Toke Makinwa on Friday afternoon reached out to a Nigerian man who stated that he regrets marrying his wife.
Toke had taken to her Twitter handle to ask how her followers are doing, and the Twitter user @oladeplentyola replied.

”Regretting the biggest mistake of my life ( married to my wife).”

NYSC 2019 Batch B stream 1 corps members have been wondering when they will pass out ( POP).

Recall that, The First case of Coronavirus which hit Nigeria in February has made many corps members to start feeling anxious of knowing the probable date for POP.

At the moment, The NYSC management is yet to release any official circular containing the date of the Passing out Parade (POP) but below might be the probable date for it.

Probable Date:

The NYSC 2019 Batch B stream 1 orientation course which started on Tuesday, 18th June 2019 is expected to be completed on 18th June 2020 since it is a one year program.

However, from indication, the passing out parade is likely to be between 18th and 30th June 2020.

Will There Be POP for 2019 Batch B due to the Outbreak of Coronavirus in Nigeria?

Provided the outbreak of Coronavirus is over then, NYSC will hold the POP but if there is still Coronavirus Pandemic, they will pass out in a low key that is they will be asked to go to their various homes and will be told when to come for their discharge certificate.

Also have it at the back of your mind that after June, there will be no monthly allowance for 2019 Batch B stream 1.

As Coronavirus lockdown keeps trending, A policeman has shot a woman in Delta during a hunger protest.

According to information gathered on reputable websites, The policeman who shot the protesting woman on Wednesday left his rifle behind and ran to an undisclosed location, this happened in Delta.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Hafiz Inuwa, told reporters that “the police are on the trail of the suspect in order to intensify investigations into the matter.”

The protest of which a large number of women participated in Sapele area of the state was as a result of the extension of the coronavirus lockdown announced by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, on Tuesday evening.

According to DAILY POST, it was reported that women and youths took the streets in Sapele local government Area of the state to protest the extension of lockdown by the Government and lack of palliative care.

The protest recorded its first casualty as the protester was shot by a policeman as the women protested over hunger.

The woman is now lying in a critical condition in the hospital after the officer shot her two legs.

The victim was reportedly shot at a close range in both legs by the trigger-happy policeman despatched to restore normalcy in the area.

The policeman was said to have immediately ran away leaving his service rifle behind in a desperate move to avoid mob attack.

Recall that Delta state recorded its first COVID-19 death as a patient who tested positive for the virus died before the test result came.

Currently, the state has recorded 4 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Two days ago, Delta State Governor, Okowa extended the lockdown by 2 weeks in a bid to help curb the spread of the virus in the state at hand.

The extension of the lockdown is okay but however what alternative do they have for the People.

How will they survive this another 2 - week extension knowing fully well that everybody must sit at home because there will be no movement.

A little boy who was mistakenly accused of being a spy for cultists in Lagos has been rescued by Police.

Officers of the Rapid Response Squad, Lagos state police command on Monday April 13th, rescued a 12-year-old boy from being mobbed after he was falsely accused of being a spy to suspected cultists attacking residents of Lagos and Ogun border communities.
According to a post by the Rapid Response Squad, some residents of Iju in Lagos state, accosted the teenager who was loitering in the area and accused him of working as a spy for members of the Awawa boys cult group alleged to have carried out various attacks in the area since the lockdown began.

RRS said before they could lynch the boy, a patrol team got to the scene and rescued the teenager from their grip. He was interrogated and he explained that he was on the street because he fled his home after a disagreement with his mother.

“Our officers on patrol along Iju came across this 12yr old boy who residents suspected to be a spy for the Awawa boys. They interviewed him n realised he ran away from home after a misunderstanding with his mom.

“His dad has been contacted and he has been handed over to Iju Police Station. Our patrol continues.”, the RRS post read.

A Taxi Driver has reportedly died after security operatives who paraded themself as Soldiers beat him to stupor for carrying passengers who were not wearing face masks amid Coronavirus Pandemic.

A Taxi driver was reportedly beaten to death yesterday by security operatives, for carrying passengers who were not wearing face masks.

According to an eyewitness who is identified as @ayebechristopher on Instagram, the ugly incident happened at Marian in Calabar, Cross River State’s capital.

He further said that the driver who was wearing a face mask when he was stopped, was beaten by security operatives till he collapsed. He was confirmed dead thereafter.


The Instagram user wrote;

WHO said only wear Mask if you’re sick or taking care of a sick person but the Governor of CRS with his own eye service, so they’ll say he’s fighting Corona too came out and said you must wear Nose Mask else you stay indoors, (that’s actually not the problem) but why not give the Law Enforcement Agents you’re using proper orientation.

According a report by Sahara Reporters, a 23-year-old lady identified as Rejoice has committed suicide in the Mpape area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja after drinking Sniper, a popular Insecticide.

The incident, which occurred on Saturday, threw the entire area into confusion as neighbours battled to save her life.

SaharaReporters gathered that the deceased discovered that her boyfriend was having an affair with another lady and decided to take her own life out of anger.

It was also gathered that the deceased had always threatened to kill herself over the unfaithfulness of her boyfriend.

A resident of the area disclosed that Rejoice had been having financial difficulties to cater for her child, who she had for another man.

Her body was said to have been found in the bathroom and immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where she was confirmed dead on arrival.

Spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, Anjuguri Manzal, could not be reached when contacted by SaharaReporters as calls to his mobile numbers were not answered.

Recall that on the 27th of March, Davido announced the test result of Chioma on his twitter page after being tested positive for Coronavirus while the singer’s crew who took the Coronavirus test came out negative.

The test result of Davido was negative however, Chioma was the only person who turned out to be Positive to the virus.

A beautiful young girl who survived a bomb blast 18 years ago has taken to Social media to share her testimony.

Miss Ifeoma Emmanuel is her name and she was among the survivors in 2002 Ikeja Cantonment Bomb blast. She shared photos to mark the 18th anniversary of the horrible event which killed many people.

On her Twitter page, She shared a publication of Newspaper from 2002 tragic event. Ifeoma was just 4-year-old when the sad event happened then.

She wrote: 

Today mark’s 18 I escaped death! But God changed my story during the bomb blast that happened in Ikeja cantonment when I was just 3+years old that took the lives of millions of souls including that of my kid brother and left me the only surviving child.
