Thanks to Almighty Allah. No life was lost. |
These are bunch of students lacking proper upbringing. Blame their parents. |
They(the politicians) felt so bad because the UK has become their backyards which they go to every now and then. Their greatest concern is that they felt endangered in the event of deterioration of their health while this policy lasts. |

An Italian man who wanted a Covid vaccination certificate without getting the jab turned up for his vaccine with a fake arm, officials say. The man, in his 50s, arrived for his shot with a silicone mould covering his real arm, hoping it would go unnoticed. But a nurse was not fooled and the man has now been reported to the police. The nurse told local media that when she had rolled up his sleeve, she found the skin "rubbery and cold" and the pigment "too light". After being discovered, the man tried to persuade the nurse to turn a blind eye, la Repubblica reported. But instead she reported him to the police for fraud. Local police are now investigating the incident in Biella, north-west Italy, and local officials have criticised the man's actions. "The case borders on the ridiculous, if it were not for the fact we are talking about a gesture of enormous gravity," the head of the Piedmont regional government, Albert Cirio, said in a statement on Facebook. He said the ploy was "unacceptable faced with the sacrifice that our entire community has paid during the pandemic, in terms of human lives, the social and economic cost". The man was reportedly a health worker who had been suspended from his job because he had not been vaccinated. The jab is mandatory for all health workers in Italy. La Repubblica suggests the incident may not have been a one-off, pointing to a message on social media that may have been written by the man. The Twitter post quoted by the paper featured a silicone male chest half-body suit, complete with fake arms and neck, that was on sale on Amazon for €488 (£416). "If I go with this, will they notice? Maybe beneath the silicone I'll even put on some extra clothes to avoid the needle reaching my real arm," the Twitter user reportedly wrote. The incident comes ahead of a tightening of the rules in Italy for those who have not been vaccinated. Since August, Italians have needed a Covid "green pass" - showing proof of vaccination, a negative test or recovery from the virus - to access train stations, cinemas, restaurants, gyms and swimming pools. But from Monday, these activities will be restricted to those with a "super green pass", which is only available to those who have been vaccinated or recently recovered from Covid. The vaccine pass rules have prompted protests in several Italian cities in recent weeks. Just over 73% of Italians are fully vaccinated against Covid - higher than in France or the UK, but lower than in Spain and Portugal. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-59524527

N340 per liter is so high in this present economic hardships we are in. Prices of commodities and services which are doubled already, would be quadrupled if this total removal of subsidy materializes Nigerians read this again as aforementioned above: Every responsible government in the world subsidizes the products its citizens use to survive. State governments in America collectively spend $10 billion to subsidize the fuel consumption of their citizens. The Biden administration just ordered the release of emergency oil reserves in its bid to bring down the prices of petrol, which have gone up in the last few months. The American government also spends $20 billion every year to subsidize agriculture in what is called "farm income stabilization." That’s why food is dirt cheap in America. And we are talking of the world’s wealthiest country. If anyone tells you America doesn’t subsidize the fuel consumption of its citizens, stare him straight in the face and call him or her a fraud without blinking! |
It's well. It's a welcome development. OPEC, what's your next action plan? |
Revamp our oil refineries and make them fully functional first. |
That's nice |
This is a nice gesture. I wish all the IDPs long lasting peace as they are returning to their respective communities. Governor Zulum is arguably the best governor any Nigerian state has ever had. |
In as long as the school remains a government-sponsored school, female Muslim students have the right to wear the hijab. I see no reason why Muslim students should be denied their constitutional rights. |
When is the federal government fulfilling the promise of the exit package (N-EXIT) made to Npower Batch A and B? |
It will be nice to be a lucky winner of goodies from soon-to-be digitalized dairy industry in Nigeria. |
No human being, not a priest, obviously not a pastor, and not even Alfa or sheikh can be compared to any of the Prophets or Messengers of God. It's a disgrace! It's a blasphemy! |
Can you imagine! The federal government wants the media not to report the activities of the criminals/terrorists killing innocent Nigerians when many of the terrorists' attacks are underreported especially in rural areas where they attack unchallenged. This is a clear oppression! |
Nigeria is a good example of an African republic. About 400 ethnic groups living in the African most populous country! We are all from Adam, and Adam was from the earth. We should learn to live peacefully with one another. We the youths, irrespective of our ethnic background, should be united and rescue our nation from the selfish and unjust leaders whose actions and inactions make us feel we are enemies. It's the mismanagement of the leaders of this geographical area that makes us see ourselves as enemies. Average Nigerians are not tribalistic. @Op Well done guy! Kindly add Baatonu to the list. The popular blogger, Farooq A. Kperogi is a Baatonu man from Kwara State He wrote in one of his posts on his blog: DMayor101: |
Nigeria is a land full of injustice and all negativities. Criminals who make live unbearable for innocent people are perpetrating heinous crimes now and there unchallenged, even at times they are protected. |
It's peace that we want in the world. We don't need avoidable war before we settle our disputes. |
No solutions were proffered. They just wasted some resources meant for Nigerians. |
I'm deeply saddened! Farming is the only source of living the poor in the rural areas depend on. But today, they do not even have the privilege to farm and produce the food they will eat. While some of our leaders are budgeting billions of naira and others budgeting millions of naira for their feeding, the average person and the poor masses are bedeviled with hunger and are living a fearful life. And most of the poor living in the rural areas are internally displaced and are deprived of fending for themselves. Today, they have no other options than to eat raw inedible grasses and we say we have government. What an injustice being perpetrated by our wicked heartless leaders! |

