdo", they would have been silenced a long time ago Their bullish behavior is why the Obedient movement is still much alive even though I'm also against trolling and bullying. But in Yoruba land, they say "were la fi n wo were" (We cure madness using madness) |

Ynix:You're going very far. Is El Rufai a person in whose hands Northern Nigeria can entrust their securiy? Not to talk of the whole Nigeria The major problem Tinubu's government may face at inception is to have a cabinet who are "hated" by the majority of Nigerians. It would make the administration a difficult one because every policy (including the sincere ones) will be vehemently opposed. |
IyaebeTheGreat:If you're truly elderly as they claim (your posts here don't indicate that by the way), I'm sure you'd be wishing you have an industrious son like that lawyer-cum-singer that we call Falz. People like him are the voice of reason against people like you. |
Legitisreal:Your statement sounds like he's an incorrigible liar of whose antics you've being a victim several times? Have you met him one-on-one before and that picture you painted there is factual or it's just the "normal things" people say. |
Where the eye sees, the mouth chop Ibi toju tu ri, lẹnu tí n jẹ |
xevove2061:Shitty jobs it may be. But people don't care about shits if it feeds them. Or would you want factory worked to be pressing phones and still be operating machines? |
I once did. It was an international school where the director or school admin restricted teachers from accessing their phones during class hours. You submit your phone with the school secretary and you can only pick it after the school has closed. |
Zonefree:I know one former senator who has money, but he's in prison Money is not all. Have Jesus first! |
ENGBOS:Why won't they reject him? Obi's followers are the most decent, educated and enlightened Nigerians. That's how APC was able to beat them down with violent during the elections. You think APC thugs can stand it if Obi's followers are half as violent? The story wouldn't be what we have now |
Rigging and calling for interim government are two sides of the coin: attempt to truncate the country's democracy. The riggers are not justified, neither are the ones calling for interim government. |
Sonnobax15:If you're a moral person in Nigeria, the only club you can open is a reading club. Even then, most people won't come because they hate reading too. If you want to be moral, run away from anything club or else, you'd be mocking yourself. |
JuanDeDios:The problem I have with this generation is the "whataboutism" and the assumption that we know everything because we have all the resources at hand Let me give you a poser to get you angrier the more. Elisha the prophet healed many people of various diseases, yet he died of a disease. The people called God's Generals like John Lake were "healers" so to speak but guess what? A lot of them died of the same diseases that they healed. The spiritual realm does not value generalisation. It's about individuality. And if you think because something happened to others it must happen to you, you're mistaken. In the spiritual realm, it's about what you seek is what you get. Bad things still happen to good people and it doesn't mean that God is not good. But what you focus on and what you concentrate on is what you'd have. |
SultanOfPuna:It was stupidity to you.... But they eventually had the child exactly 9 months as expected .....now who is the one exhibiting stupidity here? The man of God and his wife sharing what happen while she was pregnant with their first son and you who thought you've seen all just because you can read and write and believe science explains everything we can see. The Bishop has shared this story in many instances. The wife is only confirming that the story is real because it's exactly the way Bishop Oyedepo said it. |
SultanOfPuna:Which one be "Dem don use and dump una" Didn't the Delta elders enjoy the money for kparaga? They drank their oil in terms of kparaga etc nau |

Kobojunkie: What you're saying is that you know everything and nothing puts me off than this line. Even the most intelligent scientists subjects issues to further investigations and findings, with shades of doubts on its veracity. But the bolded shows you have a third eye view of the whole event and you can therefore make conclusions that way. There's a lot you don't know, there's a lot I don't know. It's prideful to talk in a manner that shows you have mastery over thoughts, intents, actions and consequences in the heart and lives of people who are not even conscious you're investigating them. |
