thank you but I want to know why they added the word "Igbo" to the names of the towns and locations.
The pronunciation differs caused I guess you are from the East. The word "Igbo" in this context means forest and not Igbo as a tribe.

skull miner. I asked a simple question. Why is even the idol's place named Igbo olodumare. Have the buy- buy Igbos bought your idol and god?
Must you tagged them a skull miner? To answer your question, Just like the Christians see their supreme being as God. The adherents of African traditional religion in the Yoruba setting hold this belief that their supreme being is Oludamare. Some scholars believed the word Olodumare is the Yoruba translation of English word God. Still debatable though. Good work OP.

said convictions, not charges....charges doesn't mean anything. They can be acquitted.
Yes I know. You should understand our jucial system as regards to conviction. Definitely going to take a while cause of their slow jucial processes.

People have ways been charged to court for corruption...it didn't start with this government.

in fact 8o% of convictions gotten in this government were for cases started by previous administration.

Generally how is Nigeria fairing with corrupting that is,the question.
Lol. Don't want to make reference to last administration cause they actually championed corruption which majority of Nigerians were not aware off until this present administration exposed alot. Saying 80% of convictions started with last administration, I don't angry with that. Not making case for buhari's administration though because he has yet to take the bull by the horn in his quest to defeat corruption.

shachris02:
but at least we should be seeing positive results na....however little.

instead it's getting worse by the day.
Lol. But few have been charged to court. Trust me it will take time because they have to following due process. And this present administration is not helping the situation cause the president has surrounded himself with those who have been indicted in one way or another thus making the fight unproductive.
Politics › Re: Despite Fight, Corruption Still Thrives In Nigeria, NBS Says by Treasure17(m): 3:47pm On Jan 03, 2019
How do you fight corruption and expect instant result in a rotten system. It has gotten so deep that only few in this country are excepted in a society where almost everybody is trying to outsmart each other. The monetary aspect of corruption is even worse. Maybe the government can stem the tide through heavy sanctions if found guilty but laws in Nigeria only exist on principles and not in practice.
