callthefred: According to the French Ambassador, this is a €110m euro project but only $6m has been secured. How will the next government raise the balance?. I hope this is not a plan to have another light rail that would take 20 years to complete like we are heading for in Lagos.
It's taken Lagos 16 years to complete a phase of less than 50km and the ambition of Lagos is to have like 300km. Hmmm Money that'll be stolen and you won't hear anything about it again |

oyebanji44: They have started copying Lagos .....
Tinubu brilliant idea is gaining momentum across the nation.... Ordinary $6 million is what a whole Kaduna cannot raise within a year or two. It's laudable they're building rail and BRT, it's pathetic borrowing is seen as a norm in a country where wastage of public resources is the norm. Even the borrowing Lagos did, they can raise that money internally within a few years. But borrowed money is like stolen waters, always sweet in the mouth of the thieves. Until the next generation start battling the problems of the past compounded with the challenges of the future. |

UncleAyo: Sometime, it is inferiority complex for Africans to put on suit.
You will see universities and lecturers forcing students to put of suit for their academic project defence. Thinking it makes them look smart.
Are there not Yoruba cloths that are smart and can as well replace suit? Is our hot weather not inclement enough to discourage one from wearing suit?
Will it not be good if: 1. Science is taught in both native language and English up to Secondary School level. 2. You create your videos contents (Youtube, instagram e.t.c) and blog posts in both English and your native language. 3. Students are mandated to on Fridays speak only native language in schools and in their classes? All these things you mentioned are laudable but it will take a government that thinks, plans and executes to do those We only had a set of leaders like that in the first republic. |

Just because you people are known to commit crimes more than Yorubas doesn't mean you travel more than Yorubas. No ethnic group in the whole of Africa travels as much as Omoluabis. I've been to countries you probably never have heard before and I've seen a lot of Omoluabis there. I've been privileged to travel to a lot of countries around the world. From the rich and exotic ones to the poor ones, I'm so surprised to see a lot of my people there..... Also I want you to understand Yorubas are more than any ethnic group in the Western world and that's where our remittance comes from majorly.... All those importer dollars nonsense only lives in your fantasies. Omo you people are delusional... You think a lot of Yorubas are also not angry with the APC government?? Lol They sometimes think it's because of APC. I've been fighting APC tooth and nail on this forum but that doesn't mean that Southeasterners are not troubled by "I better pass you" syndrome. They like reveling in being better than other people and any indices that suggests otherwise, they'd fight tooth and nail. |

Tinubu built the first Independent power plant for Lagos which was later taken by FG
While Nadeco fought long hard for Democracy we know who wasn't involved and who came in to rescue
Know how many Anambra Indegene are locked up overseas vs Lagos indegene who are free
. Tinubu is too old to do anything now compared to what he would have done in the early days. His handlers are just vultures and profiteers who know that the man needs rest but for their selfish purpose keep marketing him. He wants to je called "president". That's all he wants. But the vultures around him wants to enjoy what Yussuf, Kyari, Bashir Ahmed, Tunde etc enjoyed in Buhari's time. That's why they're dangerous. A new cabal is coming if Tinubu becomes president. This new cabal would be more dangerous than the one of Buhari's time because those who would make up the cabal are more educated than those in Buhari's clan. May God save Nigeria. |

Or you just ignore them especially if you feel trying to talk to them can worsen the case... It is the new policies that made us know the kind of trains they're using.
What's the greatest thing Nigeria built since 1999, national trains, funded by the FG with borrowed money from China. Ordinary people cannot even use the trains.
A time is coming in Nigeria, when state governments will embark on massive projects of a greater magnitude and there won't be a noise, borrowing or hullabaloo about it.
But first, these set of corrupt leadership must go. |

Ttalk: We don't need works bank to tell us that.
Are you insinuating the South should wait for the north ni, or Nigeria should concentrate development in the north so as to meet up with the South?
This is one reason Nigeria should not allow the likes of Akinwunmi Adeshina, Okonjo Iweala, Ezekwesili to become Nigeria's president. They have been so hypnotized with western education that their policies would always under develop Nigeria Don't you get afraid of the government favouring the north over the south. It has always been so in Nigeria's history and sometimes, it looks like vengeance is being meted on northern Nigeria considering what is happening. The only reason we can't call it vengeance is that innocent people are the ones suffering. The governors and presidents think development comes by merely building roads, bridges and school. But that's incorrect. Development comes when there is security. After which people are interested in settling down to carry out business. Then you enforce massive education. At that point, building infrastructure will make sense. But at the rate they're going, they'll just keep building infrasture that'll be wasting. When HDI and security are low, there can never be development. |

Most Christmas carols in Oyo State schools are organised by their school fellowships which is totally voluntary except in Church owned schools. Even in those church own schools, they don't force anyone. The f*olish professor will soon get tired because a lot of people in Oyo State are tired religion without results. if Messi is the one that did this, they'll defend him saying that he's angry because he was knocked out. so you expect Ronaldo to be shining teeth because Morocco broke record ? this is the reason I'll never rate Messi ahead of Ronaldo because if Messi face half of the media hate Ronaldo has faced throughout his career, he would have retired long ago. they will easily break him to pieces. but Ronaldo has been facing media hate right from his starting days of his career to now yet he stood firm and keep breaking records. Messi is fifa and media darling hence some of his achievements will remain questionable. The guy has even busied himself with the training facilities at Real Madrid, the same club people he "fought" If you want to learn anything about building a career through hardwork, sense of self-worth, consistency and resilience, Ronaldo is the man to learn from. Messi is highly talented, in fact more than Ronaldo. But an average person cannot learn Messi because Messi operates by talent. You se Ronaldo, he's an example of zeal. Any average person that has zeal and passion can walk shoulder-to-shoulder with the highly talented. That's why I love and rate Ronaldo above Messi. |

fuckJones: Do you know that 2nd Niger Bridge was conceived in 1964.
The AKK gas pipeline was conceived in 1971.
The Anambra, Kashibilla, Zungeru & Mambilla dams were conceived in 1975.
The Lagos-Ibadan Expressway was conceived in 1978. The Lagos-Kano double standard rail guage was conceived in 1982
The Warri-Itakpe standard guage rail line was conceived in 1986.
The Ajaokuta steel company was conceived in 1962.
The National Steel development was conceived in 1966. These are some of the ideas our founding fathers conceived but weren't done when Nigeria was working.
Today, most of the aforementioned is either ongoing or completed by President Muhammadu Buhari Les APC administration.
This is one of the many reasons we love and we will vote APC. Buhari was one of those who dragged Nigeria backwards during military rule. That he worked on SOME of those projects now doesn't negate the fact that Nigeria has been traveling in reverse since he came in. Imagine Nigeria still executing projects conceived since 90s while Saudi (who started at around the same time as Nigeria) is already building a project of 100 years to come. APC know how to build a road and starve those that'll work the road. PDP on the other hand are prodigal children. We want neither of them. |
