Of all players some research groups have filmed in the past 20+ years, Xavi Hernández is the one with the highest average scanning frequency in a full game (measured last 10 seconds before receiving the ball):

For those who don’t know, a scan was operationally defined as a player’s active head movement where the face (and hence, the eyes) is temporarily directed away from the ball, with the assumed intention of gathering information about teammates and/or opponents, to prepare for subsequently engaging with the ball.

Xavi’s head is always moving to check his environment before receiving the ball. No wonder United players were chasing shadows in 2009 CL final. We couldn’t get close to him. Fergie said it’s like he had eyes behind his head. If you think you have closed Xavi down, he just turns to the other direction he had scanned before receiving the ball and eludes his marker.

McFred in a million years can’t attain this level of awareness.

Everything is wrong with the team. Our full backs won’t overlap, our wingers won’t cross, they’d rather cut in and try to play shots (e.g. Greenwood) or pass back 90 percent of the time to the full backs, even though we have the best header on the pitch, we have an energetic Bruno that is always running around without direction, and mostly he is with dem Ronaldo and Greenwood, and also trying to rush passes or play shots, we have the midfield gap because only two players are around to prevent counterattacks, meanwhile Pogba is relatively slow and finds it difficult to track back, why won’t any decent team counterattack us easily? We also have some players that started training yesterday playing today, when the bench has players.

Indiscipline, favouritism, mediocrity, laziness, no chemistry, etc. It’s just a mess right now!

Thank God Klopp and Lampard pointed it out. At some point the team became heavily reliant on counters and penalties.

It's all there for the blind to see cos Bruno buried a chunk of those penalties.


Anyway, in all these, it's easier to assume that the players have decided to frustrate Ole out of the job just like they did to Mou.

Chelsea players did same to Lampard and Mou as well.

That's the easiest way to get rid of unwanted elements

We are badly coached if not, with Pogba and Bruno/VDB alongside any of Fred, McTom or Matic, we can easily control the tempo of a game...

Soumare, Tielemans and Maddison are not in any way better than Matic, Pogba and Bruno, there's nothing anyone will tell me otherwise...

Ole himself know say him no get pattern and that he was severely outplayed yesterday but what most coaches do is to have an alternate plan B is such a case, even if it's only that match. You've C Ronaldo who is actually very good in the air and good positionally in the box, you also have rashford who is deadly around the box. The major thing to do is to tell Bruno and Pogba to spam in crosses into the box for at least a C Ronaldo and rashford.

How he fails even in this C Ronaldo factor is really surprising sha. One of the worst games I've seen under Ole, and ystdy match will further convince him on Mcfred more
