I agree with you about archer but Veep grew from strength to strength.
Silicon valley isn't filled with frat boy jokes its very clever just ignore the trailer and watch the first episode.

Gee, thanks! @the bold, well, I do tend to be very picky when it comes to TV series. I look out for certain things in a show before I can fully invest, most especially the realism aspect. Now, Empire doesn't quite stack up the standard I would expect from an hip-hop themed drama series. For one, the characters don't speak hip-hop. The music ain't really hip-hop in the real sense either. The plotholes were far too many to be ignored. Weak script. In fact, I got the sense that I was watching a South African Soap on Mnet the first and only time I watched Empire.

Anyhoo, I don't think I'd ever overhyped a sub-par show before. Can you give me a list, please?

maybe I don't get you, but you asked why women don't approach men you didn't say attract. approach and attract are two different things all together. I might see a guy I like give him eye contact, smile or say hi to him in this case am attracting him to me, but you said approach which means seeing a guy and walking up to him and getting his number or declaring my intentions, that's why I said its not in the psychological make up of women to approach men and I still stand by what I said.

I guess because he is a man so he speaks from a mans point of view, we ladies also have relationship experts who tell women how to attract men and for ladies who are bold enough how to also approach men.
you guys don't even know you are lucky, by doing the approaching you are actually at an advantaged position because you get to approach the girls you like and find attractive. if not for the way the world is changing now and modernisation, its really not in the psychological make up of a woman to approach, chase or pursue men, we are not wired that way.
