My cut:$396 (N142,560 using 360 as exchange rate). Zero financial investment on my part, only time spent in searching for the name on ED.

Rule one in the business is PATIENCE. You must tie wrapper and Gele with it. If you persist, read and explore it will eventually pay off.

I would not have revealed the name as my practice is but monitoring spirits have beaten me to the game, heck I would have reported this only after I had received all my money. well here it is.

Some folks will regret not registering the name, not me. This is inline with my objective so no room for regret or if I had known.


PS:It is industry standard practice to reveal name when all monies have been received because anything can happen. I have broken this rule and I have also broken my personal style of not revealing names.

There are some single .co domains you would find available yet you wouldn't be able to register it because it has a premium tag.

Well, solely whatever is not the only single .io I came up with but others has premium price tag, I was surprised it doesn't have that either.

So whether you see that as a premium or not. Its your choice.

$450 is big for first offer, it shows the inquirer is not a low baller, dont be scared to raise your ba, i am even surprised NS let you reg that premium domain at reg price. Take it like this, if he doesn't buy, you will still sell it probably in the future. The name is a good name.

I was the one who listed it for 1500 or so on sedo or afternic. Thought I listed for 1800 on dan alas, last 0 omitted unknowingly. All in all, na person 2 month salary be that. Thanks to Almighty.

Then you should have asked if it is a crypto domain.
Make we no use assumptions discourage others that may decide to register something similar.
Google the geo and keyword and see if it relates to crypto in any way.

There are plenty of end users that deal on coins. Old coins, antiques etc.

Squadhelp gurus, If you submitted some names the same day, like three days ago now and some just got rejected today however some are still pending approval, doesn't it mean the ones they didn't reject are very likely to be accepted or they are just waiting to break your heart by rejecting everything finally?

There are thousands of geos out there that are yet to be registered. Many of them dropped several years ago. I don't think that domains dropping recently will make it more valuable or appealing to endusers.

I may be wrong though.

The name you are outbounding with doesn't affect so far as the domain you are trying to sell is good,and needed by an end user.

But true, use your real name if possible, so it will show as same name in the invoice, if need be.

I outbound with my Facebook at times and it's my Nigerian Facebook,and I still get responses.

Check the sales letter posted on this thread. If you are outbounding do not use your name. Use a foreign name (English name). Use Gmail account. Check the time difference of the city to Nigeria when sending (very important) . Then leave the rest to God.

So a schools website dropped at ed yesterday, and i looked it up in wayback machine the site is very much usefull to them, maybe they forgot to renew the domain or something, can i buy it then sell to them or the domain is already trademarked?

Sometimes all these questions does not follow when it comes to brandable. The end user knows what he wants and decides to pick his preference.