DMayor101:This part of the content made me laugh Some people, even after being corrected and educated, will still not change their wrong perceptions out of their arrogance. |
ANTIlSLAM:I won't be disappointed and all Muslims won't be disappointed because we Muslims practice the religion of all Prophets and Messengers of the Almighty God. None of the Prophets of Allah were Christians. All of them are Muslims. All Prophets and Messengers of the Almighty God, from Adam, Idris (Enoch), Nuh (Noah), Hud (Heber), Saleh (Methusaleh), Lut (Lot), Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Yaqub (Jacob), Yusuf (Joseph), Shu'aib (Jethro), Ayyub (Job), Dhulkifl (Ezekiel), Musa (Moses), Harun (Aaron), Dawud (David), Sulayman (Solomon), Ilyas (Elias), Alyasa (Elisha), Yunus (Jonah), Zakariya (Zachariah), Yahya (John the Baptist), Isa (Jesus) and to Muhammad(Peace be upon them all) were all righteous worshippers of the Almighty Allah.. Paul, the Antichrist(whose false belief you are following), your ownself and all disbelievers will be disappointed and humiliated on the Last Day. Eternal Success that is free of any form of disappointment is for the Muslims. I'm so happy to be a Muslim! That's the biggest gift a person could get. Being rightly guided is the best gift! AlhamduliLlah! |
darkCoal:You have said it all my brother. Ignorance is their disease. As for the intolerant folks below and their likes, I'm sorry for you. I'm sad for you. NaijaOlosho, Islamabadd, ggood, ANTIlSLAM, slyfoxxjoe. |
The youths protested over the inaction of the failed government in curtailing the incessant attacks, kidnappings and killings in their communities and the boys of the failed government got them arrested. But when is the government arresting the bandits/criminals that are disturbing the peace and livelihood of the innocent Nigerians? |
More bandits are moving from Zamfara State to Niger State with sophisticated weapons. They keep on buying more weapons with the huge ransom money they have accrued, and are disturbing the weapons to their newly recruited killers. Nigerian government needs to look for all possible means of disarming those heartless criminals. |
Marisujuaku:No, you are wrong. I didn't lie. The first picture is in reference to the first part of my post (i.e. the insecurity bedeviling the country). The second and third pictures are in response to all willfully blind wailers who didn't observe well and reacted wrongly that all the female children with the President are in Hijab(giving a wrong implication that they are all Muslim children). A sincere observant must surely see and acknowledge that there are children without Hijab there too. NB: I'm not a Buharist and I'm not in support of the way he is currently ruling the country and as a result of that, I see no reason for defending him. I'm a Nigerian. I only support good leaders(irrespective of their political parties), those who have mercy of the populace. |
