Unknown gunmen in Ogwashi-Uku community in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State has shot dead Mr. John Chukwudi who works as senior staff in Delta State Polytechnic.

A Reliable source confirmed that when the unknown gunmen stormed the area, they started shooting continuously which made all the residents ran away for their safety before they finally killed the senior staff.

Nigerian Singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, was granted bail today by the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi Lagos.


At the resumed bail application, his lead defense counsel Olalekan Ojo, SAN, urged the court to accept the bail application based on the presumption of his innocence in accordance with Section 162 (1)

The defense also pleaded that a liberal approach is taken in hearing the bail application. The prosecution counsel, led by Rotimi Oyedepo, however, argued that it is not the temporary release of the singer that mattered but the final judgment.

He, therefore, urged the court to grant accelerated hearing rather than bail. He added that since the lawyer of the defendant said the defendant is a celebrity, then his actions and inactions have a multiplier effect on youths in the entire federation.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo who presided over the bail hearing after listening to the defense and prosecution arguments granted the singer bail to the sum of N2m and two sureties.

One of the sureties must be on Grade Level 10 in the Federal or state employment. The other surety must have a landed property within the court’s jurisdiction. The judge directed EFCC to verify the bail terms.

Ethiopia comes second on the list with 7.1 million Cannabis users.

Last week, we gathered that Ramos was actually ready to leave Real Madrid after a fight with the club’s president, Florentino Perez recently as confirmed by DAILY POST.

The Spain defender could leave Real Madrid after staying at the club for about 14 years, to join top England club giant.



However, Marca discloses to an insider that Zidane did a long dialogue with Ramos at the end of the recent Spanish season in a bid to convince the 33-year-old to remain at Madrid next season.

The Spain newspaper claimed that Zidane “reacted positively” to his captain’s doubts and will make every effort to create an atmosphere that will convince the experienced center-back to stay with the Los Blancos.

The report also claimed that the Frenchman believes Ramos is vital to the club’s success both on and off the pitch.

Pope Francis revealed this while addressing in a sponsored anti-abortion conference.

He quoted:

“Is it licit to throw away a life to resolve a problem?” he asked. “Is it licit to hire a hitman to resolve a problem?”

Francis stamped his foot against abortion based on prenatal testing, saying a human being is “never incompatible with life.”

‘Even those babies destined to die at birth or soon thereafter deserve to receive medical care in the womb, ‘Francis said, adding that their parents must get support so they don’t feel isolated and afraid.

‘While one can argue about using medical resources this way, there is value to it for the parents,’ he said.

“Taking care of these children helps parents to grieve and not only think of it as a loss, but as a step on a path taken together,” Francis said.
